The purpose with this study is to investigate how a private company works to motivate its employees and how the employees perceive this effort and if differences in motivation is dependent on the number of hours worked. The study shows that the motivational efforts that IKEA makes is perceived by the employees. However, the study does not show any relationship between motivation and number of hours worked, instead it points towards that motivation is unaffected by number of hours worked

The positive youth development approach (PYD) is widely used as a meaningful framework to guide research, policy, and intervention, to support young people to develop their full potential. Psychotherapy, on the other hand, is a verbal and psychological procedure that can be a suitable solution to mental health concerns, which are prevalent among youth. This study aimed to explore the potential role of developmental assets in treating clients with depression and anxiety disorders using Internal Cohesion Psychotherapy (ICP). In total, 10 young people who took at least five sessions of ICP were part of this study. In-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted to gather information about clients’ experiences with ICP and their perception/opinions on the presence of developmental assets in their lives. The results confirm the effectiveness of ICP in treating depression and anxiety, while clients acknowledge the role of developmental assets in their psychotherapeutic process. The current study has important theoretical, practical, and research implications. It provides evidence on how clients use their developmental assets in maximizing the effectiveness of the ICP process. The usage of developmental assets to enhance the effectiveness of psychotherapy opens a new path for further research and can serve as a foundation ground for intervention on mental health among youth

Community security issues involve a host of challenges for the Republic of Kosovo in general, as well as for state mechanisms in particular. Security is affected by criminal acts in the field of community safety to the problems of functioning of relevant mechanisms in this field. In addition to the weak economy and other social factors in post-modern society, social media has an extremely large impact on shaping public opinion. This factor often causes social division / hatred, or even a threat to Kosovo\u27s society and national security. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze and discuss the impact of factors in increasing crime in rural areas and what impact have they produced in Kosovo society? The framework for the study is the approach of preventing violent crime and its growth in rural areas. The method chosen for the analysis of relevant literature, documents and statistics is qualitative content analysis. After applying this method, the results are significant in several ways. The first is that a good part of the perpetrators of these criminal offenses are convicted or still active, two have an extremely large number of criminal offenses. Third is that their impact on society\u27s perceptions has a negative effect on the attitude of young people towards opposing beliefs and / or other non-Albanian ethnicities in Kosovo. And fourth, the wealth of some of them realized by illegal activities and promoted on social networks, unfortunately seems attractive to many young people. Therefore, the importance of this paper lies in providing a complete overview of the situation of monitoring and analysis of statistical data in the Republic of Kosovo as a basis for understanding the problems of the spread of rural crime

Cyber threats, generally including hybrid warfare, are among the greatest challenges that states and organizations are facing in modern times. This is due to the significant evolution of technology in recent years, which has made a vast amount of information available to individuals and organizations. Such threats can cause serious damage to critical infrastructure, such as transportation, energy, and water resources, as well as communication and financial systems. They can also impact a country\u27s national security and political stability. To address this threat, states have implemented various policies and measures to ensure national security against the backdrop of cyber security measures. These measures often involve establishing the foundation for national strategies, legal regulations, and specialized agencies responsible for protection against cyber threats. These agencies collaborate with both public and private organizations to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber-attacks. States have also taken steps to increase public and business awareness regarding cyber threats and to assist in the prevention of cyber threats and the protection of national assets. This study will provide insights into the policies and measures that states needed to take in order to ensure national security. Overall, states require proactive policies and detailed strategies aimed at preventing cyber threats and safeguarding critical infrastructure from potential attacks

The circulation of heavy metals in nature is characterized by high toxicity. However, the effects depend on the amount of toxic, the form of exposure to toxicity, the types of species exposed, age, sex, genetics and nutritional status, and on the consequences in ecosystems. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the environmental situation in some regions has deteriorated even more due to poor monitoring by state institutions. The challenges that await us in the future are complex and hence we risk not knowing how to meet the future challenges. The situation with toxicity and pollution is complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which for the first time in this century has turned into a global pandemic. Although we were not prepared to cope with this pandemic, still we succeeded to manage it better than the previous pandemics. High concentrations of heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, and nickel are among the metals that are dangerous for the public health of citizens. Metallic elements are characterized by toxic effects, especially with the consumption of food products. High concentrations cause great damage to human and animal organs but sometimes even small concentrations of it can have harmful effects. The increase in toxic concentration has affected industrial development, poor waste management, the release of toxic gases from industrial activities, as well as use of pesticides and herbicides in agriculture. High toxicity causes health damage, e.g. resulting from human exposure to metal toxicity and the use of contaminated foods. The heavy metals present in the environment such as Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Se, Zn, Co, Cr, are essential nutrients required for various biochemical and physiological functions

Concentrations of heavy metals in the soil such as: (Pb, Cd, Zn and Cr), play a role in contamination of agricultural crops such as wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Roads in the Republic of Kosovo are congested with traffic; in addition, over 55% are more than 20 years old. The agricultural land near roads in Kosovo is cultivated with agricultural products, especially wheat. This study aimed to investigate the concentration of toxic metals in soil and wheat crops due to vehicle emissions. In this research are examined the physico-chemical factors that affect the mobility of metals in the soil of the research area as; pH, concentration of organic carbon and heavy metals such as: (Pb, Cd, Zn and Cr). Analytical research shows that the content of toxic metals decreases with increasing distance or along highways. The concentration tests of toxic metals near roads and lands planted with analyzed agricultural crop of corn showed that heavy metal deposits also depend on atmospheric conditions and emissions from vehicle traffic
