¿Es viable el fútbol de élite sobre césped artificial? El caso FIFA Women World Cup™

El objetivo de esta investigación es comparar variables de juego en césped natural y césped artificial en el alto rendimiento deportivo para comprobar en qué medida afecta al rendimiento deportivo y de gestión de la instalación. Se analizaron 283 jugadoras que participaron en las Copas Mundiales Femeninas de la FIFA de 2011 (césped natural) y 483 en la de 2015 (césped artificial). Para este estudio se tomaron como referencia variables relacionadas con los pases, toques, regates y entradas. Se utilizó la U de Mann-Whitney para contrastar las diferencias entre ambos torneos. Los resultados obtenidos en este estudio demuestran que el porcentaje de éxito respecto al total de acciones de rendimiento técnico es mejor en césped artificial (Mundial 2015) en gran parte de las variables estudiadas (salvo en regates), tanto totales como por posiciones.The aim of this research is to compare the game play variables in artificial turf vs. natural turf at high performance level and to assess in which manner it affects to the sport performance and the management of the facility. We analyzed 283 women players who participated in the FIFA® World Championship of 2011 (natural grass) and 483 women players of 2015 (artificial turf). Geographical distribution of <i>Austrolebias monstrosus</i> (Huber, 1995), <i>A. elongatus</i> (Steindachner, 1881) and <i>A. vandenbergi</i> (Huber, 1995) (Teleostei: Cyprinodontiformes), with comments on the biogeography and ecology of rivulidae in pampasic and Chaco floodplains

We present a new record for Austrolebias elongatus from Gualeguaychú, in Entre Ríos province, Argentina, based on new fieldwork and a revision of materialdeposited in national ichthyological collections. We also give evidence on the erroneous records of Austrolebias monstrosus and A. vandenbergi from Ituzaingó, Corrientes province, as well as present additional records from Salta province for those species. Material previously determined as A. elongatus from Santiago del Estero is attributed to A. monstrosus. Efectos de Cambios en Impuestos Indirectos en la Inflación

This document analyses and estimates the effect on inflation of the recently announced changes in indirect taxes (VAT and tariffs), using different methodologies. The combined effects of the tariff reductions (TLCs with the US, the European Union and Korea) and the planned VAT increase are almost neutral from a fiscal point of view. Nevertheless, under reasonable assumptions, the effect of the increase in VAT on inflation should be around half percentage point during the last quarter of 2003. This estimation assumes that inflation expectations remain unchanged, that markups suffer a mild long run compression, and that wage indexation to CPI is in place. The tariff reduction with the US should induce one tenth of a percentage point of lower annual inflation during 2004. This magnitude is similar to the estimated effect of the tariff reduction with the European Community that is already incorporated into inflation forecasts. The combined effect on annual inflation of the VAT increase and the tariff reduction with the USA is expected to be slightly below 0,5% during 2004. As for any forecast, the figures presented above are subject to important degrees of uncertainty. These numbers can be smaller if markups compress further or even go as high as 1% if credibility is lost. Monthly inflation before, during and right after the change in VAT will be highly informative with respect to alternative scenarios. Naturally, the incoming information can lead to a change in the estimations presented here. Particularly important will be the inflation rate of the month of October, when the impact effect of the increased VAT will be felt.

An endangered new species of seasonal killifish of the genus <i>Austrolebias</i> (Cyprinodontiformes: Aplocheiloidei) from the Bermejo river basin in the Western Chacoan region

Austrolebias wichi, new species, is herein described from seasonal ponds of the Bermejo river basin in the Western Chacoan district in northwestern Argentina. This species was found in a single pond, a paleochannel of the Bermejo River, which is seriously disturbed by soybean plantations surrounding it. Despite intensive sampling in the area, this species was only registered in this pond where it was relatively scarce. Therefore, we consider this species as critically endangered. This species is the sister species of A. patriciae in our phylogenetic analyses and is similar, in a general external aspect, to A. varzeae and A. carvalhoi. It can be distinguished among the species of Austrolebias by its unique color pattern in males. Additionally, from A. varzeae by presenting a supraorbital band equal or longer than the infraorbital band (vs. shorter) and from A. patriciae by the convex dorsal profile of head (vs. concave). Perspectives towards oral corrective feedback of students from a ba in foreign language teaching

Esta investigación cualitativa se realizó en una universidad privada del oriente antioqueño. El objetivo de este estudio fue describir las percepciones de los estudiantes de tercer semestre de la Licenciatura en Lengua Extranjera de un curso de inglés en 2021 sobre la retroalimentación correctiva oral (OCF) proporcionada por el profesor de inglés sobre su producción oral (OP) en el salón de clases de ingles como lengua extranjera. Los datos se obtuvieron mediante un cuestionario que se aplicó de forma remota a los participantes. Fueron once estudiantes los que participaron totalmente en esta investigación. Los hallazgos mostraron que para los estudiantes el hecho de ser corregidos oralmente no fue un problema y además manifestaron que les gusta. Además, consideraron al OCF como parte fundamental de su proceso de aprendizaje de idiomas. Además, los participantes señalaron que prefieren ser corregidos de inmediato en lugar de retrasar la OCF cuando cometen un error. También recomendamos al final de esta investigación, considerar las perspectivas de los estudiantes debido a su papel principal en el proceso de aprendizaje.This qualitative research was carried out at a private university in Eastern Antioquia. The objective of this study was to describe the perceptions of third-semester students from a BA in Foreign Language from an English course in 2021 about the oral corrective feedback (OCF) provided by the English teacher about their oral production (OP) in the EFL classroom. The data was obtained through a questionnaire that was applied remotely to the participants. They were eleven students who participated totally in this research. The findings showed that for students the fact of being orally corrected was not a problem and also manifested that they like it. In addition, they considered the OCF as a fundamental part of their language learning process. Moreover, the participants pointed out that they prefer to be corrected immediately instead of delayed OCF when they make a mistake. We also recommended at the end of this research, to consider students' perspectives due to their main role in the learning process
