La globalizzazione giudiziaria

La globalizzazione \ue8 un fenomeno che interessa, anche se in varia misura, tutte le societ\ue0 contemporanee e la giustizia non poteva certo starne fuori. L\u2019impatto dei processi di globalizzazione sui sistemi giuridici era gi\ue0 stato da tempo segnalato, ma solo in parte ci si \ue8 soffermati sul ruolo giocato dall\u2019attore giudiziario. Per comprendere a fondo i processi di globalizzazione giuridica, \ue8 per\uf2 necessario rivolgere lo sguardo anche ai giudici, che non possono pi\uf9 essere considerati dei semplici esecutori passivi di regole giuridiche stabilite altrove. Le crescenti interrelazioni fra i sistemi giudiziari nazionali e il nuovo rilievo assunto da organi giudiziari soprannazionali disegnano nuovi scenari, caratterizzati da una maggiore complessit\ue0 dei processi di decisione politica. Da ci\uf2 derivano certamente nuove opportunit\ue0, ad esempio per i gruppi che all\u2019interno dei sistemi politici nazionali si trovano in posizione di svantaggio. Ma anche il rischio che il processo decisionale alla fine risulti meno trasparente e meno responsabile. In tutto ci\uf2, l\u2019Europa \u2013 colta in un momento di transizione ad un nuovo e ancora non ben definito assetto \u2013 si trova a confrontare la concorrenza particolarmente forte del mondo di common law. Two-photon laser spectroscopy of Ce3+ in LiYF4

One-color two-photon excitation spectra of the 4f1 → 5d1 transitions of Ce3+ in LiYF4 have been investigated at 5 K from 33 400 to 44 000 cm−1. A sharp lorentzian line peaking at 33 439.4 cm−1 with a width of 2.6 cm−1 is observed on the low energy side of a band extending up to 35 200 cm−1. The line and the band are observed to exhibit different polarization dependences. A second band with a maximum peaking around 41 977 cm−1 is observed to extend from 40 000 up to 44 000 cm−1. No sharp line associated to this band is seen

Influence of looping mechanisms in up-conversion processes in Yb-Tm-Ho doped Gd3Ga5O12

Anomalous excitation profile and its relationship to multiple dopant sites in (Nd, Cr) YAlO3_3

Excitation spectra of (Nd$^{3+}$, Cr$^{3+}$)YAlO$_3$ are presented which show anomalous profiles. We demonstrate that these anomalous lineshapes can be explained by a combination of three physical mechanisms: the existence of several inequivalent Nd sites, the existence of significant energy transfer from Cr$^{3+}$ to Nd$^{3+}$ and strong absorption of the excitation beam by Nd$^{3+}$ ions. Reasons for residual asymmetry in excitation profiles are discussed with particular emphasis on a Fano effect
