Handschrift als venster op de menselijke motoriek
This article presents at an introductory level the many possibilities for scientific research into handwriting production. Several kinematic measures are explained and it is demonstrated how they could be helpful in discriminating between authentic and forged samples of script
Reaction time, movement velocity and other kinematic features of handwriting: Challenges for forensic analysis
It is argued that digitising tablets and dedicated software for analysing graphic behaviour can be helpful in developing an empirically tested theory of the nature of handwriting forgeries. Some key data are presented as to the discrimination between authentic and imitated handwriting. Finally, some of the implications of neuromotor noise theory by Van Galen and Van Gemmert are discussed in the context forensic research themes
