This research describes how the Development Strategy of Tourism Object Basa Pagaruyung Palace at Tanah Datar Recency. This study also look at the constraints faced by local governments in the development of tourism. The theory used in this study is the management strategy, in particular Lina and Lena theories, and to determine appropriate strategies to address the problem. On the issue of tourism in Tanah Datar required appropriate strategies to address the problems that exist to increase visits to the tourist sector revenue in developing regional tourism. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used through interviews, observation, and documentation as well as the selection of literary study with informants with snow ball sampling while the unit of analysis of this study is that the institution Department of Tourism Culture and Sports, as well as to test the validity of data trianglasi to check the degree of confidence behind a information.Based on the theory used for the analysis it can be concluded that the problems in setting the strategy for tourism development are yet to be adequately addressed, the Government only prioritize the development Pagaruyuang Palace which still continues today, so that there is a problem during the development of tourism be resolved. Such a strategy also has reason because of limited funds and the government itself does not have a master plan for the development of tourism to be more focused and able to compete with other regions so many investors are willing to cooperate with the Government of Tanah Datar, in addition to the cooperation between the government, the public, and also stake holders as executor in the field should cooperate with each other. In addition, Tanah Datar also does not have PHRI (Persatuan Hotel dan Restoran Indoesia) and ASITA (Asosiasi Tourisme Indonesia) to oversee the development of regional tourism in Tanah Datar. Keywords: Strategy, Tourism Developmen

In the modern soccer era, soccer is already considered as an entertainment, even modern soccer already become as an industry or a business that considered can bring a great profit to the club owner. One of the most important factor in building a team is young age soccer player development. Right young age soccer player development method, can be very helpful in establish a good team. A professional team must have acoach, for the first team or junior team. The duties of a coach is determine a right position for soccer player in the game, this duties sometimes make a coach is hard to making a right decision. This research will discussabout how to design a decision support system for determine soccer player using naive bayes technique. Data mining used naive bayes technique for find a prediction for soccer player based on the player skill test result. From this research result, it can be seen that by using decision support system using data mining with naive bayes technique can be help coach performance in determine position for soccer player especially for young age soccer player development so that can help coach in the making right decision effectively and efficiently

Subdistrict of Pinggir is a government agency that has the main task to organizing public services. Public service as something that associated with fulfillment of expectations /needs of the public, which is quality service is can provide products dan services in accordance with needs and expectations of public. In fact there are still complaints from the public which is there are still people whowait because service schedule is not on time, facilities is inadequate. As for the purpose of this research is to find out about quality of public service in Subdistrict of Pinggir. Concept of theory that researcher uses is service quality according To Ratmintos theory, there are indicators affect the quality of service which is completion time of service, cost of service, procedure of service, and facilities. This research is using qualitative research method and evaluating data with descriptive method, collecting data with interview technique, observation, and documentation from research informants. This research aimed to study the supplementation effects of mangosteen pericarp meal (MPM) and vitamin E (VE) in the diets on the egg quality and blood profile of laying hens. This research used 160 laying hens of Lohman strains 24 weeks of age. The observation was conducted for 11 weeks. A completely randomized design with four treatments and four replications (10 birds each) was used in this experiment. The treatments consisted of R0 (control diet), R1 (R0 + 1 g MPM/kg ration), R2 (R0 + 2 g MPM/kg ration) and R3 (R0 + 200 mg VE/kg ration). Variables measured were egg quality, yolk cholesterol, and blood profiles. The data were analyzed by using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and any significant difference between the treatment means were further tested by Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that supplementation of 1 g MPM/kg ration in the diet significantly (P<0.05) decreased blood triglycerides compared with the control, laying hens fed with diet suplemented with of 2 g MPM/kg ration, and laying hens with diet suplemented with 200 mg VE/kg ration. Supplementation of MPM and VE did not affect (P>0.05) egg quality (except shell thickness), blood cholesterol, and HDL, respectively. In conclusion, supplementation of 1 g MPM/kg in the diet of laying hens could decrease blood triglycerides

The supermassive black hole and double nucleus of the core elliptical NGC5419

We obtained adaptive-optics assisted SINFONI observations of the central regions of the giant elliptical galaxy NGC5419 with a spatial resolution of 0.2 arcsec (≈55\approx 55 pc). NGC5419 has a large depleted stellar core with a radius of 1.58 arcsec (430 pc). HST and SINFONI images show a point source located at the galaxy's photocentre, which is likely associated with the low-luminosity AGN previously detected in NGC5419. Both the HST and SINFONI images also show a second nucleus, off-centred by 0.25 arcsec (≈70\approx 70 pc). Outside of the central double nucleus, we measure an almost constant velocity dispersion of σ∼350\sigma \sim 350 km/s. In the region where the double nucleus is located, the dispersion rises steeply to a peak value of ∼420\sim 420 km/s. In addition to the SINFONI data, we also obtained stellar kinematics at larger radii from the South African Large Telescope. While NGC5419 shows low rotation (v<50v < 50 km/s), the central regions (inside ∼4 rb\sim 4 \, r_b) clearly rotate in the opposite direction to the galaxy's outer parts. We use orbit-based dynamical models to measure the black hole mass of NGC5419 from the kinematical data outside of the double nuclear structure. The models imply MBH=7.2−1.9+2.7×109_{\rm BH}=7.2^{+2.7}_{-1.9} \times 10^9 M⊙_{\odot}. The enhanced velocity dispersion in the region of the double nucleus suggests that NGC5419 possibly hosts two supermassive black holes at its centre, separated by only ≈70\approx 70 pc. Yet our measured MBH_{\rm BH} is consistent with the black hole mass expected from the size of the galaxy's depleted stellar core. This suggests, that systematic uncertainties in MBH_{\rm BH} related to the secondary nucleus are small.Comment: Accepted for publication in MNRA

The Effect of Ladder-Bar Shape Variation for A Ladder-Secondary Double-Sided Linear Induction Motor (LSDSLIM) Design to Cogging Force and Useful Thrust Performances

    Get PDF
This paper describes an investigation on the variation of the magnetic circuit of LSDSLIM (Ladder Secondary Double-Sided Linear Induction Motors) for the ladder-bar shape effects of cogging action and useful thrust. The comparisons are based on the Maxwell Stress method and FE method. The background of this investigation is related to that there are conflicts between the air gap length and cogging force and useful thrust for the Linear induction motor design with ladder secondary. Therefore, as the first stage of the design, the objectives are to investigate the minimum cogging forces and maximum useful thrust for the ladder shape effect. The methodology of investigation is based on the variation of the tooth width and the slot width of stationary part for the variation of the shape of ladder-bars. The tooth width and the slot width of moving part remain constant. The two laddershaped which are investigated include trapezoidal ladder bar and rectangular ladder bar. In each shape, the variation of the ratio between the tooth width and the slot width of ladder bar is conducted, and the maximum magnitude of the cogging action and magnitude maximum of useful thrust are investigated. The goodness of this procedure is the ratio between cogging action to useful thrust. This investigation shows that the trapezoidLadder Bars can decrease the magnitude of the Cogging Action in linear induction motor until 2.5% compared to the rectangular ladder-bars, and the thrust does not decrease in significant value
