    Desarrollo y validación de la escala de relajación-mindfulness para adolescentes (EREMIND-A)

    Indexación: Scopus.Background: The aim of this investigation was to validate the Relaxation- Mindfulness Scale for Adolescents (EREMIND-A), consisting of 18 items and three factors (Attention-Concentration in the present moment; Relaxation (abilities and attitudes); and Sensory awareness/Contemplation/ Interiority). Method: The validation was done with a sample of Secondary Education and Baccalaureate students from four different centres in Spain (n = 1.120). EFA and CFA of the EREMIND-A were performed and construct and incremental validities calculated. Results: Initial results confi rm the validity and reliability of the scale. Conclusions: There is a need for a broader conceptualization of mindfulness, as well as the inclusion and analysis of other related and cross-cutting concepts. The research in this sense will propitiate the adaptation of the Mindfulness- Based Interventions to the reality of the adolescents in the educational centers, where relaxation and the interiority are aspects to be taken into consideration. © 2018 Psicothema.Antecedentes: el objetivo de esta investigación fue validar la Escala de relajación-Mindfulness para Adolescentes (EREMIND-A), que contiene 18 ítems y tres factores (Atención-Concentración en el momento presente; Relajación (habilidades y actitudes); Consciencia Sensorial/Contemplación/Interioridad. Método: la validación se realizó con una muestra de estudiantes de Educación Secundaria y Bachillerato de cuatro centros diferentes en España (n = 1.120). Se realizaron análisis factoriales exploratorios y confirmatorios de la escala y se calcularon la validez de constructo e incremental. Resultados: los resultados iniciales confirman la fiabilidad y validez de la escala. Conclusiones: es necesaria una conceptualización más amplia de la atención plena, así como la inclusión y análisis de otros conceptos relacionados y transversales.     Performance of a day/night water heat storage system for heating and cooling of semi-closed greenhouses in mild winter climate

    A novel system for heating/cooling greenhouses based on air/water heat exchangers connected to a thermally stratified water storage tank was tested in a small greenhouse compartment at the Experimental Station of the Cajamar Foundation in Almería, Spain. The system maintained a closed greenhouse (no natural ventilation) throughout the winter and spring during which a truss tomato crop was grown. Atmospheric CO2 concentration could be maintained during the daytime allowing for greater net photosynthesis in relation to a reference greenhouse in which traditional natural ventilation was used to control temperature and humidity. Three fine wire heat exchangers (Fiwihex®) were installed 1 m above the crop when at full development. The heat exchangers allowed for a very efficient transfer of the sensible and latent heat accumulated in the compartment. During the winter, the daytime temperatures were maintained below the ventilation set point (30°C). During the night, the system was able to maintain temperatures above the heating set point (12°C), with stored warm water temperatures between 15 and 17°C after clear days. After cloudy days, with water temperatures between 11 and 13°C, the system could always keep a temperature gradient with the exterior of 4-6°C, enough to maintain greenhouse air temperatures above 8°C the entire night. When seasonal night air temperatures exceeded the heating set point, the hot water at the top of the tank was cooled to the wet bulb temperature by means of an open cooling tower. The cooled water was used for cooling the greenhouse, which allowed for closing the greenhouse for a longer period. The water condensate during the cooling mode, allowed for a high water saving and maintained the relative humidity very constant during the day (around 80%). During the night, humidity was kept at 90% without ever reaching saturation

    An economic model was developed as a key component of a model-based method to design greenhouses for a broad range of climatic and economic conditions. This economic model was linked to an existing greenhouse climate-crop yield model to calculate the annual Net Financial Result (NFR) of a greenhouse. The aim of this study was to identify – among ten predefined design alternatives – the greenhouse with the highest annual NFR for tomato production under southern Spanish conditions. The basic designs were either the parral greenhouse, or a multi-tunnel, possibly fitted with any combination of heating, fogging and CO2 enrichment. Results demonstrated that the multi-tunnel, fitted with only a fogging system was most profitable, followed by the multi-tunnel with heating, CO2 enrichment and fogging. However, the difference in NFR between such a design and a simple parral was small with respect to the difference in investment. A sensitivity analysis of the NFR of the two technology extremes shows that tomato price, the fraction of marketable yield and the Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) transmission of the cover had the largest bearing on NFR. With increasing technology level, the NFR depended less on outdoor climate and more on tomato price. This indicates that a low-tech greenhouse diminishes the risk of variations among price paths in different years, whereas a high-tech greenhouse covers better the “weather risk”. The best design was also affected by climate management and the joint impact of climate modification techniques.     En este trabajo se realiza una exhaustiva descripci&oacute;n de la horticultura de invernadero, fruto del inter&eacute;s de la Consejer&iacute;a de Agricultura, Pesca y Desarrollo Rural de la Junta de Andaluc&iacute;a por conocer la evoluci&oacute;n tecnol&oacute;gica del sector hort&iacute;cola de Almer&iacute;a. Gracias a la colaboraci&oacute;n de la Fundaci&oacute;n Cajamar y a estudios similares promovidos con anterioridad por ambas instituciones, se ha logrado documentar la evoluci&oacute;n y tendencias tecnol&oacute;gicas m&aacute;s recientes del sistema de producci&oacute;n de hort&iacute;colas protegidos de la provincia de Almer&iacute;a. Esta publicaci&oacute;n forma parte del proyecto &lsquo;TRANSFORMA-Desarrollo sostenible en cultivos hort&iacute;colas protegidos&rsquo;, que viene ejecutando el Instituto de Investigaci&oacute;n y Formaci&oacute;n Agraria, Pesquera y de la Producci&oacute;n Ecol&oacute;gica, como herramienta de transferencia de conocimiento y tecnolog&iacute;a a los profesionales del sector. La publicaci&oacute;n se estructura en cinco cap&iacute;tulos. El primero, que introduce el proceso de elaboraci&oacute;n y la metodolog&iacute;a empleada en este estudio, el segundo trata la caracterizaci&oacute;n de las explotaciones hort&iacute;colas y sus titulares. Los temas relativos al invernadero son desarrollados en el tercer cap&iacute;tulo, incluido el equipamiento para el control de clima y el riego. En el cuarto, quedan reflejados los medios de protecci&oacute;n de cultivos, la mano de obra y la maquinaria y por &uacute;ltimo, se analizan los cultivos hort&iacute;colas representativos del sistema productivo de invernadero de la provincia.</p
