    Employabilité et formation (classique versus en alternance) : étude structurale d’une représentation sociale

    Cette étude vise à définir le contenu et la structure de la représentation sociale de l'employabilité, à la lumière de la théorie du Noyau Central. Nous nous sommes plus particulièrement intéressées à l'effet de pratiques différentes liées à la formation : nous avons par conséquent comparé deux populations, l'une suivant une formation classique, l'autre suivant une formation en alternance. Nous avons repéré le contenu de la représentation sociale grâce à la méthode I.S.A. (Induction par Scénario Ambigu). Il s'avère que les deux populations ne partagent pas la même représentation de l'employabilité : si la capacité d'adaptation est un élément central pour les sujets en formation classique, la représentation de l'employabilité des sujets en formation en alternance est gérée par l'élément expérience professionnelle. En revanche, l'importance de l'existence et de l'utilisation d'un réseau de connaissances est commun à nos deux populations. Ces résultats sont discutés à la lumière de la question du lien pratiques-représentation, souligné par les théoriciens du Noyau Central.The aim of the study was to define the content and the structure of the social representation of employability, supporting by the Central Core Theory. Particularly, we focused our interest on the effects of the social conducts linked to the nature of the vocationnal training. So, we compared two populations : one following a classical vocationnal training, the other following an alternate vocationnal training. The results showed these two populations differed from the representation of employability. Adaptation appears to be central in the representation for the classical vocation­nal training subjects; whereas professional experience seems to be central for the alterrzate vocationnal training subjects. These results are discussed in ternis of the social conducts — representation links, as suggested by the Central Core theorists

    Three Decades of Research on Induced Hypocrisy: A Meta-Analysis

    International audienceInduced hypocrisy is a sequential, two-step, cognitive dissonance procedure that prompts individuals to adopt a proattitudinal behavior. The present meta-analysis of 29 published and nine unpublished induced-hypocrisy studies enabled us to test three key dissonance-related issues. First, is hypocrisy effective in promoting change in behavioral intention and behavior? Our analyses supported the idea that hypocrisy (vs. control) increased both behavioral intention and behavior. Second, does hypocrisy generate psychological discomfort? Results pertaining to this issue were inconclusive due to the small number of studies measuring psychological discomfort. Third, are both steps necessary to generate change? Effect sizes conform to the idea that the transgressions-only condition can increase both behavior and intention. Our meta-analysis raises a number of theoretical issues concerning the psychological processes underlying induced hypocrisy and highlights implications for practitioners

    International audienceRESUME « Les technologies persuasives » font référence aux technologies de l'information et de la communication utilisées pour changer les attitudes et les comportements (Fogg, 2003). Notre revue de la littérature dresse un bilan des travaux menés en psychologie sociale et interaction homme machine (IHM) relatif à l'influence en contexte médiatisé. Les travaux dans le domaine étant très vastes, notre revue de la littérature porte plus précisément sur les systèmes persuasifs ayant pour objectif de changer les comportements et/ou attitudes en faveur de l'environnement. Cette revue cerne les apports, mais aussi les limites propres aux travaux de ces deux disciplines envers cette thématique. ABSTRACT "Persuasive technologies" refers to the information and communication technologies used to change attitudes and behaviors (Fogg, 2003). Our review of the literature provides a review of the work done in social psychology and human machine interaction (HMI) on the influence applied in mediated context. Given that work in the field is very extensive, our review of the literature focuses more specifically on persuasive systems that aim to change behaviors and/or attitudes towards the environment. This review identifies the contributions but also the limits specific to the work of these two disciplines towards this theme
