    Adsorci贸n de triazinas por quitosana obtenida de residuos de camar贸n empleando una mezcla de cloruro de calcio/metanol/agua como disolvente

    The adsorption capacity of chitosan obtained from shrimp residues against her-bicides of the triazine family was evaluated. The extraction of chitin and itstransformation into chitosan was carried out using: the solvent MAC-141漏patented by Universidad Nacional Aut贸noma de M茅xico (which consists of 1mole of methanol, 4 moles of water, and 1 mole of calcium chloride) ultrasoundand temperature. The characterization of the final compound was carried outby applying elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron mi-croscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and nuclear magnetic resonance. Thechitosan obtained had a percentage of deacetylation in a range of 40-44 %,while the chemical characterization showed that it was possible to obtain a sta-ble compound at temperatures lower than 280 掳C and with pores on the surface.Chitosan was able to adsorb triazines dissolved in water and the process wasfavored at a pH of 3.6 and concentrations close to 1 mg/L.En este estudio se evalu贸 la capacidad de adsorci贸n de la quitosana obtenidade residuos de camar贸n previamente caracterizada frente a herbicidas de la fa-milia de las triazinas. La extracci贸n de quitina y la obtenci贸n de quitosana serealiz贸 empleando: un disolvente patentado por la Universidad Nacional Au-t贸noma de M茅xico, el disolvente MAC-141漏 (este disolvente es una mezclaestequiom茅trica de 1 mol de metanol, 4 moles de agua y 1 mol de cloruro decalcio), ultrasonido y temperatura. La caracterizaci贸n del compuesto final serealiz贸 por an谩lisis elemental, espectroscop铆a infrarroja, microscop铆a electr贸-nica de barrido, an谩lisis termogravim茅trico y resonancia magn茅tica nuclear. Eluso del disolvente MAC-141漏, permiti贸 obtener quitosana con un porcentajede desacetilaci贸n en un rango del 40-44 %, mientras que la caracterizaci贸nqu铆mica mostr贸 que se obtuvo un s贸lido estable a temperaturas inferiores a los280 掳C, con poros en la superficie. La quitosana adsorbi贸 las triazinas disueltasen agua a un pH de 3,6 y concentraciones cercanas a 1 mg/L
