Research into Strategies of Risks in Supply Chain

    Get PDF
Supply chain risk management is one important content in enterprises management. The cooperation between enterprises in the supply chain may be put under risk due to changes of various factors. This paper analyzes the formation of endogenous risk and exogenous risk of supply chain risk and puts forward the the strategies of solving supply chain risk

Field Experimental Study on Corrosion Mechanism of Well Lai 14-9

Casing corrosion is serious and the injection efficiency is considerably low due to high injecting water corrosion in Well Lai 14-9. Casing corrosion mechanism is retrieved through SEM observation, energy spectrum analysis, XRD analysis spectrum, TGA analysis of corrosion fouling. The results show casing corrosion mechanism varies with depths; casing corrosion is the result of the combined action of carbon dioxide, dissolved oxygen, sulfate-reducing bacteria and high salinity. To extend the life of casing, appropriate casing protection measures should be adopted, which can reduces the cost of production of the oilfield.Key words: Corrosion mechanism; Fouling; SEM observation; XRD analysis spectrum; TGA analysi

Inequalities in the transition to homeownership among young people in Scotland

This research was funded by ESRC Secondary Data Analysis Initiative, Grant number ES/K003747/1.Homeownership levels among young adults in the UK are declining. This paper compares youth transitions to homeownership in Scotland during the 1990s and 2000s by examining the roles of both personal and parental socio-economic characteristics and local house prices. It demonstrates demographic diversity among young people, with gender and partnership status interacting to shape their transitions to homeownership. The findings reveal that, although single women are less likely than single men to become homeowners, women are more likely to make the transition if they live with a partner. For all young adults, patterns of advantage and disadvantage are defined by personal resources and parental background. While many of these inequalities have persisted over time, the distance between the most and least advantaged has widened, new inequalities have emerged and local housing markets have come to play a greater role for some.Publisher PDFPeer reviewe

Cu2O Heterojunction Solar Cell with Photovoltaic Properties Enhanced by a Ti Buffer Layer

In this study, semiconductor oxide cuprite (Cu2O) and indium tin oxide (ITO) heterojunction solar cells with and without a 10 nm thick titanium (Ti) thin film as the buffer layer were fabricated and characterized for comparison. The Cu2O film was formed by low-cost electrodeposition, and Ti and ITO layers were deposited on a glass substrate by sputtering. The interfacial microstructures, surface topology, and electrical and photovoltaic properties of both solar cells were investigated. The test results showed that the Ti buffer layer changed the surface morphology, resistivity, and contact potential of the electrodeposited Cu2O film. With these changes, the photovoltaic performances of the Cu2O/Ti/ITO solar cell including open-circuit voltage (VOC) and short-circuit current (ISC) were all enhanced compared to the Cu2O/ITO solar cell, and the power conversion efficiency was improved from 1.78% to 2.54%. This study offers a promising method to improve the efficiency of Cu2O-based solar cells for sustainability in material resource, environment and eco-system, and energy production
