    Semangat kerja menjadi isu yang cukup relevan dalam konteks kualitas kinerja guru. Isu yang sedang berkembang di masyarakat, memberikan pembenaran bahwa kualitas kinerja guru di Indonesia cukup memprihatinkan. Beberapa studi menunjukkan bahwa guru tidak dapat mengembangkan dirinya karena kesempatan dan kondisi sekolah yang tidak memungkinkan untuk mengembangkan kualitas kerja. Suasana kerja dianggap menjadi salah satu penyebab semangat kerja guru kurang optimal. Permasalahan yang juga muncul adalah masih rendahnya penghargaan yang diberikan kepada guru. Penghargaan baik finansial maupun non finansial sering terabaikan. Penghargaan berupa pujian yang tulus atau umpan balik yang segera dan tepat dari pimpinan jarang diterima guru apabila melaksanakan pekerjaan dengan baik. Komunikasi yang terjadi antara guru dengan siswa, guru dengan guru dan guru dengan kepala sekolah turut mempengaruhi kualitas kerja guru di sekolah. Hal ini berarti suasana komunikasi organisasi memiliki peranan terhadap semangat kerja guru.\ud Atas dasar itu, maka rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh suasana komunikasi organisasi terhadap semangat kerja guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Percobaan I Malang.\ud Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh suasana komunikasi organisasi terhadap semangat kerja guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Percobaan I Malang.\ud Berdasarkan kajian pustaka beberapa literatur, maka hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah Ho: Suasana Komunikasi Organisasi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap semangat kerja guru di SDN Percobaan I Malang dan Hi: Suasana Komunikasi Organisasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap semangat kerja guru di SDN Percobaan I Malang\ud Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian ini merupakan explanatory research, yaitu rancangan penelitian yang berusaha menjelaskan hubungan kausal antara variabel satu dengan variabel lainnya dengan melalui uji hipotesis (Sangarimbun, 1889). Jenis penelitian ini dipilih mengingat tujuan yang hendak dicapai mencakup usaha-usaha untuk menjelaskan hubungan dan pengaruh yang terjadi antar variabel dalam hal ini adalah variabel suasana komunikasi organisasi dengan semangat kerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data angket (kuesioner) sebagai alat pengukur data primer.\ud Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Percobaan I Malang sebanyak 30 guru, dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan total sampling sehingga semua guru dijadikan sampel yaitu sebanyak 30 guru.\ud Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan setelah dilakukan analisa maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara suasana komunikasi semangat kerja guru sebagai buktinya R2 (R Square) = 0,501 dapat dikatakan bahwa 50,1% perubahan variabel semangat kerja (Y) disebabkan oleh perubahan variabel suasana komunikasi (X).     Low Immunity Response in the Elderly

    Aging is related to a number of changes in the immunity function, mainly the reducing of Cell Mediated Immunity (CMI). The immunocompetence of elderly worsen with age including the rate of immune respons against infection. It means that older people have a high risk of getting diseases such as infection, cancer, cardiovascular, autoimmune disorder, or other chronic diseases. All of these diseases occured in elderly due to the immunoglobulin production decrease. Thus, vaccination given to elderly often might not be effective against diseases. Older people who commonly suffer from a decrease of macro and micronutrients will have a low function and response of the immune system. Therefore, malnutrition cases in elderly should have early specific attention including consideration in given vaccination for preventing diseases. Infectious diseases mostly suffered by older people can be prevented or reduced through improving nutrition efforts because the immune system will be improved. If the immune function of the elderly can be improved, the individual quality of life increases and the health cost can be suppressed.&nbsp

Dalam menanggapi persaingan yang ada PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Kantor Cabang Semarang menggunakan strategi pemasaran yang mencakup segmenting, targeting, positioning serta marketing mix. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah metode deskriptif yaitu tulisan yang berisikan paparan dan uraian tentang suatu obyek sebagaimana adanya pada saat penelitian. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisa data kualitatif yaitu teknik analisa data yang penganalisaannya dilakukan dengan memberi penjelasan mengenai gambaran peristiwa yang terjadi terutama berkaitan dengan strategi pemasaran Tabungan Batara Prima. Tabungan Batara Prima adalah tabungan yang prioritas utamanya untuk investasi. Tabungan Batara Prima memiliki fitur yang spesifik yaitu pihak bank akan memberikan bonus bunga 1,5% kepada nasabah yang tidak melakukan penarikan dana selama dua bulan. Dalam memasarkan Tabungan Batara Prima PT.     Osteoporosis and its risk factors among Javanese elderly.Background: Osteoporosis is marked by the reduction of Bone Mass Density caused by multifactor. Osteoporosis is often found among elderly people, and at present still a problem in public health. At present data on prevalence of osteoporosis among Javanese elderly is not available. The objective of the study was to analyze the prevalence of osteoporosis among the elderly Javanese with its risk factors.Method: The risk of osteoporosis was measured by using Sahara Clinical Bone Sonometer, and T<-2.5 score was the criteria of osteoporosis.Result: The study showed that osteoporosis in the rural was lower than in the urban. Osteoporosis proportion among females was twice bigger than males. There was osteoporosis proportion development based on age group. Level of education, physical activity and occupational activity were related to osteoporosis. Respondents with low level of education had the mean and osteoporosis proportion higher than those with high/middle level of education. Percentage of osteoporosis among elderly with low level of physical and occupational activity was also higher than those who had high level. Calcium and protein intakes had no relevance withosteoporosis occurrence.Conclusions: Rural and urban areas, sex, age, level of education, work status, and weight are osteoporosis risk factors. Sex was the main osteoporosis determinant in this study

    Training Effect on Improving Cadres\u27 Knowledge and Skills of Obesity and Hypertension in Older People

    Poor skill of cadres on nutritional status assessment in older people with disability should be increased. BMI (body mass index) Meter tool has been developed to predict the nutritional status of the elderly. Interpretation of the measurement results in the form of nutritional status i.e. underweight, normal, overweight, and obesity need to be followed up with preventive efforts. Most nutritional problems which faced by elderly are obesity and hypertension. Therefore, obesity and hypertension counseling training for cadres posbindu and community health center staff was needed. The aim of this study is to assess the training effect on knowledge and skills in counseling obese and hypertension of elderly related to results of nutritional status asseesment of elderly using BMI Meter. Quasi-experimental design used in the study towards 38 cadres from 21 posbindus and 7 community health centers&rsquo; staffs in Depok City. The study results showed that most respondents knew the function of BMI Meter was to measure the predicted height of elderly with physical limitations at post-test (90%). Majority respondents aged between 40-49 years (42.2%) graduated from high school/vocational school (46.7%). At post-training, &nbsp;knowledge score increased almost 15 points and knowledge score at pre-training had significant difference with post-training (p = 0.000). Respondents whose previous nutrition and health training had significant difference with knowledge (p = 0.002). It also supported by increase their ability to conduct obesity and hypertension campaigns for elderly during twice observation field visit. Almost all respondents were able to counsel well in the delivery of media content sistematically and in interesting way. It was concluded that knowledge and skills can be improved through training and post training retention

    We prove the existence of a linear isometric correspondence between the Banach space of all symmetric orthogonal forms on a JB^*-algebra J\mathcal{J} and the Banach space of all purely Jordan generalized derivations from J\mathcal{J} into J\mathcal{J}^*. We also establish the existence of a similar linear isometric correspondence between the Banach spaces of all anti-symmetric orthogonal forms on J\mathcal{J}, and of all Lie Jordan derivations from J\mathcal{J} into J\mathcal{J}^*

    Increased Posbindu cadres knowledge and skills on elderly predicted height measurement, balanced nutrition and hypertension education among elderly in Grogol Petamburan Subdistrict, West JakartaBackground: One strategy to increase the coverage of the elders' visit to elders integrated service post (Posbindu) by conducting a training on improving the skills of cadres. They have tasks to measure height, weight and provide nutritional counseling for elderly. Many elderly can not be measured in standing height due to paralysis, disability and stooped due to kyphosis and osteoporosis. The results of the nutritional status assessment of elderly should be followed up by balanced nutrition and hypertension education. Theaim of study was to test the effect of training on the knowledge and skills of Posbindu cadres in predicted height and balanced nutrition counseling of elderly.Method: Study design was quasi-experimental one group pretest posttest towards 41 respondents (36 Posbindu cadres and 5 staffs of community health center) at Grogol Petamburan Subdictrict who have been trained previously. Knowledge were measured with a pre-post test questionnaire and the skills of cadres were observed for 3 months post-training using the checklist form.Result: Mean score of knowledge had significant difference between before and after training (p=0.000) and its increased by 22 points. There was significant difference between cadres skills before and after training in predicted height and balanced nutrition education (p=0.000). The level of cadres' skills on moderate and high had significant difference after training.Conclusion: Cadres training improves performance of Posbindu cadres
