Novel Technique for Comprehensive Noise Identification and Cancellation in GSM Signal

    Get PDF
Presence of noise significantly degrades the contents being transmitted over GSM channel. With the evolution of next generation of communication system, the challenges in noise cancellation in voice along with data transmission are not being addressed effectively by existing filters. Therefore, the proposed system offers a mechanism where emphasis is laid on identification of superior and inferior forms of GSM transient signal followed by cancellation of its noise level. Designed using analytical methodology, the proposed system harness the potential of probability theory to perform a modeling that associates allocated power of the transmitting device with the level of noise. The outcome of the study is found to offer a comprehensive identification of different forms of noise and can precisely determine the level of superior and inferior quality of signal. The outcome significantly assists in designing an accurate filter for noise cancellation in GSM signal

A novel and integrated architecture for identification and cancellation of noise from GSM signal

There are multiple reasons for the evolution as well as the presence of noise over transmitted GSM signal. In spite of various approaches towards noise cancellation techniques, there are less applicable techniques for controlling noise in acoustic GSM signal. Therefore, the proposed manuscript presents an integrated modelling which performs modelling of noise identification that could significantly assist in successful noise cancellation. The proposed system uses three different approach viz. i) stochastic based approach for noise modelling, ii) analytical-based approach where allocated power acts as one of the prominent factors of noise, and iii) wavelet-based approach for effective decomposition of GSM signal for assisting better noise cancellation technique followed by better retention of signal quality. Simulated in MATLAB, the study outcome shows that it offers a cost-effective implementation, A Practical Approach for Noise identification, and Effective Noise Cancellation with Signal quality retention. The proposed system offers approximately 24% of enhancement in noise reduction as compared to any existing digital filters with 1.6 seconds faster in processing speed

    Get PDF
Nowadays, socializing of humans with pet animals has increased. The pet animals are treated as a part of the family and the physical interaction hasalso improved owing to the fact that the infected animals are not easily identifiable at an early stage and children are more prone to get infected. Thisleads to the necessity for monitoring and analyzing the behavior of the pet animals. The current trend is moving toward smart homes as the camerasare getting cheaper and easily available. The vision-based approach is one of the solutions to identify the behavioral changes of the pet animals. In thispaper, the study on behavioral analysis of dogs and cats as pet animals is reviewed.Â

Background: Short term as well as long term effects of GDM on both the mother and the child are preventable if screening and diagnosis are done at an early stage. Efforts have been made to try and identify clinical and biochemical markers that could predict GDM. Ferritin, an acute phase reactant is one such protein. This study was undertaken to know if there is an association between serum ferritin level and GDM in pregnancy. Methods: A prospective study conducted in the Department of OBG, ESIC-MC-PGIMSR from January 2020 to June 2021. 388 gravid women satisfying the inclusion criteria were enrolled for the study after obtaining an informed written consent and maternal serum ferritin was assayed between 24 to 28 weeks of gestation and was statistically analysed. Results: Both group demographic characters were matched and they were also matched for Hb% thereby eliminating anaemia, a confounding factor for the study. The mean serum ferritin level in GDM group was 46.4 ng/ml and in non-GDM group was 37.3 ng/ml (p<0.001). With ROC (Receiver operator characteristics curve) the cut off value of serum ferritin is 34.7 ng/ml with 95% CI, with sensitivity of 71% and specificity of 63%. Conclusions: In this study S. ferritin value of >34.7 ng/ml at 24-28 weeks of gestation, there is 63% risk of developing GDM. Thus, we conclude that elevated serum ferritin level could be used as a biochemical marker for prediction of GDM

Teaching is considered both an art and a science.  Successful and effective teaching requires two basic things.  The teacher should be competent to teach the subject allotted to him/her at the same time he/she should follow new techniques of teaching to make the learning fruitful and interesting. The traditional methods of technology have failed to generate the required behavioural outcomes, abilities and skills needed to facilitate the learning of curricular subjects. Knowledge of the recent development will help the teacher in making his/her teaching more effective and increase his/her efficiency for class room functioning.  Such a background will solve classroom problems, enable him/her to organize teaching activities and select instructional design and teaching models and innovative techniques appropriate for his/her classroom situation.  All innovative strategies and techniques, it should give enough scope for developing learning environment among students. Processing information is the main concern of any teacher.  If the information is processed effectively, learning techniques should be right and they should meet the individual needs of all learners and so the teachers should adopt a model of teaching which would be flexible and interactive.  The information processing approach technique in teaching chemistry was effective in Higher Secondary School classes. Implementation of this approach provided a great opportunity, to students to take an active part in the process of learning.  Through the information processing approach the achievement of student was enhanced to a great extent. Keywords: Information, Processing, Model, Chemistry
