Relaxed Lagrangian duality in convex infinite optimization: reverse strong duality and optimality
We associate with each convex optimization problem posed on some locally
convex space with an infinite index set T, and a given non-empty family H
formed by finite subsets of T, a suitable Lagrangian-Haar dual problem. We
provide reverse H-strong duality theorems, H-Farkas type lemmas and optimality
theorems. Special attention is addressed to infinite and semi-infinite linear

Moduli of -covers of curves: geometry and singularities
In a recent paper Chiodo and Farkas described the singular locus and the
locus of non-canonical singularities of the moduli space of level curves. In
this work we generalize their results to the moduli space of curves with a -cover for any finite group . We show that
non-canonical singularities are of two types: -curves, that is singularities
lifted from the moduli space of stable curves, and
-curves, that is new singularities entirely characterized by the dual graph
of the cover. Finally, we prove that in the case , the -locus is
empty, which is the first fundamental step in evaluating the Kodaira dimension

Eight new records for the Eriophyid (Trombidiformes Eriophyoidea Eriophyidae) mite fauna of Iran
Trees from Juglandaceae, Ulmaceae, Salicaceae, Leguminosae and Betulaceae were sampled during two growing seasons, 2010 and 2011, in the southwest region of East Azerbaijan province, Iran, in order to survey their eriophyid mite fauna. Among identified taxa, eight species appeared to be new for the Iranian eriophyid fauna: Coptophylla lamimani (Keifer, 1939b), Stenacis palomaris Keifer, 1970, Shevtchenkella juglandis (Keifer, 1951), Anthocoptes striatus Ponomareva, 1978, Aculus mogeri (Farkas, 1960), Aculops unguiculatus (Nalepa, 1897), Aculops allotrichus (Nalepa, 1894) and Tegolophus califraxini (Keifer, 1938). Supplementary descriptions were given for Sh. ulmi (Farkas, 1960), A. striatus, A. mogeri, A. unguiculatus and A. allotrichus. In this study, Alhagi maurorum Medik (Leguminosae) and Fraxinus angustifolia Vahl. subsp. angustifolia (Oleaceae) were reported as new host plants for A. allotrichus and T. califraxini, respectively. Analysis of Minimal LDPC Decoder System on a Chip Implementation
This paper presents a practical method of potential replacement of several different Quasi-Cyclic Low-Density Parity-Check (QC-LDPC) codes with one, with the intention of saving as much memory as required to implement the LDPC encoder and decoder in a memory-constrained System on a Chip (SoC). The presented method requires only a very small modification of the existing encoder and decoder, making it suitable for utilization in a Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform. Besides the analysis of the effects of necessary variable-node value fixation during the Belief Propagation (BP) decoding algorithm, practical standard-defined code parameters are scrutinized in order to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed LDPC setup simplification. Finally, the error performance of the modified system structure is evaluated and compared with the original system structure by means of simulation
