    IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN LIFE SKILL DI PESANTREN PERTANIAN DARUL FALLAH BOGOR

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pendidikan life skill di pesantren pertanian Darul Fallah Bogor dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan life skill di pesantren pertanian Darul Fallah Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan life skill di pesantren pertanian Darul Fallah melalui dua pendekatan: 1) Pembenahan sistem pendidikan yang menerapkan kurikulum integratif, Kemenag, kemendiknas, keterampilan lokal (materi pertanian, peternakan, perikanan, teknologi tepat guna dan lain-lain) dan kurikulum pesantren, dengan sistem pembelajaran yang memadukan teori dan praktik, 2) Melalui program-program khusus kepesantrenan yang menunjang dalam mengembangkan skill santri pada aspek: (a)personal skill, (b)sosial skill, (c)academic skill, (d)vocational skill. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan pendidikan life skill di pesantren Darul Fallah diantaranya, 1) faktor pendukung: visi dan falsafah kehidupan pesantren, tersedianya guru yang kompeten/ahli, sarana prasarana yang memadai, dan hubungan kerja sama yang baik dengan pihak pengusaha/UKM. 2) faktor penghambat: perbedaan mindset santri, kerusakan pada sarana, dan minimnya alokasi waktu (jam belajar) disebabkan formalitas pendidikan dengan berbagai suprasystem yang ada

    This research is motivated by the views of the people who think that the Qibla direction for the cemetery only faces west and uses estimates only. In generally, the purpose of this study was to determine the Qibla direction of Muslim graves. As for specifically knowing: 1) Measurement of the Qibla direction of Muslim graves. 2) The accuracy of the measurement results of the Qibla direction of Muslim graves. This research is limited to the Muslim cemetery in Dusun Pendamar Teluk Pakedai. The method used is a qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The primary data sources were the Village Head, Imam of the Ilaluddin Mosque, and the Tomb Manager in Pendamar Hamlet, Sungai Deras Village. Secondary data sources are obtained from documents, journals, and others. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collection tools used were rashdul kiblah, cameras, recording devices, and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The last step is checking the validity of the data by using data triangulation and member check. This study concludes that: 1) To measure the Qibla direction of Muslim graves in Pendamar Hamlet, the community has carried out an estimation method, following the direction of the mosque's Qibla, and following the tombs that have been there before, and using a compass by facing right to the west. 2) All Muslim cemeteries that have been measured by the people of Dusun Pendamar use the approximate method, and follow the old grave, which is 2760 58' 29.27”, shows a very large deviation from the actual Qibla Azimuth which is 2920 48' 50.5”.     Milk kinship and the maternal body in Shi’a Islam

    In Islamic law, kinship is defined by consanguineal and affinal relationships. Birth and Islamic marriage are important events that define religious responsibilities of family members towards each other. Some responsibilities are connected to Mahramiyat, a framework of interpersonal relations that regulates marriages and interactions with the opposite sex. Besides consanguineal and affinal bonds, mahramiyat and kinship can also be established through breastfeeding. The relationship formed through breastfeeding is called milk mahramiyat/kinship. It is spoken of in the Quran and hadith and has been extensively discussed in Islamic Feqh. This study investigates Shi'i guidelines on milk kinship. My interest is in the exploration of existing gendered rulings on the conditions of milk mahramiyat/kinship in Shi'i jurisprudence. The analysis aims to bring forth discussions on the significance of breast milk and the maternal body, and to investigate how milk kinship is framed within the patrilineal system of kinship in Shi'a Islam. The findings discuss rulings on the role of milk-mother and -father in the way kinship takes effect. While patrilineal kinship is often defined based on a paternal 'milk line', the study suggests that alternative readings and interpretations of the Quran and hadith are available that centralize the mother and the maternal body

    Ischemic cardiomyopathy revealed by central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO)

    Here we report a case of central retinal artery occlusionrevealing an ischemic cardiomyopathy. A 54-year old smoker man presented at the hospital because of sudden visual loss in his left eye. There was cherry-red spot in the macula in his left eye. We performed a fluorescein angiogram and cervical color Doppler.     Enhancing Religious Behavior and Well-being in Elderly Through Majelis Taklim Al-Sulthan: A Case Study

    Abstract: This study investigates the role of Majelis Taklim Al-Sulthan in improving religious behavior and mental well-being among elderly participants. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research delves into the methods and processes used by Majelis Taklim Al-Sulthan and identifies the factors that support and hinder its effectiveness. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with religious leaders and elderly participants, and documentation of spiritual activities. Findings reveal that Majelis Taklim Al-Sulthan significantly enhances elderly individuals' religious behavior through educational programs on Islamic teachings, supports social cohesion, and addresses mental health issues. The study underscores the importance of such institutions in providing spiritual and social support to older people, contributing to their overall quality of life. Limitations include the study's focus on a single location and its qualitative nature, suggesting a need for broader research. Recommendations include developing policies and programs to sustain and enhance Majelis Taklim's role in supporting elderly individuals. Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Majelis Taklim Al-Sulthan dalam meningkatkan perilaku keagamaan dan kesejahteraan mental di kalangan lansia. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi metode dan proses yang diterapkan oleh Majelis Taklim Al-Sulthan serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat efektivitasnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh agama dan peserta lansia, serta dokumentasi aktivitas keagamaan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Majelis Taklim Al-Sulthan secara signifikan meningkatkan perilaku keagamaan lansia melalui program pendidikan tentang ajaran Islam, mendukung kohesi sosial, dan menangani masalah kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya lembaga semacam ini dalam memberikan dukungan spiritual dan sosial kepada lansia, yang pada gilirannya berkontribusi pada kualitas hidup mereka secara keseluruhan. Keterbatasan studi mencakup fokus pada lokasi tunggal dan sifat kualitatifnya, yang menunjukkan perlunya penelitian lebih luas.
