    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Fisika Siswa di Mts Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru

    Abstrack: This research aimed to describe and find out the improvement of the students motivation learning on physic by applying problem based learning model. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, with nonequivalent control group design. The subject of this research is students class VIII at MTs Diniyah Pekanbaru, total of 41 students as divide into two class, experimental class and control class. The data in this research is a score of motivation before and after learning physics by implementation of problem based learning and analysis of the data uses descriptive analysis. Then, measured the improvement of the students motivation by normalized gain (gain-N). The result of this research, score motivation of students at experimental class in high category and increase in the middle category with N-Gain 0,46, and the control class in the middle category with N-Gain 03. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of problem based learning able to improve the motivation of students on physic at MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Psikomotor Fisika Siswa Kelas X SMA Seri Rama Ylpi Pekanbaru

    This study is aims at determine learning outcome physic students psychomotor skills application Discovery Learning model at class X Seri Rama YLPI senior high school at Pekanbaru using model Discovery Learning at geometrical optics materials. The research was conducted from March 2015 through June 2015 by 38 research subjects at X1 as experimental group and 27 students at Xz as control group in Seri Rama YLPI senior high school at Pekanbaru. This research is a form of pre-experimental design Intact Group comparasion. The research instrument is physic psychomotor skill achievment test arrange of application aspect adaption. Psychomotor skills learning outcomes studied cover aspects of reading tools, measuring angles with a bow, and planned experiments obtained absorption with good category for its effectiveness in class experiments and categorized effective, whereas for the control class obtained absorption with good enough category and for its effectiveness categorized enough effective. The result of the research indicated of 79,9% absorption of learning at good category in experimental group while 63,2% at good enough category in other group. Thereby concluded that the application Discovery Learning model can improve students physic psychomotor skill in class X Seri Rama YLPI senior hihg school at Pekanbaru

    Congruences for rational points on varieties over finite fields

    We prove the existence of rational points on singular varieties over finite fields arising as degenerations of smooth proper varieties with trivial Chow group of 0-cycles. We also obtain congruences for the number of rational points of singular varieties appearing as fibres of a proper family with smooth total and base space and such that the Chow group of 0-cycles of the generic fibre is trivial. In particular this leads to a vast generalization of the classical Chevalley-Warning theorem. The above results are obtained as special cases of our main theorem which can be viewed as a relative version of a theorem of H. Esnault on the number of rational points of smooth proper varieties over finite fields with trivial Chow group of 0-cycles

    Pengaruh Non Performing Financing Pembiayaan Mudharabah dan Non Performing Financing Pembiayaan Musyarakah terhadap Profitabilitas pada Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia

    This study aimed to know the influence of non performing financing in Mudharabah system and non performing financing in musyarakah system toward the profitability of the the Islamic banks. A financing channeled to customers potentially leads to financial problems. Financing problematic in the Islamic banks can be seen from the level of non performing financing. The data used in this study was the secondary data in the form of annual financial report in islamic banks during period 2009 up to 2013. The method of data analysis used in this research was multipel linier regression analysis. The samples taken were 33 of data includes 8 Islamic banks during the period of 5 years. The samples taken by using the purposive sampling technique. The results showed that simultan eously non performing financing Mudharabah and non performing financing Musyarakah affected on the profitabilty og Islamic banks, while partially non performing financing mudharabah didn't affect negatively, but positively affected financing with the significance 0,018 and non performing financing musyarakah didn't affect the profitability of Islamic banks.     Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran SETS dan STS Terhadap Peningkatan Literasi Sains Siswa

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian randomised gropu comparison design yang dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA di kota Kupang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan literasi sains siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran SETS lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran STS. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA, dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling yaitu siswa kelas XI MIA2 yang berjumlah 36 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran  STS,  sedangkan  siswa  kelas  XI  MIA3   yang  berjumlah  35  siswa  sebagai  kelas eksperimen 1 menggunakan model pembelajaran SETS. Kemampuan literasi sains siswa dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari instrumen tes soal literasi sains. Aspek literasi sains siswa yang diteliti meliputi mengidentifikasi isu atau permasalahan ilmiah, menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah dan menggunakan bukti ilmiah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t diperoleh bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran SETS lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran STS yang dibuktikan dengan thitung = 3,664 > ttabel = 1,832 pada taraf signifikan 0,05%

    Perilaku Pustakawan dalam Memberikan Layanan Turnitin di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar

    This article discusses the behavior of librarians in providing Turnitin services and the behavior of librarians in responding to problems with Turnitin services. This research used descriptive qualitative research. The approach used in this research was a case study to examine a case in the context of the reality of life, including the behavior of librarians at the Unismuh Makassar Library Unit environment. Based on the research results, it was found that (1) the behavior of librarians at the Unismuh Makassar Library Unit found in this research includes aspects (a) attitude, (b) greeting behavior, (b) responding behavior, (c) disciplined behavior, (d) responsibility; and (2) How do librarians behave in responding to problems with Turnitin services at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar Library Unit, including (a) Facility Constraints. The facility aspect was one of the obstacles found. This can be seen in the Turnitin service, which is still combined with other services due to limited space. and (2) User Constraints caused by users (students) taking Turnitin are pressed by the deadline for fulfilling graduation requirements. Another obstacle in this aspect is that users manipulate the Scientific Papers files that Turnitin will check. The research implies that librarians are required to improve service behavior with a positive image at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar Library Unit and instill awareness in students about the importance of the originality of scientific work by providing advice, holding training, workshops, and seminars related to writing good scientific papers correctly or efficiently to reduce plagiarism results
