Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja dan Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dengan Disiplin Kerja Sebagai Mediasi (Studi kasus Di Lingkungan Kantor Kecamatan Junrejo Kota Batu)
The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the effect of work motivation on work discipline, to test and analyze the effect of competence on work discipline, to test and analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance, to test and analyze the influence of competence on employee performance, to test and analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance, to test and analyze the effect of work motivation through work discipline on employee performance, to test and analyze the effect of competence through work discipline on employee performance. This research is a quantitative research using explanatory research. The results showed that: (i) Work motivation had a significant effect on work discipline. (ii) Competence had a significant effect on work discipline. (iii) Work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. (iv) Competence has a significant effect on employee performance. (v) Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. (vi) Work motivation through work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. (vii) Competence through work discipline has no significant effect on employee performance.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Motivasi kerja terhadap disiplin kerja, Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi terhadap disiplin kerja, Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, Untuk menguji dan menganalisispengaruh Kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai, Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Motivasi kerja melalui disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, Untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi melalui disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan penelitian eksplanatori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (i) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja.. (ii) Kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. (iii) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. (iv) Kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. (v) Disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. (vi) Motivasi kerja melalui disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. (vii) Kompetensi melalui disiplin kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawa
Artificial intelligence applications in cardio-oncology: Leveraging high dimensional cardiovascular data
Growing evidence suggests a wide spectrum of potential cardiovascular complications following cancer therapies, leading to an urgent need for better risk-stratifying and disease screening in patients undergoing oncological treatment. As many cancer patients undergo frequent surveillance through imaging as well as other diagnostic testing, there is a wealth of information that can be utilized to assess one's risk for cardiovascular complications of cancer therapies. Over the past decade, there have been remarkable advances in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze cardiovascular data obtained from electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, computed tomography, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging to detect early signs or future risk of cardiovascular diseases. Studies have shown AI-guided cardiovascular image analysis can accurately, reliably and inexpensively identify and quantify cardiovascular risk, leading to better detection of at-risk or disease features, which may open preventive and therapeutic opportunities in cardio-oncology. In this perspective, we discuss the potential for the use of AI in analyzing cardiovascular data to identify cancer patients at risk for cardiovascular complications early in treatment which would allow for rapid intervention to prevent adverse cardiovascular outcomes
Evaluation of Morphological and Mitochondrial Alterations of Mouse Fetus after Exposure to Methyl tert-butyl Ether: Effect of MTBE on Fetus Mouse
Although the biokinetics, metabolism, and chemical toxicity of methyl tert-butyl ether are well known, little attention was paid to the potential toxic effects of MTBE on reproduction and development in mammals. To evaluate the effects of MTBE on pregnant animals, two groups (control and test) of NMRI mice were chosen. In test group 500 and 1000 mg/Kg of it were administered intraperitonealy at 11 days of gestation and in control group no injection was made. Caesarean section was performed at 15 days of the gestation, and the fetus and placentas were examined externally. Based on our morphological results, MTBE caused significant increase (p < 0.05) in the weight of fetuses and the weight of placentas, the diameter of placentas and crown-rump length of fetuses. Also, our mitochondrial results showed significant (p < 0.05) increase in mitochondrial swelling, ROS formation and also significant (p < 0.05) decreased in MMP on mitochondria isolated from liver and brain in test group. These results suggest that MTBE through ROS formation may induce the mitochondrial dysfunction which in turn leads to inhibition of angiogenesis and morphological alterations in fetus of mouse
