A REPRESENTAÇÃO SOCIAL DA ECONOMIA SOLIDÁRIA

Este artigo apresenta a discussão sobre como os participantes dos empreendimentos solidários da cidade de Curitiba/PR construíram suas Representações Sociais da Economia Solidária. Estas práticas solidárias estão gerando novas formas de entendimento sobre o consumo e a produção. As Representações Sociais procuram decodificar os símbolos que aparecem no cenário social. Enquanto sistemas de interpretações, as representações sociais conduzem arelação com o mundo e com os outros, orientando as condutas e as comunicações sociais. A Economia Solidária, para os integrantes da proposta, é uma mescla de organização econômica e social. Os padrões de produção e consumo procuram se diferenciar do modelo existente pelavalorização da pessoa, recriando novos significados para o trabalho e a própria economia

A INFLUÊNCIA DA FORMAÇÃO UNIVERSITÁRIA DOS ESTUDANTES DO CURSO DE ADMINISTRAÇÃO A DISTÂNCIA DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE SANTA CATARINA SOBRE A CONSCIENTIZAÇÃO DAS QUESTÕES ECOLÓGICAS E AMBIENTAIS

O objetivo desse estudo foi investigar como os graduandos do Curso de Administração de Empresas da Universidade Aberta do Brasil oferecido pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina entendem a necessidade da abordagem ambiental no seu fazer profissional. Para alcançar o referido objetivo, foi realizada uma pesquisa quantitativa (cujos dados primários foram coletados por meio da aplicação de questionários) e qualitativa (por meio da realização de entrevistas). Para a análise dos dados quantitativos, optou-se pelo uso da estatística descritiva, enquanto o material recolhido por meio das entrevistas contou com a utilização da técnica de análise de conteúdo. Os resultados da análise dos dados referentes à dimensão ecológica-ambiental permitiram verificar que o maior impacto do curso acontece na conscientização dos alunos em relação às questões ambientais, ainda que tutores e coordenadores demonstrem certo ceticismo em relação a isso

Perceptions of waste pickers in an association located in Seridó/RN about the adverse working conditions: An analysis of the collective subject

This paper aims to study the perception of waste pickers, regarding their work conditions, in a recycling association located in the region of Seridó/RN. The study is separated in two parts: firstly, using quantitative data, with extensive and intensive direct observation technique and second, utilizing a qualitative approach, focused in the collective subject discourse and participant observation. To gather the data, a questionnaire was applied with the waste pickers and their daily activities were observed to comprehend the operational process and to accompany the recycle collector activities. It was stated by the interviewees that the main reason to work as waste picker is that they do not want to be unemployed. Regarding their satisfaction, they said that their fulfillment is related with the monthly income. The major problems reported were the low income spared by the association, as well the insalubrity of the activity and preconceptions. With respect their plans, the majority affirmed that need to continue working at the association, then it is possible to affirm that, their future, is conditioned with the possibility of raising their monthly benefit. Finally, although the positive law development and the income shared by the Association, there is a long road to cross in order to create mechanisms to guarantee decent jobs, socioeconomic inclusion and quality of life for them. 

Waste pickers associated: problematic of working conditions in an organization located in the State of Rio Grande do Norte – Brazil

This study aims to evaluate the adverse working conditions of waste pickers in an association placed in Rio Grande do Norte state’s countryside. The research was carried out through questionnaires, documentary analysis and observed the collective operational processes in such association. The research techniques were systematic observation, allied to techniques of extensive direct observation and indirect documentation. Overall, 11 workers are associated to this organization; ten of them are directly immersed in the productive processes while one person is the association’s president. Regarding occupational hazards, these workers were exposed to all environmental risks (physical, ergonomic, accident, biological and chemical ones). With respect to diseases, cutaneous dermatitis, disc herniation, respiratory dysfunctions, leishmaniasis, tetanus and bursitis were identified. Regarding mitigation measures, it is suggested the labour formalization, PPRA and PCMSO creation with training sessions, risk mapping, signalling, use of PPE’s and health assessments. Evaluation system waste management: a case study in a public school in the Seridó/RN region

Este trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar o atual sistema de gestão de resíduos empregado por uma escola pública do município de Parelhas / RN. Para realizar uma pesquisa, foi realizada uma entrevista com a gerência da escola, seguida pela observação das etapas de gerenciamento de resíduos para entender e quantificar uma gestão no período entre junho e dezembro de 2017. Uma técnica de pesquisa foi uma observação sistemática e a observação intensiva direta. Segundo uma observação, grande parte dos resíduos são orgânicos, seguidos por equipamentos secos, elétricos e eletrônicos, construção e demolição e outros resíduos. Quanto ao gerenciamento, uma embalagem de resíduos é feita em recipientes de plástico, protegidos por intempéries, com separação de resíduos.A sinalização dos contêineres era adequada, assim como os locais onde estavam dispostos. O principal destino final dos resíduos é o sistema de gestão pública, no entanto, foram observadas ações de tratamento, como uma composição de parte do lixo orgânico para manutenção da horta escolar, um armazenamento de resíduos na associação de catadores, uma reabilitação de peças e práticas de troca entre órgãos públicos. Por fim, verifique se o sistema de gerenciamento da escola está bem direcionado, embora pequenos ajustes sejam necessários
