PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN WILAYAH PERMUKIMAN DI KELURAHAN NGAGELREJO KOTA SURABAYA   M. Dosen Pembimbing Mahasiswa Abstrak   Kelurahan Ngagelrejo merupakan wilayah dengan tingkat kepadatan permukiman tinggi di Kota Surabaya. Kelurahan ini menarik diteliti karena seluruh tanahnya berstatus milik pemerintah yang legalitasnya dibuktikan dengan adanya surat ijo, namun menjadi permukiman masyarakat umum. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan permukiman serta faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan permukiman di Kelurahan Ngagelrejo. Penelitian kualitatif fenomenologi ini perolehan informasinya ditentukan secara  triangulasi,  data dokumen perkembangan kota Surabaya, serta informan kunci dan ahli. Pendekatan analisis yang digunakan adalah proses keruangan, tetapi analisis dalam bahasan artikel ini terbatas pada proses awal pertumbuhan ruang Kelurahan Ngagelrejo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permukiman mulai terbentuk pada tahun 1957 kemudian mengalami perkembangan sampai tahun 1999. Faktor  yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan permukiman di Kelurahan Ngagelrejo adalah tanah yang murah, kebijakan pertanahan pemerintah yang longgar, serta adanya jaringan keluarga dan pertemanan para pemukim. Perkembangan yang terjadi juga berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan sosial di masyarakat yang menjadikan rendahnya interaksi antar individu maupun kelompok karena tingginya intensitas waktu yang digunakan untuk melakukan kegiatan ekonomi. Serta hilangnya adat istiadat yang telah melekat pada masyarakat.   Kata Kunci: perkembangan, pertumbuhan, permukiman

This paper takes into account the first boarding school have been expanding in Baghdad and being sample to other boarding school in curriculum and system has purposed. That is Nidzamul Mulk boarding school. curriculum and system used refer in modern curriculum , same in technology system or the teach of lesson but al-Qur’an first of orientation. Name of this Nidzamul Mulk boarding school is takes from the leader Nidzam al-Mulk. He is master of dinasti salajikah child ali bin ishaq at-tusi. His father educated Nidzam al-Mulk be hard. Being Nidzam al-Mulk some have high education and be popular about the knowledge. So that’s Nidzam al-Mulk is very popular in that’s countries and high knowledge until he have wanted to building the boarding school

STUDI FENOMENOLOGI: MAKNA LARANGAN-LARANGAN ADAT ADE’ ASSAMATURUSENG DALAM PEMANFAATAN DANAU TEMPE DI KABUPATEN WAJO

The tradition and local wisdom of the Bugis fishermen’s community in the management of Lake Tempe is a visible social reality (phenomenon) in the form of a set of customs called Ade' Assamaturuseng. The purpose of this study is to reveal the meaning (noumena) of the actions of Bugis fishermen in the use of Lake Tempe as a visible reality (phenomena) based on customary local prohibitions called Ade' Assamaturuseng (customs that are obeyed together). The research method used is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach to the perspective of Alfred Schurtz. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The results of the research show that the prohibitions in the Ade' Assamaturuseng custom are the background contexts (because of the motives) for the actions or behavior of fishermen in utilizing Lake Tempe. These actions or behaviors have objective motives (in order motives) so that they contain meaning as in the statements of the research subjects about the custom. In Schurtz's phenomenological perspective, the meaning of fishermen's actions based on the customary prohibitions of Ade' Assamaturuseng, among others; (1) Means as a conservation effort; (2) Means social justice; (3) Meaning as the practice of belief and religion. From the findings, it can be understood that the traditions and local wisdom of Bugis fishermen in the management of Lake Tempe contain the dimensions of values in environmental conservation, togetherness (justice), and culture comprehensively. It can be seen that the behavior of the Bugis fishing community is very respectful of the natural environment as part of their lives and realizes the use of Lake Tempe sustainably and equitably

Settlement Dynamics and Factors Affecting Residence Selection in Population Density Settlements

Settlements are one of the fundamental necessities of life. The functions of settlements go far beyond just providing a place for rest and shelter. Settlements serve as spaces where social interactions occur, relationships between individuals and groups develop, and community identities are formed. Ngagelrejo is located in the densely populated Wonokromo district of Surabaya, and despite its high population density, it is an area that is in great demand for residential purposes. When considering land ownership status, the entire area consists of land without citizen ownership titles, commonly referred to as "surat ijo" or green certificates. The purpose of this research is to understand the reasons why people choose to reside in densely populated areas. The research methodology employed is a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Triangulation and in-depth interviews were conducted to ensure the validity of the data. The results of the study indicate that the choice of living in a densely populated area is primarily influenced by strong family and friendship bonds. The location of the residence is relatively close to workplaces, providing convenience and compatibility with the surroundings. Additionally, the price of land in this area is lower compared to other areas in the city of Surabaya

Penguatan pengetahuan Mitigasi Bencana untuk Siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Dulupi, Gorontalo

Disaster education and mitigation are still ongoing. The importance of disaster knowledge is very important for students. Various efforts have been made to increase knowledge of disaster mitigation for students. One of the efforts made is education in the form of outreach for high school students. The method of implementing community service is by providing material about disasters and their mitigation. Implementation of activities is carried out by preparing, implementing and evaluating the achievements of socialization activities for students. The results of the socialization show that the level of students' knowledge of disaster and mitigation has developed well. Although there are several important notes that must be taken in the future to maximize this socialization activity. This socialization is expected to provide comprehensive implications for students as basic knowledge in reducing the risk of disasters that will occur
