A distribution model for the aerial application of granular agricultural particles
A model is developed to predict the shape of the distribution of granular agricultural particles applied by aircraft. The particle is assumed to have a random size and shape and the model includes the effect of air resistance, distributor geometry and aircraft wake. General requirements for the maintenance of similarity of the distribution for scale model tests are derived and are addressed to the problem of a nongeneral drag law. It is shown that if the mean and variance of the particle diameter and density are scaled according to the scaling laws governing the system, the shape of the distribution will be preserved. Distributions are calculated numerically and show the effect of a random initial lateral position, particle size and drag coefficient. A listing of the computer code is included
Optical and Near Infrared Study of the Cepheus E outflow, a very low excitation object
We present images and spectra of the Cepheus E (Cep E) region at both optical
and infrared wavelengths. Only the brightest region of the southern lobe of the
Cep E outflow reveals optical emission, suggesting that the extinction close to
the outflow source plays an important r\^ole in the observed difference between
the optical and IR morphologies. Cep E is a unique object since it provides a
link between the spectroscopic properties of the optical Herbig-Haro (HH)

FM 047-02: a collisional pair of galaxies with a ring

A supergeometric approach to Poisson reduction
This work introduces a unified approach to the reduction of Poisson manifolds
using their description by graded symplectic manifolds. This yields a
generalization of the classical Poisson reduction by distributions
(Marsden-Ratiu reduction). Further it allows one to construct actions of strict

Paracetamol (or acetaminophen) is employed as analgesic and antipyretic, and theophylline is a bronchodilator drug used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Both drugs are extensively used in pediatrics and their dosage is based on the child's body weight. Due to possible liver toxicity (paracetamol) and narrow therapeutic index (theophylline) it is imperative to carefully select and monitor the dose administered to children.
