Theoretical study of artificial neural networks

The basic structure and definitions of artificial neural networks are exposed, as an introduction to Machine Learning algorithms. The theoretical description is emphasized and representation power of both shallow and deep networks is studied, proving the so called \textit{Universality Theorem}. Then the properties and limitations of learning algorithms are studied. More specifically, the \textit{No Free Lunch Theorem} is presented and proven, and then some recent approaches to the open problem of convergence of Stochastic Gradient Descent applied to neural networks are presented. Finally, a concept of forgetting in neural networks is introduced and some results on this model are given throughout the thesis.Outgoin

Evaluación del sistema de pastoreo implementado en la finca El Establito en el año 2016 vs el sistema trabajado en el año 2015

Trabajo de InvestigaciónEste trabajo fue hecho teniendo en cuenta la necesidad planteada por la administración de la finca El Establito, para identificar frente al proceso de pastoreo implementado en los años 2015 vs año 2016 en adelante, los beneficios y costos generados en cuanto a la producción de leche y reproducción animal de la finca. Dicritical logarithmic foliations

We show the existence of weak logarithmic models for any (dicritical or not) holomorphic foliation F of (C2 , 0) without saddlenodes in its desingularization.
