    Analisis Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMP Kelas VII dalam Memecahkan Masalah Matematika Ditinjau dari Kemandirian Belajar

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berpikir kritis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 2 Weleri sebanyak 32 siswa dengan menggunakan purposive sampling terpilih 2 siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi, 2 siswa dengan kemandirian belajar sedang, dan 2 siswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu angket, tes tertulis, wawancara serta dilengkapi dengan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triagulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi memunculkan keenam indikator berpikir kritis yaitu focus, reason, inference, situation, clarity, overview. (2) siswa dengan kemandirian belajar sedang memunculkan empat indikator berpikir kritis yaitu focus, reason, inference, situation. (3) siswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah hanya memunculkan satu indikator berpikir kritis yaitu focus. (4) Berpikir kritis siswa berkemandirian belajar tinggi lebih baik dari siswa berkemandirian belajar sedang dan rendah dengan rata-rata nilai siswa berkemandirian belajar tingi sebesar 99, siswa berkemandirian belajar sedang rata-rata nilai sebesar 85 dan siswa berkemandirian belajar rendah rata-rata nilai sebesar 27

    Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat berdampak pada seluruh bidang kehidupan, diantaranya adalah bidang pendidikan. Sebagai tolak ukur pengimplementasian Kurikulum 2013, budaya dan TIK menjadi kombinasi yang tepat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika Menara Kudus menggunakan Adobe Flash Professional CS 6 yang efektif pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi 5 langkah-langkah, yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation(Implementasi), danEvaluation (Evaluasi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Media dinyatakan layak berdasarkan validasi ahli media dengan persentase kelayakan 92,4% dan validasi ahli materi dengan persentase kelayakan 93%. (2) Media dinyatakan efektif karena mencakup 3 indikator, yaitu rerata hasil belajar kelas ekperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol, bahwa ada pengaruh positif minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar dengan uji regresi linear diperoleh persamaan regresi  dengan memiliki pengaruh sebesar 40,3 %, dan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan.     KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN SISWA SMP DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL LITERASI MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA TIPE ADVERSITY QUOTIENT (AQ)

    This study describes students' mathematical reasoning abilities to solve mathematical literacy questions on adversity quotient (AQ) type students qualitatively. The researcher collected data from VIII-H class students at SMP Negeri 1 Gemuh, totaling 31 students using purposive sampling with the help of the mathematics teacher's consideration of where to conduct the research. The subjects selected in this study consisted of 6 subjects, namely two subjects with AQ quitters (low), two types of AQ campers (medium), and two types of AQ climbers (high). Data collection techniques used Adversity Response Profile (ARP) questionnaire instruments, written tests, documentation. The analysis technique is done by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use technical and source triangulation. The results showed that 1) students with the AQ climbers type gave rise to five indicators of mathematical reasoning, namely making conjectures, manipulating mathematics, determining patterns to make generalizations, compiling evidence or reasons for correct solutions, and drawing conclusions. 2) students with AQ type campers bring up four indicators of mathematical reasoning, namely making conjectures, doing mathematical manipulation, determining patterns to make generalizations, and drawing conclusions. 3) students with the AQ quitter type are only able to bring up two indicators of reasoning, namely making conjectures and manipulating

    This study examines the problem of learning effectiveness of the out side the box approach in solving creative problems in fifth semester mathematics education students at the University of Semarang in working on geometry problems. The sample technique used is cluster random sampling technique. The hypothesis test used is the one-sided test with the formula t test, completeness test, both tests are used to determine the effectiveness of learning. Based on the results of the study, the researchers draw the following conclusions; 1) Based on the results of this development research, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes in learning the out side the box approach in solving creative problems in mathematics education students in class VA are better than student learning outcomes in conventional learning class VB. 2) Based on the learning outcomes data for class students who use the out side the box learning approach in solving creative problems in mathematics education students seen from the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes achieving completenes

    This study aims to determine the representational abilities of class VIII junior high school students in solving word problems on opportunity material in terms of student learning styles. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research was conducted in class VIII B and VIII E of SMP Miftahul Ulum Boarding School Jogoloyo Demak which were selected based on the results of a questionnaire test. The subjects of this study were selected based on a learning style questionnaire of 60 grade VIII students, 6 students were selected consisting of 2 subjects with a visual learning style, 2 subjects with an auditory learning style, and 2 subjects with a kinesthetic learning style. . The instruments used in this study were a learning style questionnaire test to determine research subjects, math word problems to bring out students' representation abilities, and interview guidelines. The validity of the data uses technical triangulation, namely checking data that has been obtained from the same source using different techniques. The results of the research based on tests and interviews obtained 1) subjects with a visual learning style gave rise to visual representation indicators, and representations of mathematical equations or expressions. 2) subjects with learning styles bring up indicators of visual representation, and representation of equations or mathematical expressions. 3) subjects with kinesthetic learning styles only bring up visual representation indicators
