The purpose of community service is to socialize the use of solar power plants through learning activities (education) and solar power plants training for school students and teachers. The method used in this activity is divided into three stages. In the first stage, field observations were carried out to find problems related to the availability of electrical energy in schools. In the second stage, the implementation of community service includes the delivery of solar panel material with lectures, demonstrations, and the design of solar power plants systems at schools. In the third stage, it is an evaluation or feedback stage by giving questionnaires to participants. The results of this community service activity provide information on understanding solar panels and batteries in the good category. Practical activities need to be taught to student, so solar power plants teaching aids are needed at the school. The team made an educational activity for students, namely a demo of converting solar energy into electrical energy. The implementation of this community service has been carried out well

In welcoming the 21st century, many changes have occurred in various aspects of life, including changes that have occurred in the field of education. One of these changes is the change in the curriculum used as a learning guide in schools. Changes to the Merdeka Belajar curriculum require teachers to follow these changes. However, some teachers are not ready to make and use it. With the PKM training activity on Making Independent Curriculum-Based Learning Tools for Mathematics Teachers, teachers are expected to be able to create independent curriculum-based learning tools and develop learning tools to meet the needs of students in the 21st century. The method for implementing PKM is by collaborating between three parties, namely Universitas PGRI Semarang as the initiator and implementer, as well as LPPM as the party that funds the implementation of PKM, and teachers at PC LP Maarif NU Jepara as PKM targets who will take part in a series of PKM activities. Technically there are 3 stages in implementing PKM activities, namely discussion and coordination to determine problems and plans for implementing activities, implementing PKM activities. From PKM activities, teachers understand more about making independent curriculum-based learning tools, the learning approaches and models used in independent curriculum-based learning tools, and authentic assessments contained in independent curriculum-based learning tools. PKM activities run well and smoothly. The teachers were very enthusiastic in participating in the training activities

The background of this research is students who experience difficulties in solving mathematical problems, students who have not mastered the basic concepts of geometric shapes, learning models have not been able to stimulate students in solving mathematical problems. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of the guided discovery learning model on the ability to solve geometric material problems. This research is an experimental research with a True-Experimental design and uses a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study were fifth grade students consisting of two classes, each consisting of 24 students. The results of this study show the calculation of the average increase in the experimental class and control class, reinforced by the results of the t-test obtaining a significance value of 0.03. Where the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.03 <0.05) then H0 is rejected. So that the guided discovery learning learning model is better than the problem solving abilities of students who take part in conventional learning. Mastery learning in the experimental class with a classical score percentage of 92% and 79% classical value in the control class, so that the guided discovery learning model is said to be effective in improving problem solving abilities

Instruments that are used in measuring student learning outcomes, especially science learning in the competency skills of scientific literacy and critical thinking skills in elementary school students must have adequate quality and eligibility. This study aimed to determine the quality and validity of the science achievement test instrument for class IV SD in learning materials Plants, the Source of Life on earth based on content validity tests. The research includes a quantitative descriptive approach with research subjects namely lecturers, class members, as well as class IV students at SDN 01 Wanurejan. Determining the validity of using the Aiken index to measure the level of validity of each question item. The results of the study show that the analysis of a score of 30 <n ? 50 is in the very good category, so the instrument as a whole has very good content validity, and can be used with a little revision. Meanwhile, the Aiken's index validity test obtained 2 items in the medium validity category and 8 items in the high validity category. Thus, overall the learning outcomes test instrument has good quality and validity so that it is suitable for use in measuring science learning, especially in the aspects of scientific literacy and critical thinking skills
