    Abstrak. Matematika yang bersifat abstrak menjadi salah satu penyebab siswa-siswa pada jenjang pendidikan dasar mengalami kesulitan dalam belajarnya. Anak-anak usia sekolah dasar masih berada dalam tahap berfikir formal, segala sesuatu dihubungkan pada sesuatu yang kongkrit. Pembelajaran matematika yang abstrak menyebabkan siswa SD yang berada pada tahap berfikir konkret memerlukan alat bantu berupa media dan alat peraga yang dapat memperjelas apa yang akan disampaikan oleh guru. Segala aspek yang dapat menunjang terciptanya pembelajaran yang efektif seperti media pembelajaran perlu dipersiapkan guru disesuaikan dengan karakter siswa di kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode documenter. Terdapat beberapa media yang telah diciptakan dan terbukti dapat meningkatkan keaktifan guru dan siswa yang berhasil, serta dapat pula meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Operasi Hitung Dasar Matematika, diantaranya Gambar Tempel Berwarna, Wayang BILBUL,  Mistar Hitung, Alat Peraga Muatan Listrik, Kartu Bilangan, dan Koin Hitung.     Abstract.The purpose of this research to determine the factors affecting student achievement and the most dominant factor, especially in Mathematics Education Program of FKIP in Jember University. The populations of this research were all students of class 2005, 2006, and 2007 at Mathematics Education Program in Jember University that were 318 students, 178students as samples. This research used two variables: the independent variable (intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, methods of learning, teaching methods,use of leisure time, physical learning environment, family economic circumstances, and physical factors) and the dependent variable (student achievement). The collecting technique data used were questionnaires and documentary. Based on logistic regression analysis obtained extrinsic factors, physical learning environment, family economic circumstances, and physical factors having significant influences and the most dominant factor was physical learning environment variables, where as intrinsic motivation factors, learning method, teaching methods, and theuse of leisure time weren’t significantin determining student achievement.     Abstract. The rainbow connection of the graph of G = (V, E) if for each pair of points u and v in G there is a path with points u and v as the end points on each side obtaining different colors, the path is called the rainbow path. The rainbow-connected number graph G is the smallest positive integer such that G has a rainbow connection staining denoted rc(G). While the graph is said to be a rainbow 2-connected staining on G if for each pair of points u and v on the sides there are 2 different paths, with u and v being the end points of each side obtaining different colors and 2 passages can not intersect each other, denoted rc2 (G). Let G be the graph connected with  so that , with d is degrees. Let G be a rainbow   so that where Îş is the number of paths of rainbow connecting every two distinct points in G.     Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Matematika Interaktif Online Classflow Berbantuan Software Geogebra pada Materi Integral Luas Daerah

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran untuk peserta didik SMA Kelas XI materi integral luas daerah berbantuan software GeoGebra. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dan menggunakan model Thiagarajan. Uji coba dilakukan pada 31 peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 1 Jember. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,91 dengan kategori valid ditafsirkan “sangat tinggi†dengan menggunakan uji validitas, uji kepraktisan menunjukkan persentase sebesar 92,64% yang berarti kategori “sangat baik†dengan penggunaan angket respon peserta didik, dan tes efektif menunjukkan hasil 80,65% atau 25 dari 31 peserta didik mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM dengan kategori “Baikâ€. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran matematika interaktif online ClassFlow berbantuan software GeoGebra pada materi integral luas daerah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif dan dapat untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika.       &nbsp

    Berdasarkan hasil PISA, rata-rata skor literasi matematika siswa Indonesia masih rendah yaitu 386 dari 500 skor rata-rata keseluruhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi matematika siswa field dependent (FD) dan siswa field independent (FI) dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA konten Change And Relationship ditinjau dari ketercapaian level literasi matematikanya. Soal PISA konten Change and Relationship berkaitan dengan materi kurikulum yaitu fungsi dan aljabar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 6 SMA Negeri 1 Jember dengan 29 siswa yang terdiri dari 6 siswa field dependent (FD) dan 23 siswa field independent (FI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa level literasi matematika siswa field dependent berada pada level 2 (66,67% atau sebanyak 4 siswa) dan level 5 (33,33% atau sebanyak 2 siswa) serta level literasi matematika siswa field independent berada pada level 2 (13% atau sebanyak 3 siswa), level 5 (69,56% atau sebanyak 16 siswa) dan level 6 (17,4% atau sebanyak 4 siswa)

    Soybean is one of the main food commodities after rice and corn. Tempe is a traditional food made from soybeans. Tempe is widely produced by small and medium industries. This study aims to determine the maximum benefits obtained in the District of Banjar, Banjar City, West Java Province in producing tempe. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach.  By using the probably sampling method, take a random sample. Determination of the sample is taken in 3 tempe productions with different tempe production income. By determining the decision variables, objective functions, and constraint functions by linear programming methods. In Tempe production in the Banjar District, Banjar City, West Java, the maximum profit was Rp. 29.257.080 and the maximum income was Rp. 28.862.790. The maximum profit and income are obtained from a large workforce so that it can produce a lot of tempe production and the cost of depreciation of the tool is small. The more tempe production, the more revenue obtained. &nbsp

    Abstract. Ethnomathematic is a study done for examines how a group of people in particular culture comprehending, expressing and applying the mathematic concept and use on culture which described mathematically by the researcher. The aim of this research for describing kind of ethnomathematic activity of Javanese in Setail Village. This research is a qualitative ethnographic approach. How to capture the subject of research by the snowball technique, that is by looking one by one the subject prior to the data obtained experiencing saturation point and limited to 7 farmers. The result of this research shown there are mathematic applied on farming done by farmer of Setail Village. They are enumerating, counting, measuring, and designing. Rice farmers of Javanese in Setail Village always use the standard size of land area “seprapat bau” to count and measure in a variety of activities such as determining the amount of fertilizer, medicine, seed number, and number of workers. Counting activities shown when the farmer chopping the frequency of fertilization and seed treatment and plant rice. Designing activities shown when farmers designing farming tool called kerek.     Abstract. The sense of sight is very important for human to dalily activities. Learning process needs the sense of sight to recognize beginning of an object and stimulus but different with blind students just use their sense of touch. Therefore blind students using Braille in learning process. This research aims to describe the thinking process of grade nineth blind students in resolving problem cubes and block at SMPLB-A Wildlife Education and Upbringing Jember. Solving the problem is a crucial aspect in the learning process. Solving the problems in this research used Polya's steps such that understanding the problem, making a plan, carrying out a plan, and looking back at the completed solution. The instrument which is used in this research are mathematics problem solving test and in depth interview. Subjects in this research are all students of grade IX SMPLB-A which are two children totally blind. Based on the results of research that both subjects with disequilibrium, assimilation, accommodation and equilibrium when solve mathematics problems but, the emergence of disequilibrium, assimilation, accommodation and equilibrium on each different subjects.     Abstract. This study describes the of critical thinking in solving mathematical problems basen on multiple intelegences. The instruments used are talent tests, math problem test, and interviews. Research subjects are many six students that is of two students with linguistic intelligence from class VIII F, two students with logical mathematical intelligence from class VIII F, and two students with spatial visual intelligence from class VIII A. Based on the results of analysis and discussion can be concluded that students with linguistic and logical mathematical intelligence meets all critical thinking indicators such as focus, reason, inference, situation, clarifity, and overview. Students with spatial visual intelligence meets critical thinking indicators such as focus, reason, inference, situation, clarifity.     Abstract. This study aim to knows the creative thinking in solving the problem of sub-topic of triangle and quadrilateral based on adversity quotient (AQ) of class VII E Junior High School at Nuris, Jember. Data collection methods used in this study are questionnaires, tests and interviews. The instruments used are the Adversity Response Profile (ARP) questionnaire, creative thinking ability test in the form of open matter of triangle and quadrilateral material and interview. Of the population of 24 students VII class E was taken as many as 3 students is students who have high AQ value (climber), students who have AQ value being (camper), and students who have low AQ (quitter). That the climber students in the research more precisely have the creative level according to the transition category from camper to climber, camper students in this study according to the camper student category, but in this research quitter students exceed the category of quitter students, more precisely quitter students in research creative according to the transition category from quitter.   Keywords: Creative thinking, problem solving, adversity quotient
