In the paper, a comprehensive systematic study of different classes of bismuth containing oxide compounds was carried out. The relationship between composition, temperature and concentration regions of existence of stable, specific structure and properties of solid solutions on the basis of vanadates, molybdates, niobates and bismuth was found. The general regularities of synthesis of solid solutions with different variants of solid-phase and soluble methods were determined. On this basis, the optimal conditions for obtaining single-phase materials were formulated. For the first time the temperature and concentration boundaries of the regions of homogeneity and areas of stable existence of polymorphic modifications of solid solutions were defined and/or refined. The structural parameters of the synthesized phases were determined. By the method of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy the nature and features of impedance spectra, the temperature and concentration dependences of electrical conductivity of ceramic materials based on bismuth containing complex oxides were identified

Abaza people, being a part of Adyghe-Abkhaz ethnic group, live in the Northwest Caucasus. In the second half of the XIX century there was a relocation of a large group of Abaza to the territory of the Ottoman Empire; an important cause of migration was the religious factor. The best preserved Abaza diaspora today is living in Turkey. Compact, ethnically homogeneous settlements of Abaza allowed preserving their language and traditional culture up to the present time; the Islamic factor played a positive role in the consolidation of the overseas Abaza community, though, to some extent, it has led to the phenomenon of a divided nation.Β Speaking about religious life in the Soviet period Abaza from North Caucasus were experiencing the same difficulties as the entire population of the country, but Islam was still the one of the signs of national identity. In the post-Soviet period there was a large-scale appeal to Islam; Islam became a positive factor for the consolidation of the people, maintaining social equilibrium in Abaza community.Β Modern trends in the development of Abaza community allow us to make the assumption that the position and role of Islam will be strengthened. In the current official policy of Turkey, Islam is becoming increasingly important reference point in social development. It is safe to say that communication between Russian and Turkish Abaza communities will continue to develop and in the future it will lead to further strengthening of the position of Islam and the influence of the Islamic factor in the many spheres of Abaza life in Russia. Occasional Collocations in P. B. Shelley’s Poem β€œGinevra”

    Get PDF
The article is devoted to functional-semantic analysis of occasional collocations in P. B. Shelley’s poem β€œGinevra.” The study is carried out in the framework of combinatorial linguistics, which studies the combinatorial and syntagmatic properties of language units. The relevance of the work is associated with the study of atypical, non-usual phrases, which have a rich semantic potential, so that they are a valuable linguistic tool in the creation of artistic and poetic works. The lexical meaning of such units is not fixed in dictionaries and can be defined only within a certain context. The purpose of this article is to reveal the semantics and functions of occasional collocations in P. B. Shelley’s poem β€œGinevra” by means of functional-semantic analysis. Occasional collocations are defined as non-normative combinatorially conditioned, individual-author combinations of words formed on the basis of intentional violation of lexico-semantic compatibility, created by the author once to perform functional and expressive tasks within a particular work. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to study the concept of β€œoccasional collocation,” to identify ways of formation of occasional units and their functional purpose through a comprehensive method of research - functional-semantic analysis

Background. Cornus mas L. is grown in Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Natural thickets are widespread in the Caucasus. The aim of this work was to analyze ecological and biological features of C. mas and the results of its introduction in order to justify the potential of its valuable agronomic traits for breeding and landscaping in Orel Province. Methods and materials. Specimens of C. mas preserved in the arboretum of the Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Breeding since 1968 were analyzed. The studies were conducted from 2012 through 2021. Winter hardiness, plant condition, degrees of flowering and fruiting were assessed using conventional techniques, while the degree of ornamentality was determined according to O. Yu. Emelyanova’s method. Results and conclusion. Under the conditions of the arboretum, C. mas is a multi-stemmed shrub, up to 5.3 m high, with an average crown projection diameter of up to 4.7 m, showing good vitality, active growth, and a high degree of resistance to damaging climatic factors of the winter season. No damage by diseases or pests was observed during the studies. The sum of effective temperatures for the beginning of C. mas flowering was 46.6 Β± 2.0Β°C. Flowering started on April 15 (Β± 7 days). On average, flowering lasted 17 Β± 5 days in the arboretum. Annually, the degree of flowering was high (4.8–5.0 points), and the vigor of fruiting was good (3.8–4.1 points). Peaks of C. mas ornamentality were observed in April, during the early abundant flowering of plants, and in August, during the ripening of fruits. The ornamental period of C. mas was on average 208 (Β± 12) days. The analysis of ecological and biological features of C. mas under the conditions of Orel Province showed the prospects of this species’ introduction. Formation and study of C. mas collection from neighboring regions will serve as a basis for successful breeding to obtain new cultivars with valuable traits for the conditions of Central Russia

The purpose of the research is to develop a methodology for Equiverm-2.0% paste used against equine parasite infections. The methodology provides a brief description of Equiverm-2.0%, mechanism of its action, pharmaco-toxicological properties, application, slaughter terms, and personal safety measures. Equiverm-2.0% antiparasitic paste consists of the active ingredient, ivermectin, and excipients; it is a light cream-coloured paste with a slight pine odor and sweetish taste. The drug is administered orally at a therapeutic dose of 0.2 mg/kg for the active substance. One gram of paste is equal to 1 mL in volume with 20 mg of ivermectin. Ivermectin in Equiverm-2.0% paste is in a dissolved form, and forms an intermolecular complex. The antiparasitic paste is packaged in disposable polyethylene syringe dispensers of 5 or 10 mL, respectively, 4 to 8 g each, per treated horse weighing 400-800 kg. When administered orally, the paste spreads in the oral cavity and the animal eats it with pleasure due to its sweetish taste. The drug is recommended for registration in the Russian Federation

Received: 22.09.2017; accepted: 17.10.2017; published: 20.10.2017.Compositions of composite materials based on BIFEVOX and nanopowders of bismuth and iron oxides have been obtained. The absence of chemical interaction between the components has been proved, the total electrical conductivity of materials in the average temperature region has been determined. It has been shown that under the selected formation conditions, it has not yet been possible to achieve significant improvement of the functional characteristics of heterogeneous compositions in comparison with individual phases. However positive results on chemical and structural stability give way to further investigations. The work was partially supported by the Scholarship of the President (SP-3376.2016.1) and Russian Foundation for Basic Research (project No 17-53-04098)
