T1 Theorems on generalized Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces over spaces of homogeneous type
In this paper we extend the definition of the Besov and the Triebel-Lizorkinspaces in the context of spaces of homogeneous-type given by Han and Sawyer in[HS] . We consider, as a control of the ´local regularity ´ , functions phi(t) more general than the potentials t^alpha used in their case. We also state Tl-type theorems in these spaces. Local maximal functions and operators associated to Laguerre expansions
In this paper we get sharp conditions on a weight v which allow us to obtain some weighted inequalities for a local Hardy-Littlewood Maximal operator defined on an open set in the Euclidean n-space. This result is applied to assure a pointwise convergence of the Laguerre heat-diffusion semigroup u(x,t) = (T(t)f)(x) to f when t tends to zero for all functions f in L p(v(x)dx) for p greater than or equal to 1 and a weight v. In proving this we obtain weighted inequalities for the maximal operator associated to the Laguerre diffusion semigroup of the Laguerre differential operator of order greater than or equal to 0. Interior Lp-estimates and local Ap-weights
Let Ω be a nonempty open proper and connected subset of Rn, n≥3. Consider the elliptic Schrödinger type operator LEu=AEu+Vu=−Σijaij(x)uxixj+Vu in Ω, and the linear parabolic operator LPu=APu+Vu= ut−Σaij(x,t)uxixj+Vu in ΩT=Ω×(0,T), where the coefficients aij∈VMO and the potential V satisfies a reverse Hölder condition. Orlicz boundedness for certain classical operators
Let ɸ and ψ be functions defined on [0,∞) taking the value zero at zero and with non-negative continuous derivative. Under very mild extra assumptions we find necessary and sufficient conditions for the fractional maximal operator M∞Ω, associated to an open bounded set Ω, to be bounded from the Orlicz space Lψ(Ω) into Lɸ(Ω), 0 ≤ α < n. For functions ɸ of finite upper type these results can be extended to the Hilbert transform f on the one-dimensional torus and to the fractional integral operator IαΩ, 0 < α < n. Since these operators are linear and self-adjoint we get, by duality, boundedness results near infinity, deriving in this way some generalized Trudinger type inequalities.Fil: Harboure, Eleonor Ofelia. Inkjet Printing Functionalization of SOFC LSCF Cathodes.
An important segment of the future renewable energy economy is the implementation of novel energy generation systems. Such electrochemical systems are solid oxide fuel cells, which have the advantage of direct conversion of the chemical energy stored in the fuel to electrical energy with high efficiency. Improving the performance and lowering the cost of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are strongly dependent on finding commercially viable methods for nano-functionalization of their electrodes via infiltration. Inkjet printing technology was proven to be a feasible method providing scalability and high-resolution ink delivery. LaxSr1-xCoyFe1-yO3-δ cathodes were modified using inkjet printing for infiltration with two different materials: Gd-doped ceria (CGO) commonly used as ion-conductor and La0.6Sr0.4CoO3-δ (LCO) commonly used as a mixed ionic electronic conductor. As-modified surface structures promoted the extension of the three-phase boundary (TPB) and enhanced the mechanisms of the oxygen reduction reaction. Electrochemical impedance measurements revealed significantly lowered polarization resistances (between 2.7 and 3.7 times) and maximum power output enhancement of 24% for CGO infiltrated electrodes and 40% for LCO infiltrated electrodes

A look at BMOφ(ω) through Carleson measures
As Fefferman and Stein showed, there is a tight connection between Carleson measures and BMO functions. In this work we extend this type of results to the more general scope of the BMOÏ•(ω) spaces. As a byproduct a weighted version of the Triebel-Lizorkin space FË™0∞,2 is introduced, which turns out to be isomorphic to BMO(ω) as in the unweighted case.Fil: Harboure, Eleonor Ofelia.
