In the summer of 2012 and the spring of 2013, a snail survey aimed at determining relationships between the distribution of molluscan fauna, various environmental factors and trematode infection was carried out in the Gharb area, Morocco. The molluscan fauna consisted of eleven species belonging to 6 families, (including 9 gastropods and 2 bivalves). Cercariae belonging to five families were collected. Only Melanopsis praemorsa, Lymnea peregra and Lymnaea truncatula issued the cercariae. No case of mixed-species infections was found. The present study, first of its kind at the Gharb region, paved the way for other studies to know information about the distribution and ecology of freshwater molluscs in the region. Keywords : Cercariae, freshwater gastropods, Trematode infection, The Garb area, Morocco.

The results were used to inventory 47 species divided into 04 classes. Mollusks are the most numerous, with 26 species.Crustaceans representing 33.4% of the population collected. Atyaephyradesmarestii found is the most abundant species (69,4%).This study aims at the realization of a recent taxonomic inventory (2014) wildlife estuarine ecosystem of the mouth of the moulouya (morocco). Teaching has been identified as one of a highly stressful jobs. As known, this job is linked to development of neuropsychiatric. However, there is a little background about the assessment of these problems among Moroccan teachers. This study aims to measure the prevalence of stress, anxiety and depression among 150 newly recruited contractual primary teachers in KHEMISSET city using three international scales. The perceived stress scale (PSS) for stress, the hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS) and The Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) for anxiety and depression. The results show that 95.9% of the teachers are stressed. In contrast, among these teachers newly recruited 94.9% and 72.4% do not suffer from depression and anxiety, respectively. Additionally, there was no significant difference in the stress, anxiety and depression scores between male and female teachers (p > 0.05). The prevalence of stress, anxiety, and depression among newly recruited contract teachers in Morocco, specifically in the context of climate change, can be influenced by various factors. In conclusion, this study suggest that teachers are more susceptible to stress, depression and anxiety and suitable steps should be taken to enhance the mental health of these teachers, thus guaranteeing good quality education

the teaching profession is particularly vulnerable to the development of stress and burnout syndrome, this research is used to adapt the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to members of middle and high schools in Morocco.  This study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) in terms of validity, reliability, and sensitivity. The sample consists of 218 mathematics teachers, working in public schools in the Marrakech-Safi region (Morocco). The psychometric properties were examined by the following analyses: confirmative factor analysis (CFA) to test the validity of theStatistical model, Reliability (Cronbach's alpha), exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to extract factors and complete dimensionality. Cronbach's  reliability analysis gives a value of (0.814), Principal component analysis with varimaxRotation gives three factors and explain 54.22% of the total variance. The three dimensions give values well above the accepted minimum reliability threshold namely (0.847) for emotional exhaustion (0.766) for depersonalization and (0.720) for a sense of personal accomplishment. The overall adjustment of the model and very satisfactory, which affects the (0.71). The results indicate that the main psychometric properties of reliability and validity of the theoretical model of MBI appear to be satisfactory for the study of burnout syndrome in the cultural context of Moroccan teachers

Professional hazards, particularly psychosocial risks that are likely to affect teachers' physical and mental health, are a particular concern in the education sector. It is in this context that this research work lies to evaluate the psychosocial risks encountered by secondary school mathematics teachers in Safi city (Morocco). Indeed, it is a cross-sectional descriptive study based on a questionnaire that compiled socio-demographic and professional data as well as the psychometric variables of the French version of the KARASEK questionnaire. The latter has three components, namely psychological demand (PD), decision latitude (DL), and social support (SS). The sample consisted of 218 teachers, ranging from 22 to 61 years old, and the participation rate was 72.66%. The sex ratio was 1.5, out of which 61% were males surpassing that of women, 39%. The prevalence of stress risk variables was 98%, 79%, and 4% for high PD, low DL, and low SS, respectively. While Isostrain prevalence was detected only in 2% of instances, job strain was present in 77% of them. It is trusty to mention that men are proven to be more exposed to the lack of social support, “Job-strain” and isostrain than women. Indeed, they experience stress at work, thus demonstrating that psychosocial risks are significant occupational exposure for teachers. These results promote the development of prevention means to improve working conditions and protect the teachers’ well-being.
