    Improving Students\u27 Ability In Writing English Teaching By Using Portfolio Assessment (An Experimental Study At SMKN 1 Blangpidie)

    The objective of this study is to investigate whether the improving students\u27 ability in writing English teaching by using portfolio assessment. The method is used in this research is pre-experimental with one-group pre-test and post-test design. The population of this research was all grade X SMKN 1 Blangpidie. However, the sample of this research consisted of 30 students of the grade using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were test. The data of the research were collected through tests (Pre-Test and Post-Test). The pre-test was given before treatment and post-test was given after treatment. The data collected from pre and post-tests were analyzed by using t paired sample test through SPSS 16.00 shown that sig (0.000 < 0.05). The results found implementation portfolio assessment improve students\u27 writing skill. Therefore, the hypotheses of this study were accepted. There were significant improvement of students\u27 writing skill by using portfolio assessment. It can be concluded that the used of portfolio assessment increase students\u27 writing skill

    PENDIDIKAN AKHLAK PADA GENERASI MILENIAL ABSTRAK Generasi milenial merupakan generasi yang lahir pada tahun 80 sampai 2000 an, sehingga pada saat ini generasi milenial telah memasuki pada Era Digital yang menjadi generasi dominan pada bidang pendidikan. Generasi milenial mempunyai tantangan dalam bidang pendidikan yang kompetitif, oleh sebab itu generasi milenial harus mempunyai tindakan dan peranan yang baik dan mempersiapkan Skills serta kemampuan’ baik prestasi akademis maupun non akademis. Pendidikan Akhlak merupakan bimbingan terhadap pertumbuhan rohani dan jasmani menurut ajaran Islam dengan hikmah mengarahkan, mengajarkan, melatih, mengasuh dan mengawasi berlakunya semua ajaran Islam. Era milenial muncul setelah era global, seperti pada kehidupan sosial, ekonomi, politik dan budaya, akan tetapi yang paling nampak terlihat adalah perubahan gaya hidup. Generasi milenial yang seharusnya menjadi tokoh dibalik kemajuan bangsa justru muncul dengan prilaku kesehariannya yang mengesampingkan etika dan moral. Pendidikan Akhlak diharapkan mampu berkontribusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut, dengan adanya pendidikan Akhlak diharapkan generasi milenial dapat menghadapi segala jenis tantangan di era milenial. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam Skripsi ini adalah bagaimana pendidikan akhlak pada generasi milenial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian library research, yaitu penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi dengan bantuan bermacam-macam materi yang terdapat diperpustakaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Pendidikan Akhlak Pada Generasi milenial, agar kemudian dapat dijadikan acuan dalam menerapkan pendidikan islam/Akhlak terhadap generasi milenial.     Implementation of portfolio assessment in teaching English writing

    The objectives of this study were to investigate whether the implementation of portfolio assessment improved students’ writing skills and responses. The method used in this research is pre-experimental with a one-group pre-test and post-test design and descriptive analysis of the students’ responses after the implementation of portfolio assessment for teaching English writing. The population for this research was all students from grade X at SMKN 1, in Banda Aceh and the sample was 30 students chosen by a purposive sampling technique. The data was collected through tests (a pre-test and a post-test) and a questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed after the post-test to find out the responses of the students after the teaching-learning process using portfolio assessment for writing. The data collected from the tests was analyzed using a t paired sample test through SPSS 16. The results showed that implementation of portfolio assessment improved the’ writing skills and the responses of the students. Therefore, the hypotheses of this study were accepted. There was a significant improvement in the students’ writing skills and their responses after teaching by using portfolio assessment. It was concluded that the use of portfolio assessment can increase students’ writing skills and their responses

    Animal Protection in the Perspective of Positive Law and Islamic Law: A Study of Elephant-Human Conflict in Aceh, Indonesia

    This article talks about protecting animals from the point of view of positive law and Islamic law. It focuses on elephants and their conflicts with people. Cases of conflict between elephants and humans have continued to increase from 2015 to 2021, reaching 582 cases. This research is a normative legal study, while the approach used is the approach of legislation and Islamic law. The data studied are literature and legal norms related to positive legal rules and Islamic law. This study concludes that the government has made efforts to protect elephants by issuing various laws and regulations, both at the central and regional levels. Positional law regulates and strives for the protection of elephants, such as the prohibition of catching, injuring, killing, possessing, keeping, and even trading them. In addition, the government has taken various steps, including having mutual coordination between related agencies, involving non-governmental organizations and the community, and enforcing the law. Furthermore, to overcome conflicts between elephants and humans in the future, it is necessary to immediately implement policies related to the prohibition of land use around elephant crossings and policies to relocate people close to elephant crossing areas and provide compensation to those who are affected. From the perspective of Islamic law, the protection of animals, including elephants, is part of the benefit based on the Qur'an, hadith, and fatwas of ulemas to preserve nature, which has an impact on human survival

    ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to investigate and explain the form of policies, synergy of government, the appropriateness of policies issued by the provincial and district governments with the authority granted by Act No. 26 of 2007 This research is a normative, legal source material is the primary law materials and secondary legal materials, obtained through field research and library research. Aceh government policies and the policy of local governments has not been able to resolve the border conflict districts. This affects the difficulty of making the border spatial planning policy. Although the provinces and Regency/Municipality in Aceh had formed the Coordinating Agency for Spatial Planning Area (BKTRW), but BKTRW has not functioned optimally. There are no known incompatibilities in spatial planning policy, because local governments are still awaiting the birth of the provincial Qanun. To local governments expected to make policy together adjacent to resolve border issues in spatial planning. Forms of collective wisdom can be shared qanun, joint regulation or collective decisions.
