Poetry not only communicates information but also arouses the readers’ feeling to a thoughtful sense and the life’s perception of the author through parable objects. Poetry could be perceptually prominent if it is expressed through linguistic deviation, which further defined as “foregrounding”. This article is an attempt to provide understandings from the analysis of Shaykh Hamza Yusuf’s religious poems that engage both semantic and sound patterns (phonological) analyses. The semantic level of the poems dealt with metaphorical analysis as realized in several lines that observed the foregrounded words, phrase and sentences which are semantically deviant, and are classifiable into personification and depersonification. At the phonological level, the sounds patterns cover the use of certain sounds found on major lines of both poems, the distribution of similar sound patterns can produce the aesthetic effects, the common observed styles found in Hamza Yusuf’s religious poems are the repetitions or anaphora, assonance, alliteration, rhythmic sounds of the beginning, in- and end rhymes, and the middle rhyme

This research aims to study how far the effect of water stress and organic nutrition types on the pule pandak’s growth. This research was conducted in BPP Mondromino, Village Pokoh Subdistrict Wonogiri, Regency Wonogiri. This research employed Completely Randomized Design consisting of two treatment factors. The first factors : water stress, consists of 3 levels (100% field capacity, 60% field capacity and 30% field capacity). The second factors : organic nutrition (20 ton/ha dose), consists of 4 types (without nutrition, cow nutrition, goat nutrition and compost nutrition). Interaction of water stress and organic nutrition treatments affects high significantly the number of leaves per plant, plant height, and root length, but affects non significantly the leave width and leave weight. The result of observation on 5th month after plant shows that the water stress treatment affects high significantly the number of leaves per plant, leave width, leave weight, plant height, and root length. The result of organic nutrition treatment affects high significantly the number of leaves per plant, leave width, leave weight, plant height, and root length. Interaction of water stress and organic nutrition treatments affects high significantly the number of leaves per plant, leave width, plant height, and root length

Background: Emergency situations can arise from various diverse conditions, can come from natural conditions, humans and technological advances that have an impact on the emergence of disasters, accidents and diseases that threaten life or cause disability. Every individual in the community needs to know the flow of accessibility in an effort to seek help and the steps to provide first aid, so it is very necessary to attend training. This can be done by participating in an algorithm-based accessibility simulation model training. Methods: This type of research is a comparative experimental study with a pretest-post test design with a control group with a cross sectional approach. The respondents involved are special lay people (members of linmas in the city of Surakarta). The sampling technique used was random sampling by spreading invitations to respondents, so that 110 respondents agreed. This research instrument was tested for expert validity, namely practitioners and academics of emergency nursing, totaling 3 people. Data were analyzed by t-test with the help of a computer Results: The results showed an increase in the value of 4.4 from the pretest (Mean = 73.5) and posttest (Mean = 77.9) and the t test results showed the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.00 so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest values. Conclusion: Training with an algorithm-based accessibility simulation model can significantly increase knowledge related to the emergency field. So it needs to be recommended to be carried out gradually, continuously and thoroughly to community members

The objectives of the study were to investigate the effect of agropolitan on the economic development of rural community, through pre and post agropolitan condition study, and agropolitan impact study, then agropolitan analysis and economic analysis. The development of the region through agropolitan in Semarang Regency has a positive impact on the economic development of rural communities. Significantly visible from productivity improvement of 61.3% or 1.36 Ton / Ha. Changes in the way production, handling and marketing of commodities in the region affect the value of production. The most beneficial change is the opening of market access to agricultural products as a result of improvements in transportation infrastructure. Nevertheless, this condition is not optimal yet, so it is recommended that stakeholders of Semarang regency do the improvement of management to integrate all activities in the region in the agribusiness system. Research on the effect of temperature filling tray on the performance of palm kernel oil fractionation unit is aimed to know the temperature variation of filling tray on CPKO fractionation process to yield and iodine value of product. The method of this research was conducted by the treatment of temperature variation of filling tray on CPKO fractionation process (crude palm kernel oil) consisting of four levels ; T1: 27,0 - 27,2 oC, T2: 27,3 - 27,5 oC, T3: 27.6 - 27.8 oC, T4: 27.9 - 28.1 oC. The product results from the treatment of temperature variation in the filling tray then in the analysis of rendement and iodine value. The data obtained is followed by statistical analysis to determine whether there is influence of the treatment. The results showed that the temperature of the filling tray had an effect on the iodine value and rendement. From each treatment Iodine Value  is still within the company standard of <6.5 meq / kg of oil. Temperature of filling tray with range between 27,3 - 27,5 oC (T2) is optimal for palm kernel oil processing process with quality FFA <3% which yield Stearin with iodine number 6,31 meq / kg oil, olein with Iodine number 23.00 meq / kg of oil, and stearin yield of 31.04%

Correlation between Exercise Frequency and Blood Pressure in the Elderly in Bantul, Yogyakarta

Background: It is a well established knowledge that the risk of high blood pressure (hypertension) increases with age, but getting some exercise can make a big difference. If an individual blood pressure is already high, exercise can help the individual control it. Regular physical activity makes heart stronger. A stronger heart can pump more blood with less effort. If heart can work less to pump, the force on the arteries decreases, lowering your blood pressure. Health experts advise that regular exercise for the elderly offers great benefits, including extending lifespan. This study aimed to estimate the correlation between exercise frequency and blood pressure in the elderly in Bantul, Yogyakarta. Subjects and Method: This was a cross sectional study conducted in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on April 2-16, 2016. A sample of 38 elderlies was selected for this study by random sampling. The independent variable was exercise frequency. The dependent variable was blood pressure. The exercise frequency was measured by questionnaire. Blood pressure was measured by sphygmomanometer. The correlation between variables was measured by Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: There was negative correlation between exercise frequency and blood pressure. An elderly who often had exercise tended to have a lower blood pressure. Conclusion: Exercise is negatively correlated by blood pressure in the elderly. Keywords: exercise, blood pressure, elderl
