    Protección contra el ruido de las unidades generadoras de diésel en un territorio residencial de construcción

    Introduction: The article deals with the issues of protection against noise and vibrations of engineering equipment, which spread into the residential area through ventilation shafts, and the problems of bringing noise to standards during the operation of diesel generators. The purpose of this work was the development and implementation of methods and means to reduce the vibration levels of the walls of the technological room in which the diesel generator set was installed. Materials and Methods: The article presents studies using computational and graphical and resonance and statistical methods. Measurements of the noise level from the operation of a diesel generator located on the site of the residential buildings under consideration, as well as in residential premises, were carried out. Results and Discussion: The estimated calculation showed that the noise levels on the territory do not meet the requirements of sanitary standards. The results of measurements of the sound pressure level before and after noise protection measures for an individual living space gave an assessment of the qualitative and quantitative ratio of the accepted and new types of measures and materials. Conclusions: The effectiveness of vibration isolation of engineering equipment depends on the applied vibration isolation scheme; the wrong choice of vibration isolation scheme can lead to an uncontrolled increase in the amplitude of vibrations of the foundation of engineering equipment. To eliminate low frequencies, it is necessary to install vibration isolating supports under the foundation of the diesel generator set.Introducción: el artículo trata los problemas de protección contra el ruido y las vibraciones de los equipos de ingeniería, que se propagan al área residencial a través de los pozos de ventilación, y los problemas de normalizar el ruido durante la operación de los generadores diesel. El propósito de este trabajo fue el desarrollo e implementación de métodos y medios para reducir los niveles de vibración de las paredes de la sala tecnológica en la que se instaló el grupo electrógeno diesel. Materiales y Métodos: El artículo presenta estudios utilizando métodos computacionales y gráficos y de resonancia y estadísticos. Se realizaron mediciones del nivel de ruido de la operación de un generador diesel ubicado en el sitio de los edificios residenciales en consideración, así como en locales residenciales. Resultados y Discusión: El cálculo estimado mostró que los niveles de ruido en el territorio no cumplen con los requisitos de las normas sanitarias. Los resultados de las mediciones del nivel de presión sonora antes y después de las medidas de protección contra el ruido para un espacio habitable individual dieron una evaluación de la relación cualitativa y cuantitativa de los tipos de medidas y materiales aceptados y nuevos. Conclusiones: La eficacia del aislamiento de vibraciones de los equipos de ingeniería depende del esquema de aislamiento de vibraciones aplicado; la elección incorrecta del esquema de aislamiento de vibraciones puede conducir a un aumento descontrolado en la amplitud de las vibraciones de la base del equipo de ingeniería. Para eliminar las bajas frecuencias, es necesario instalar soportes aislantes de vibraciones debajo de la base del grupo electrógeno diesel

    1892’de İsveç Misyonerlik Ahit Kilisesi (Sevenska Missionsförbundet) Sincan, Kaşgar’da yeni bir misyonerlik sahası açmaya karar vermiştir. İlk İsveçli misyonerler burada Ocak 1892’de faaliyetlerine başlamışlardır. Misyonerlik 1912’de, 1938’e kadar tek olan, Kaşgar’da kendi matbaasını kurmuştur. 25 yıllık faaliyeti sürecinde matbaa hem dini hem de dini olmayan binlerce kitabı Doğu Türkçesi (Uygurca) ile basmıştır. Ayrıca, matbaa çeşitli ders kitapları, takvimler, broşürler ve gazeteler basmıştır. Sovyet Rusya’nın Sincan üzerinde 1930’lardaki etkisinden önce İsveçli misyonerlerin eğitim ve kültür faaliyetleri, özellikle de modern matbaaları, Çağdaş Uygurcanın gelişimi üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olmuştur. Bu, 20. Yüzyıl Uygur kültür tarihinde önemli bir başarı olarak görülmektedir. Bu yayınlanan eserler tek başına kalmış bu Doğu Türkçesi dilinin modern bir dil olmasını sağlamıştır. Pekçok İsveçli Doğu Türkçesi uzmanı dil ve edebiyat çalışmalarıyla Sincan’daki edebi ve eğitim aktivitelerine katkıda bulunmuştur. Gustaf Raquette (1871-1945), Gustaf Ahlbert (1884-1943), Sigfrid Moen (1897-?), Oscar Hermansson (1889-1951) ve önde gelen İsveçli Türkolog Gunnar Jarring aktif bir biçimde Uygurca dil ve kültür çalışmalarını yürütmüşlerdir. Onların bu ilgisinin bir sonucu da İsveç’teki kimi kütüphanelerde ve arşivlerde bulunan Oryantal el yazmalarını toplamalarıdır. Birçok kişi tarafından bilinmese de bu yazmalar uluslar arası Oryantal Çalışmaları açısında son derece önemlidir. Bu makale, çağdaş standart edebi Uygurcanın dilsel ve sosyokültürel gelişimini ve bunun 20. Yüzyılın başındaki İsveçli misyonerlerle olan yakın ilgisini ele almaktadır. Aynı zamanda bu çalışma Modern Uygurcanın gelişimindeki edebi eserlerin ve İsveçli misyonerlerin nasıl bir etkide bulunduğunu da açıklamaktadır. Bir başka deyişle, bu çalışma Doğu Türkçesi ile basılmış eserlerin dil özellikleri ile onların modern standart edebi Uygurca ile ilişkilerini vurgulamaktadır. Bu basılı eserlerin fonetik, leksik ve gramer özelikleri ile ilgili daha ayrıntılı bir çalışma yakın zamanda yapılmalıdır

    Combined physical activity in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases: from physiological to molecular adaptation mechanisms

    Physical activity is recognized as the most important non-medicinal tool for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, however, the highest efficiency is demonstrated by the programs combining various types of physical load. The present review summarizes the current scientific data on the effects of combined physical activity, including the aerobic exercises of moderate and high intensity and the muscle strengthening exercises, as well as the ones affecting the system of cardiometabolic regulation. A disclosure is provided for the multi-level adaptation mechanisms, encompassing the physiological, vegetative, hormonal, molecular and epigenetic levels. It was justified that combined training modalities possess the synergetic effects, facilitating the decrease of blood pressure, the increase in the cardiac rhythm variability, the improvement of insulin sensitivity, the decrease of chronic inflammation and the activation of cardioprotective transcription programs. A detailed description was provided for the key molecular pathways participating in the adaptational response (AMP-activated protein kinase, mTOR, PGC-1α, autophagia and the unfolded protein response), as well as the role of exerkines — the signaling molecules produced in response to physical load. Special attention was paid to the epigenetic modifications, including the methylation of DNA, the regulation of microRNA and the telomere stability, as the mechanisms of long-term protection from the cardiovascular diseases. The data provided emphasizes the necessity of introducing the combined modalities of physical activity into the programs of individual and populational prevention. Besides, further research is required on the optimal combination of intensity, extent and patterns of physical load for various population categories for the purpose of maximizing the protective adaptation of the cardiovascular system

    Detecting semantic social engineering attacks with the weakest link: Implementation and empirical evaluation of a human-as-a-security-sensor framework

    The notion that the human user is the weakest link in information security has been strongly, and, we argue, rightly contested in recent years. Here, we take a step further showing that the human user can in fact be the strongest link for detecting attacks that involve deception, such as application masquerading, spearphishing, WiFi evil twin and other types of semantic social engineering. Towards this direction, we have developed a human-as-a-security-sensor framework and a practical implementation in the form of Cogni-Sense, a Microsoft Windows prototype application, designed to allow and encourage users to actively detect and report semantic social engineering attacks against them. Experimental evaluation with 26 users of different profiles running Cogni-Sense on their personal computers for a period of 45 days has shown that human sensors can consistently outperform technical security systems. Making use of a machine learning based approach, we also show that the reliability of each report, and consequently the performance of each human sensor, can be predicted in a meaningful and practical manner. In an organisation that employs a human-as-a-security-sensor implementation, such as Cogni-Sense, an attack is considered to have been detected if at least one user has reported it. In our evaluation, a small organisation consisting only of the 26 participants of the experiment would have exhibited a missed detection rate below 10%, down from 81% if only technical security systems had been used. The results strongly point towards the need to actively involve the user not only in prevention through cyber hygiene and user-centric security design, but also in active cyber threat detection and reporting
