The structural and parametrical organization of elements of a power supply system in the conditions of network centrism
Purpose. Development of indicators of the structural and parametrical organization of effective active and adaptive system of service of power supply systems in the conditions of ideology of Smart Grid. Methodology. In the conditions of application of ideology of Smart Grid for increase of intellectualization of electrical power system there is a need of introduction of the principle of a network centrism in the structural and parametrical organization of elements of power supply systems that involves performance of conditions on implementation of provisions of the principle of Situational Awareness. The essence of this principle consists in that, information on a condition of system has to be presented in the form convenient for the analysis, recognition, transfer, distribution and storage, to be coordinated for flexible and optimum development at the subsystem and object-by-object levels. Results. Structural and parametrical optimization of elements of power supply systems in the conditions of a network centrism and the concept of SG involves use of provisions of the theory of systems and concepts of multicriteria optimizing synthesis. It is offered to use the modified adaptive indicator of the generalizing effect of synthesis of structure of active and adaptive system of service of power supply systems in the form of a difference of the generalizing effects: the introduced option of structure of system and basic. Originality. Introduction of an adaptive indicator of synthesis of system of service of power supply systems considers the concept of «service of system on the basis of a response» in the presence of false and true refusals. Practical value. Use of the specified indicator will allow to specify procedure of selection of competitive options for the purpose of definition of a set of admissible structures which meet the requirements of criterion function.В статье рассмотрены тенденции развития и принципы организации интеллектуальных энергосистем при введении понятия сетецентризма в условиях идеологии Smart Grid. Numerical computation of electric fields in presence of curvilinear interface between conductive and non-conductive media
Purpose. To elaborate a method of electric field numerical calculation in systems with curved boundaries between conductive and non-conductive media at final volume method usage and application of the rectangular grids. Methodology. At electric field calculation in quasi-stationary approximation, potential of the whole conductive object (rod) is constant. At final difference scheme writing, presence of the curved part of the boundary between conducting and non-conducting media has been taking into account as follows. It was supposed that curved section complements the closed loop on which integration of the solvable equation is done instead of a straight section which extends within a conducting medium. Usage of this approach allows taking into account square of the curved sections of the boundary and distance between surface of non conductive medium and nearest nodes of the computational grid. Results. Dependence of the maximum electric field intensity on the height and radius of curvature peaks rods has been got with the help of calculations. As a result, a polynomial approximation for the analytical expression of the external electric field intensity, upon which application to the conductive object of a certain height and radius of curvature of its top, corona discharges will develop.
Layer- and bulk roton excitations of 4He in porous media
We examine the energetics of bulk and layer-roton excitations of 4He in
various porous medial such as aerogel, Geltech, or Vycor, in order to find out
what conclusions can be drawn from experiments on the energetics about the
physisorption mechanism. The energy of the layer-roton minimum depends
sensitively on the substrate strength, thus providing a mechanism for a direct
measurement of this quantity. On the other hand, bulk-like roton excitations
are largely independent of the interaction between the medium and the helium
atoms, but the dependence of their energy on the degree of filling reflects the
internal structure of the matrix and can reveal features of 4He at negative
pressures. While bulk-like rotons are very similar to their true bulk
counterparts, the layer modes are not in close relation to two-dimensional
rotons and should be regarded as a third, completely independent kind of
excitation

Nataliakulikite, Ca4Ti2(Fe3+,fe2+)(Si,fe3+,al)o11, a new perovskite-supergroup mineral from hatrurim basin, negev desert, Israel
Nataliakulikite, Ca4Ti2(Fe3+,Fe2+)(Si,Fe3+,Al)O11, is a mineral intermediate between perovskite CaTiO3 and brownmillerite Ca2(Fe,Al)2O5. It was discovered as a minor mineral in a high-temperature pyrometamorphic larnite-gehlenite rock at the Nahal Morag Canyon of the Hatrurim Basin, Israel. Nataliakulikite is associated with larnite, flamite, gehlenite, magnesioferrite, Fe3+-rich perovskite, fluorapatite, barite, Hashemite, and retrograde phases (afwillite, hillebrandite, portlandite, calcite, ettringite, hydrogarnet, and other hydrated Ca-silicates). The mineral forms brown subhedral or prismatic grains (up to 20 µm) and their intergrowths (up to 50 µm). Its empirical formula (n = 47) is (Ca3.992Sr0.014U0.004)(Ti1.933Zr0.030Nb0.002) (Fe3+0.610Fe2+0.405Cr0.005Mn0.005)(Si0.447Fe3+0.337Al0.216)O11 and shows Si predominance in tetrahedral site. The unit-cell parameters (HRTEM data) and space group are: a = 5.254, b = 30.302, c = 5.488 Å, V = 873.7 Å3, Pnma, Z = 4. These dimensions and Electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) data strongly support the structural identity between nataliakulikite and synthetic Ca4Ti2Fe3+2O11 (2CaTiO3·Ca2Fe3+2O5), an intermediate compound in the system CaTiO3-Ca2Fe3+2O5. In general, this mineral is a Si-Fe2+-rich natural analog of synthetic Ca4Ti2Fe3+2O11. The X-ray powder diffraction data (CuKα-radiation), calculated from unit-cell dimensions, show the strongest lines {d [Å], (Icalc)} at: 2.681(100), 1.898(30), 2.627(26), 2.744(23), 1.894(22), 15.151(19), 1.572(14), 3.795(8). The calculated density is 4.006 g/cm3. The crystal structure of nataliakulikite has not been refined because of small sizes of grains. The Raman spectrum shows strong bands at 128, 223, 274, 562, and 790 cm−1. Nataliakulikite from the Hatrurim Basin crystallized under the conditions of combustion metamorphism at high temperatures (1160–1200◦C) and low pressures (HT-region of the spurrite-merwinite facies). © 2019 by the authors. Pan-squamous genomic profiling stratified by anatomic tumor site and viral association
Background: Squamous cell carcinomas (SCC) have diverse anatomic etiologies but may share common genomic biomarkers. We profiled 7,871 unique SCCs across nine anatomic sites to investigate commonality in genomic alterations (GA), tumor mutational burden (TMB), human papillomavirus (HPV) association, and mutational signatures.
Methods: Tissue from over 8,100 unique SCC samples originating from nine anatomic sites (anogenital (anus, cervix, penis, vagina, vulva), esophagus, head and neck, lung, and skin) were sequenced by hybrid capture-based comprehensive genomic profiling to evaluate GA and TMB. About 3% of non-cutaneous SCC samples had UV signatures, indicative of potential primary site misdiagnoses, and were filtered from the analysis. Detection of HPV, including high-risk strains 16, 18, 31, 33, and 45, was implemented through de novo assembly of non-human sequencing reads and BLASTn comparison against all viral nucleotide sequences in the NCBI database.
Results: The proportion of HPV+ patients by anatomic site varied, with the highest being anal (91%) and cervical (83%). The mutational landscape of each cohort was similar, regardless of anatomic origin, but clustered based on HPV status. The largest differences in GA frequency as stratified by HPV- vs. HPV+ were TP53 (87% vs. 12%), CDKN2A (45% vs. 6%), and PIK3CA (22% vs. 33%). The median TMB in cases originating from HPV-associated sites was similar, regardless of HPV status. Higher median TMB was observed in lung and skin cases, which exhibited significant enrichment of mutational signatures indicative of tobacco- and UV-induced DNA damage, respectively.
Conclusions: HPV+ and HPV- SCC populations have distinct genomic profiles and, for the latter, anatomic site is correlated with TMB distribution, secondary to associated carcinogen exposure. As such, biomarkers such as TMB and UV signature can provide unexpected insight into site of origin misdiagnoses and may correlate with benefit from immune checkpoint inhibitors
