Situational analysis of socio-cultural interaction of states under conditions of globalization
The present article considers the possibilities of the paradigm of socio-cultural interaction when analyzing international relations. Traditional activity approaches in explaining this interaction are critically assessed, and the main situations of interstate interactions that have a socio-cultural importance are analyzed.
The offered problematisation when studying global strategies of interstate relations in terms of socio-cultural interaction makes it possible to consider desirable strategies and scenarios for improving intercultural communication and international cooperation. Possible prospects on changing the basic benchmarks of the globalization processes based on socio-cultural interaction for its further humanization are outlined.
The revealed mechanisms of the dynamics of socio-cultural interactions when moving from one situation of interaction to another, as well as the role of the cultural reality formed for this purpose and overcoming the one-sidedness of economism in international relations can provoke the researchersβ interest. The offered analysis of the situations of socio-cultural interaction enables the authors of the article to clarify some positive opportunities of the globalization in the overall civilization development and intercultural dialogue of all countries of the world community.
The results given in the article in relation to studying the main reasons of the discrimination in interstate relations and offers on overcoming it by using the spiritual and moral potential of the world culture are also of great importance.peer-reviewe

NMR screening of potential inhibitors of methionine Ξ³-lyase from Citrobacter freundii
Β© 2014, Pleiades Publishing, Inc. Methionine Ξ³-lyase [EC 4.4.1.11] participates in methionine catabolism in a number of bacteria and protozoa eukaryotes, including pathogenic microorganisms. The lack of this enzyme in mammals allows us consider it to be a promising target for rational antibacterial drug design. Currently, in medical practice, there are no preparations based on the inhibition of methionine Ξ³-lyase. We present the results of a search for potential inhibitors of this enzyme using NMR screening techniques based on the identification of compounds, which are able to bind specifically to their biological target. The study included a stage of in silico virtual screening of the library of commercially available compounds and subsequent experimental selection of the leading compounds capable to interact with the enzyme. The identification of binding was carried out using saturation transfer difference (STD) spectroscopy and the WaterLOGSY technique. During the final stage, an experimental assessment of the inhibition activity of the selected compounds in the reaction of the Ξ³ elimination of L-methionine catalyzed by methionine Ξ³-lyase was performed. Binding constants of two leading compounds were determined using the WaterLOGSY method. This study expands the structural group of potential inhibitors of methionine Ξ³-lyase and allows us to approach the design of its inhibitors with higher efficacy

Testing Social Impact Projects in the Healthcare Sector to Improve Public Health and Quality of Life for Children
Considering the reduction in the child population, childrenβs health status is an urgent medical and social problem. According to experts from the World Health Organisation, the growing burden of obesity and other non-communicable diseases has become a new threat to childrenβs health. In most cases, obesity in children is due to manageable risk factors and is a preventable disease. Currently, there are no comprehensive long-term programmes aimed at preventing childhood obesity in Russia. In view of the absence of tariffs for the provision of preventive medical services in the framework of compulsory medical insurance, this medical care is not provided to children βfree of chargeβ under the Program of State Guarantees of Free Medical Care to Citizens. In conditions of a shortage of financial resources, the state cannot fully fulfil the function of protecting the health of the child population. In such circumstances, the involvement of business in solving social issues is practiced in many countries. Social impact bonds are one of the financial instruments. Testing of programmes for the prevention of obesity in children in Sverdlovsk oblast can be implemented as part of a social impact project.Π ΡΡΠ»ΠΎΠ²ΠΈΡΡ

Cytological features of buccal epithelium in children with obesity
The article discusses the features of the buccal cytology in children with obesity. The buccal cytology was evaluated according to the following criteria: normal cells (superficial, intermediate), cells with karyological abnormalities (micronuclei, protrusions, nucleus vacuolization, binuclear cells, karyopyknosis, chromatin condensation, cells with signs of karyorexis, karyolysis, apoptotic bodies). An analysis of the data revealed that the number of intermediate cells in healthy and obese children is different. In the group of obese children, there is a tendency to increase the amount of karyological abnormalities.Π ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠ΅ ΡΠ°ΡΡΠΌΠ°ΡΡΠΈΠ²Π°ΡΡΡΡ ΠΎΡΠΎΠ±Π΅Π½Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ Π±ΡΠΊΠΊΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΠΉ ΡΠΈΡΠΎΠ³ΡΠ°ΠΌΠΌΡ Π΄Π΅ΡΠ΅ΠΉ Ρ ΠΎΠΆΠΈΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠ΅ΠΌ.
