Two stage Decision Tree Learning from Multi-class Imbalanced Tweets for Knowledge Discovery

    Get PDF
Data Mining is an efficient technique for knowledge discovery from existing databases. The existing algorithms performance degrades when applied to the multi class imbalance dataset. The imbalance nature of twitter data set also hinders the process of efficient knowledge discovery. In this paper, we proposed an efficient learning approach for knowledge discovery from multi class imbalance datasets specifically designed for opinion mining. The proposed Under Sampled Imbalance Decision tree Learning (USIDL) approach uses decomposition of multi class into number of binary class samples followed by a unique technique for under sampling the instances from majority subset of each binary sample. The experimental results suggest that the proposed technique performs better than the existing C4.5 algorithm on six evaluation metrics

Digital Three-Dimensional Atlas of Quail Development Using High-Resolution MRI

We present an archetypal set of three-dimensional digital atlases of the quail embryo based on microscopic magnetic resonance imaging (µMRI). The atlases are composed of three modules: (1) images of fixed ex ovo quail, ranging in age from embryonic day 5 to 10 (e05 to e10); (2) a coarsely delineated anatomical atlas of the µMRI data; and (3) an organ system–based hierarchical graph linked to the anatomical delineations. The atlas is designed to be accessed using SHIVA, a free Java application. The atlas is extensible and can contain other types of information including anatomical, physiological, and functional descriptors. It can also be linked to online resources and references. This digital atlas provides a framework to place various data types, such as gene expression and cell migration data, within the normal three-dimensional anatomy of the developing quail embryo. This provides a method for the analysis and examination of the spatial relationships among the different types of information within the context of the entire embryo

Received: March 5th, 2022 ; Accepted: June 13th, 2022 ; Published: July 5th, 2022 ; Correspondence: [email protected] data of the technological assessment of the suitability of five new winter apple cultivars of VNIISPK breeding (‘Aleksandr Boyko’, ‘Blagodat’, ‘Vavilovskoye, Ivanovskoye’, ‘Patriot’ and ‘Prazdnichnoye’) for the production of raw materials for juice industry are presented. The main technological indicators characterizing the suitability of the cultivar for juice production were studied: the firmness of the pulp, the yield of juice, the content of soluble solids, sugars, titratable acids and catechins in comparison with the standard cultivar ‘Antonovka’. It was found that all of them were distinguished by a higher content of soluble solids and sugars in the juice than in the standard cultivar, and a lower content of titrated acids, as well as higher tasting ratings. ‘Aleksandr Boyko’ surpassed all studied cultivars in terms of such indicators as juice yield, the content of soluble solids, sugars and catechins in it, besides it was distinguished by low acidity. All studied cultivars, especially ‘Alexandr Boyko’, are promising as raw materials for the juice industry

This study aimed to describe the internal factors, external factors and most influential factors that cause children to become dependent at the age of 5-6 years in Raudatul Babussalam RA North Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The sample was 3 teachers, 3 children aged 5-6 years who are dependent, and 3 parents's dependent children. The results of the data analysis showed that the internal factors of emotional and intellectual that does not cause the children becomes dependent. External factors that cause children to be dependent is parenting parents and family economic status. While the most influential factors that cause children to be dependent is external factors, namely children parenting parents were overprotective

The reason of the researcher to observe the Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates debate is because of this debate is a formal event which requires formal language. Thus, it is suitable to observe how to speak the language properly. This research applies descriptive method and qualitative form. Research data, such as pronunciation, diction, intonation, and effective sentences. Technique of collecting data is documentary study. Tools of collecting data are the researcher (key instrument) and data tables. Based on the analysis of data on the language used by moderator of presidential and vice presidential candidates debate 2014 can be decuded 478 pronunciation mistakes, 28 diction mistakes, 13 intonation mistakes, and 59 ineffective sentences mistakes

A WIDE DISTRIBUTION OF A NEW VRN-B1c ALLELE OF WHEAT TRITICUM AESTIVUM L. IN RUSSIA, UKRAINE AND ADJACENT REGIONS: A LINK WITH THE HEADING TIME AND ADAPTIVE POTENTIAL

The adaptation of common wheat (T. aestivum L.) to diverse environmental conditions is greatly under the control of genes involved in determination of vernalization response (Vrn-1 genes). It was found that the variation in common wheat heading time is affected not only by combination of Vrn-1 homoeoalleles but also by multiple alleles at a separate Vrn-1 locus. Previously, we described the Vrn-B1c allele from T.aestivum cv. 'Saratovskaya 29' and found significant differences in the structure of the first (1st) intron of this allele when compared to another highly abundant Vrn-B1a allele, specifically, the deletion of 0.8 kb coupled with the duplication of 0.4 kb. We suggested that the changes in the intron 1 of Vrn-B1c allele caused earlier ear emergence in the near-isogenic line and cultivars, carrying this allele. In this study we investigate the distribution of the Vrn-B1c allele in a wide set of spring wheat cultivars from Russia, Ukraine and adjacent regions. The analysis revealed that 40% of Russian and 53% of Ukranian spring wheat cultivars contain the Vrn-B1c allele. The high distribution of the Vrn-B1c allele can be explained by a frequent using of 'Saratovskaya 29' in the breeding process inside the studied area. From the other hand, the predominance of the Vrn-B1c allele among cultivars cultivated in West Siberia and Kazakhstan may be due to the selective advantage of this allele for the region where there is a high risk of early fall frosts
