    Continuous Monitoring of Rabi Oscillations in a Josephson Flux Qubit

    Under resonant irradiation, a quantum system can undergo coherent (Rabi) oscillations in time. We report evidence for such oscillations in a _continuously_ observed three-Josephson-junction flux qubit, coupled to a high-quality tank circuit tuned to the Rabi frequency.     Rural coastal communities have very simple housing conditions. Another view that is often encountered is the poor condition of the environment and pollution with a very minimal infrastructure system. Sanitation facilities and infrastructure in a fishermen's settlement environment are not or less available, if there are then the conditions are inadequate or not feasible. One of the sanitation networks that exist in settlements and has a worrying condition is household waste water sanitation. Without proper management, liquid waste can cause various infectious diseases. but in some poor communities in developing countries, especially in rural areas, people try to dispose of liquid waste as cheaply as possible, in the absence of a sanitation system some people depend on natural processes. Inadequate liquid waste disposal systems are rarely considered a problem by the community. The aim to be achieved is to find out the characteristics of the household waste sanitation system in the form of gray water that exists in fisherman settlements and the appropriate form of handling in accordance with community conditions and environmental conditions.     Low-frequency characterization of quantum tunneling in flux qubits

    We propose to investigate flux qubits by the impedance measurement technique (IMT), currently used to determine the current--phase relation in Josephson junctions. We analyze in detail the case of a high-quality tank circuit coupled to a persistent-current qubit, to which IMT was successfully applied in the classical regime. It is shown that low-frequency IMT can give considerable information about the level anticrossing, in particular the value of the tunneling amplitude. An interesting difference exists between applying the ac bias directly to the tank and indirectly via the qubit. In the latter case, a convenient way to find the degeneracy point in situ is described. Our design only involves existing technology, and its noise tolerance is quantitatively estimated to be realistic.Comment: 6 pages, 11 figures, to appear in Phys.Rev.

    Although contrast angiography is still considered the “gold standard” for evaluation of the aorta and its major branches, Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) has quickly gained popularity as an imaging tool for the assessment of the entire aorta. MRA serves as an alternative imaging modality that can be utilized in patients with impaired renal function and with allergies to iodinated contrast medium (iodinated contrast medium is required in contrast angiography and computed tomography, CT).     Probing High Frequency Noise with Macroscopic Resonant Tunneling

    We have developed a method for extracting the high-frequency noise spectral density of an rf-SQUID flux qubit from macroscopic resonant tunneling (MRT) rate measurements. The extracted noise spectral density is consistent with that of an ohmic environment up to frequencies ~ 4 GHz. We have also derived an expression for the MRT lineshape expected for a noise spectral density consisting of such a broadband ohmic component and an additional strongly peaked low-frequency component. This hybrid model provides an excellent fit to experimental data across a range of tunneling amplitudes and temperatures

To address this issue, the Water and Sanitation Program, a partnership administered by the World Bank and funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, launched a global initiative in 2006 at selected sites in India, Indonesia, and Tanzania. In Indonesia, the program was known as the Total Sanitation and Sanitation Marketing initiative, which moved beyond simply building sanitation "hardware" and relied, instead, on providing training and technical assistance to promote collective action to eliminate open defecation and to strengthen demand for and supply of sanitation products and services

    Kebutuhan akan rumah murah berkualitas membuat PT. Bulan Terang Utama selaku developer rumah subsidi di Malang mengembangkan teknologi rumah pracetak sebagai rumah subsidi. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penelitian untuk membandingkan metode SNI serta MS. Project. Metode pembangunan struktur rumah pracetak adalah dengan pengecoran dinding beton bertulang dan kolomnya memakai besi siku yang dicor. Sehingga belum ada ketentuan dari SNI yang mengatur tentang pekerjaan rumah pracetak . Sehingga untuk menghitung biaya rumah pracetak digunakan software yaitu microsoft project. Penelitian mengenai analisis perhitungan biaya rumah pracetak berdasarkan perhitungan biaya dari developer dan berdasarkan software MS. Project. Objek penelitian ini adalah proyek pembangunan rumah pracetak di Perumahan Bulan Terang Utama Malang. Perhitungan dengan metode MS. Project menggunakan data berdasarkan perhitungan biaya langsung rumah pracetak dan penjadwalan/ timeline yang didapat dari developer. Dari hasil penelitian, metode analisis biaya yang digunakan adalah metode analisis biaya proyek dengan cara menghitung biaya langsung proyek. Metode analisis biaya proyek dengan cara menghitung biaya langsung proyek adalah metode yang menghitung harga bahan dan upah tenaga kerja secara keseluruhan sesuai keadaan proyek. Pada perencanaan proyek pembangunan rumah pracetak dibutuhkan total biaya pembangunan yang mendekati dengan riil biaya pelaksanaan. Sehingga metode analisis biaya proyek menghitung biaya langsung proyek ini dianggap adalah analisis biaya yang tepat. Metode MS Project 2007 adalah alternatif metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis harga untuk proyek tersebut. Metode ini digunakan karena sesuai dengan keadaan proyek yang memiliki data timeline/penjadwalan. Nilai total estimasi biaya rumah pracetak dengan menggunakan software microsoft project 2007 adalah Rp. 79.129.430,-. Total estimasi biaya dengan menggunakan software microsoft project 2007 selisih Rp.120,- dengan analisis biaya langsung proyek. Selisih ini terjadi diakibatkan karena pada MS. Project 2007 input data yang digunakan tidak bisa melebihi dua angka desimal di belakang koma

    Textbooks are learning guide books used by students in order to help achieve the goals of national education. Development of textbooks is one of the ways in which to facilitate the achievement of learning indicators. Development of Cell Biology textbooks by using bioinformatics approaches Dick and Carey development model. Textbooks developed validated by subject matter experts, instructional media experts, individual testing 15 students, and 15 students were group trial. Validation results matter experts declared feasible by 84% in good categories. The results of the validation study media experts declared feasible by 82.4% in good categories.Buku ajar merupakan buku panduan pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh siswa guna membantu mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Pengembangan buku ajar merupakan salah satu cara yang dilakukan untuk memfasilitasi tercapainya indikator pembelajaran. Pengembangan buku ajar Biologi Sel dengan pendekatan Bioinformatika menggunakan model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Buku ajar yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media pembelajaran, 15 mahasiswa uji coba perorangan, dan 15 mahasiswa uji coba kelompok sedang.     Analysis of Chromium (Cr) and Nickel (Ni) in the West Coast of Karimun Island Riau Archipelagos Province

    This research was conducted in March 2015 by collecting samples of water and sediments from the west coast of Karimun island. The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of heavy metals chromium (Cr) and nickel (Ni) in seawater and sediments. Sample collection was done by purposive sampling method in which the three selected station. The highest Cr concentration in sea water was found in Station 2 (0.148 mg/L) and Ni in Station 3 (0.071 mg/L) whilst highest Cr and Ni concentrations in Station 2 (4.643 and 2.289 ÎĽg/g). Compared tothe Standard Quality Guideline for Sediment, the concentrations of Cr and Ni were still below the value of ERL and still very far below the value of ERM. In contrast with Ni, which has negative correlation with its concentration in sediment, the Cr concentration in sea water was positively correlated with its concentration in sediment
