Cognitive principles and persuasiveness of social anti-drug advertising

Moral emancipation in post-perestroika Russia led to a massive drug abuse, at the same time narcotization has no cognitive or religious impulse, but rather is connected with hedonistic tendencies (along with many other phenomena of modern civilization, especially mass culture). The problem of the relationship of drug abuse with deviant behavior has been dramatically worsened. Anti-drug direction with prominent role of social advertising in it, is very important. The most important methodological postulate was the position about the empirical method of cognitive linguistics, which is to follow all the nuances of language forms and to find their ultimate explanation in the cognitive structures device. Cognitive approach to social advertising considers that the recipient of the advertisement perceives it through the prism of individual constructs. Persuasiveness in anti-drug advertising relies not only on logic but on psychology, and the axiology. Interpretative approach and hermeneutic approach, linguistic deduction and induction were used. The reported study was funded by RFBR according to the research project № 17-04-00109.peer-reviewe

Information technologies are more and more introduced into our life. They are also applied in agriculture under the growing conditions of this industry. It is especially important to manage agricultural processes influenced by rapid changes of climate, limitation of various resources. To overcome diverse uncertainty, it is efficient to use information technologies providing forecast information for high-quality management. The developed online system allows optimizing the economic activity on irrigated lands under the changing climate. Its distinctive feature is the scope of coverage of a considerable territory of the European part of Russia and duration of meteorological observations

Purpose of the study: The aim of this study is to investigate the image of municipalities and also to determine the things that give the city a positive image of the territory. Methodology: The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the ideas and paradigms that were developed in the works of leading domestic sociologists, cult urologists, economists, and marketers. The applied individual methods include comparative analysis, typology, classification method, questionnaire, method of analysis of social factors and events Results: The Program of socio-economic development must be amended in the form of a subprogram for the formation of a positive image of the municipality of Chekhov, since today there are no projects or programs aimed at creating a positive image of the municipality to one degree or another, its popularization and perception among the local population and among tourists. Moreover, information support of the main assets of the municipality of Chekhov (information about the advantages of the territory, photographs and advertising leaflets) in social networks, the media, on the Internet, that is, marketing of historical and cultural heritage with a priority on the work of A.P. Chekhov Applications of this study: The formation of a favorable image is of fundamental importance primarily for residents of the municipality. It affects the creation and support of social optimism among the population, trust in the authorities and confidence in the future. Novelty of the study: The image of the municipality is formed from the priority elements of its structure and a set of certain factors of development and promotion of the territory. So, the novelty of this study is to asses this image in modern life

Effect of Zbtb33 gene knockout and bacterial lipopolysaccharide on home cage behavior in mice

The Zbtb33 gene encodes the bimodal transcriptional repressor Kaiso, which causes epigenetic repression of genes by binding to methylated mCpG islets in the promoters of the genes. Despite the fact that Kaiso is intensively expressed in the central nervous system, its participation in the regulation of behavior is still poorly understood. Only the participation of Kaiso in the regulation of the behavioral response to emotional stress in the open field and forced swimming tests has been shown. The aim of this study is to elucidate the role that Kaiso plays in regulating daily activity, as well as the behavioral response to stimulation of nonspecific immunity. Experiments were performed on adult male mice with Zbtb33 gene knockout (KO) and animals of the C57BL/6 line (wild type, WT). All animals were 11 weeks old, weighed 26 ± 1 g and had SPF (specific pathogen free) status throughout the experiment. The animals of each genotype were divided into three weighted groups of 8 animals each. Initially, the daily dynamics of motor activity, sleep, food and water intake of intact animals was measured using the PhenoMaster software-hardware complex. The animals of each group were then injected with saline (control), 0.1 or 1.0 mg/kg of bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) dissolved in saline, and again measured for their daily activity, food and water intake. Intact KO and WT mice did not differ in the average daily motor activity and sleep duration. However, intact KO mice were less active in the dark time, and also consumed less food and water as compared to intact WT animals. LPS at both doses suppressed motor activity, prolonged sleep duration and caused anorexia in mice of both genotypes. However, the effect of low dose of LPS (0.1 mg/kg) on the food and water intake was more pronounced in KO mice than in WT animals. The results shed light on the biological significance of the Kaiso gene and serve as a justification for the necessity of the normal functioning of this gene in natural populations
