Microwave properties of Nb/PdNi/Nb trilayers. Observation of flux flow in excess of Bardeen-Stephen theory

We combine wideband (1-20 GHz) Corbino disk and dielectric resonator (8.2 GHz) techniques to study the microwave properties in Nb/PdNi/Nb trilayers, grown by UHV dc magnetron sputtering, composed by Nb layers of nominal thickness $d_S$=15 nm, and a ferromagnetic PdNi layer of thickness $d_F$= 1, 2, 8 and 9 nm. We focus on the vortex state. Magnetic fields up to $H_{c2}$ were applied. The microwave resistivity at fixed $H/H_{c2}$ increases with $d_F$, eventually exceeding the Bardeen Stephen flux flow value.Comment: 6 pages. Objective: to evaluate the safety of long-term use of Urisan. Subjects and methods. The safety of long-term (6-month) use of Urisan in 30 patients with the significant diagnosis of gout was studied. Results. Urisan was generally well tolerated. The findings suggest the drug has neither nephro- and hepatotoxicity nor negative effect on carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. Conclusion. The herbal complex Urisan has proved to be an effective and safe agent for long-term therapy in patients with gout.Целью настоящего исследования явилась оценка безопасности длительного назначения Урисана. Материал и методы. Проведено исследование безопасности длительного (6 мес) применения Урисана у 30 больных с достоверным диагнозом подагры. Результаты исследования. В целом переносимость Урисана была хорошей. Полученные данные свидетельствуют об отсутствии у Урисана нефро- и гепатотоксичности, негативного влияния на углеводный и липидный обмен. Заключение. Растительный комплекс Урисан зарекомендовал себя как эффективное и безопасное средство для длительной терапии больных подагрой

Фитопрепараты Пролит и Урисан в лечении больных подагрой

Objective: to study the safety and efficacy of Urisan and Prolit in patients with gout. Subjects and methods. The study enrolled 45 patients who met the Wallace classification criteria for gout, were in the attack-free interval and received no antihyperuricemic therapy. The patients' mean age was 51.2±10.6 years (range 30 to 68 years); the disease duration (median and interquartile range) was 7.0 (6.0; 10.0) years. Intradermal and subcutaneous tophi were present in 33% of the patients. The diagnosis was verified by the detection of sodium monourate crystals in 93%. The patients were divided into 3 groups: 1) those who took Urisan as 2 capsules twice daily; 2) those who received Prolit as 5 capsules thrice daily; 3) those who used Urisan and Prolit in the above doses for a month. Blood biochemical tests for the levels of uric acid (UA), creatinine, urea, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase, general clinical urinolysis, and daily uricosuria analysis were carried out before and after therapy. Prior to and a month following therapy, the patient's status (the presence of arthritides) was assessed and adverse reactions were recorded. Results. The drugs were well tolerated and no adverse reactions occurred in all the three groups. No disease exacerbations were seen during the study. The values of hepatic and renal functions substantially unchanged. Administration of Urisan resulted in a considerable increase in urine pH (p=0.004). Urine pH was also increased, but statistically insignificantly in Group 3 patients (p=0.09) and decreased in Group 2. Blood UA levels became lower in all the groups. Conclusion. Urisan and Prolit have antihyperuricemic, anti-inflammatory, and litholythic effects and may be recommended for combined therapy of gout.Цель исследования - изучить безопасность и эффективность препаратов Урисан и Пролит у больных подагрой. Материал и методы. В исследование включено 45 пациентов, которые удовлетворяли классификационным критериям подагры S.L. Wallace, находились в межприступном периоде и не получали антигиперурикемическую терапию. Средний возраст больных - 51,2±10,6 года (от 30 до 68 лет), продолжительность болезни (медиана и интерквартильный размах) - 7,0 (6,0; 10,0) лет. 33% пациентов имели внутрикожные и подкожные тофусы, у 93% диагноз подтвержден обнаружением кристаллов моноурата натрия. Больные были разделены на 3 группы. Пациенты 1-й группы принимали Урисан по 2 капсулы 2 раза в день, 2-й группы - Пролит по 5 капсул 3 раза в день и 3-й группы - Урисан и Пролит в указанных дозах в течение 1 мес. До и после лечения выполняли биохимическое исследование крови: уровень мочевой кислоты (МК), креатинина, мочевины, АСТ, АЛТ, γ-ГТ, общеклинический анализ мочи и анализ суточной урикозурии. Исходно и через 1 мес лечения оценивали состояние больного (наличие артритов) и регистрировали побочные явления. Результаты исследования. Во всех 3 группах переносимость препаратов была хорошей, побочных эффектов не выявлено. За время исследования не наблюдалось развития обострений заболевания. Показатели функции печени и почек за время лечения существенно не изменились. На фоне приема Урисана наблюдалось значительное увеличение рН мочи (р=0,004). У пациентов 3-й группы рН мочи также увеличился, но статистически незначимо (р=0,09), а у больных 2-й группы - снизился. Уровень МК в крови значительно снизился во всех группах. Выводы. Урисан и Пролит оказывают антигиперурикемическое, противовоспалительное, камнерастворяющее действие и могут быть рекомендованы для комплексной терапии подагр

The paper outlines the specific features of the clinical picture and diagnosis of chronic gouty arthritis. It describes difficulties in treating chronic gout when one has to face the so-called vicious circle, to which is contributed by comorbidity that is present in most patients. A way out of this clinical difficulty is proposed to use the herbal complex Urisan that has antihyperuricemic and inflammatory properties.Изложены особенности клиники и диагностики хронического подагрического артрита. Описаны сложности лечения хронической подагры, когда приходится сталкиваться с так называемым порочным кругом, чему способствует присутствующая у большинства пациентов сопутствующая патология. Results of investigation of muon fluxes of superhigh energy cosmic rays with X-ray emulsion chambers

The overall data from the investigation of the cosmic ray muon flux in the range of zenith angles (0-90) deg within the energy range (3.5 to 5.0) TeV is presented. The exposure of large X-ray emulsion chambers underground was 1200 tons. year. The data were processe using the method which was applied in the experiment Pamir and differred from the earlier applied one. The obtained value of a slope power index of the differential energy spectrum of the global muon flux is =3.7 that corresponds to the slope of the pion generation differential spectrum, gamma sub PI = 2.75 + or - .04. The analysis of the muon zenith-angular distribution showed that the contribution of rapid generation muons in the total muon flux agree the best with the value .2% and less with .7% at a 90% reliability level

Estimation of efficiency of application of montelukast for the treatment of patients with asthma with expressed bronchial hyperresponsiveness on a cold

The work purpose was studying of efficiency of application of Montelukast in common base treatment inhaled corticosteroids in asthma patients with various severity level in the north con-ditions. It is surveyed by 200 patients with various severity level of bronchial asthma with ex-pressed hyperreactance on a cold. The received results testify to improvement of clinical parame-ters in patients as a result of 6 monthly therapies Montelukast. However, the patients of all inves-tigated groups throughout 1,5 months the requirement for the maximum dose of inhaled corticos-teroids remained. And already on 2nd month of research considerable improvements of clinical displays of disease in 3rd group were marked, have authentically improved (p <0,05) at sick 1st and 2nd groups and further remained stable even against decrease in general daily dose of in-haled corticosteroids.Целью работы явилось изучение эффективности применения монтелукаста на фоне ба-зисной терапии ингаляционными глюкокортикостероидами (ИГКС) больных БА различ-ной степени тяжести в условиях высоких широт. Обследовано 200 больных бронхиальной астмой (БА) различной степени тяжести с выраженной холодовой гиперреактивностью. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют об улучшении клинических проявлений болезни в результате 6-ти месячной терапии монтелукастом. У больных всех исследуемых групп на протяжении 1,5 месяцев потребность в максимальной дозе ИГКС сохранялась. На 2-м месяце исследования отмечались значительные улучшения клинических проявлений заболевания в 3-й группе, достоверно улучшились (р < 0,05) у больных 1-й и 2-й групп и в дальнейшем оставались стабильными даже на фоне снижения общей суточной дозы ИГКС

The paper discusses a role of a diet and therapy with the herbal complex Urisan in patients with gout. It is noted that the agent based on herbal components may be used in addition to drug therapy and diet in seasonal hyperuricuria, hyperuricemia observed after heavy strenuous and athletic activity, meat overeating, and alcohol abuse. Urisan may be recommended in subsiding gouty inflammation as a bridge to the use of allopurinol.Обсуждается роль диеты и терапии растительным комплексом Урисан у больных подагрой. According to the data of recent studies, the topical formulations of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used in rheumatic diseases are of the greatest importance in the treatment of osteoarthrosis. Comparative studies have demonstrated that ketoprofen-containing gel has some advantage over other NSAIDs. Topical formulations based on ketoprofen (Fastum® gel) are effective, fast-acting, and able to aid patients in relieving pain and improving the quality of life.Показано, что, по данным современных исследований, локальные формы нестероидных противовоспалительных препаратов (НПВП) при ревматических заболеваниях наибольшее значение имеют в лечении остеоартроза.
