We consider a 3-dimensional Riemannian manifold V with a metric g and an a±nor structure q. The local coordinates of these tensors are circulant matrices. In V we define an almost conformal transformation. Using that definition we construct an infinite series of circulant metrics which are successively almost conformaly related. SPHERES AND CIRCLES WITH RESPECT TO AN INDEFINITE METRIC ON A RIEMANNIAN MANIFOLD WITH A SKEW-CIRCULANT STRUCTURE

We study hyper-spheres, spheres and circles, with respect to an indefinite metric, in a single tangent space on a 4-dimensional differentiable manifold. The manifold is equipped with a positive definite metric and an additional tensor structure of type (1, 1). The fourth power of the additional structure is minus identity and its components form a skew-circulant matrix in some local coordinate system. The both structures are compatible and they determine an associated indefinite metric on the manifold

Inelastic Scattering of Tritium-Source Antineutrinos on Electrons of Germanium Atoms

Processes of the inelastic magnetic and weak scattering of tritium-beta-source antineutrinos on the bound electrons of a germanium atom are considered. Search for the Radiative Capture d+d->^4He+\gamma Reaction from the dd\mu Muonic Molecule State

A search for the muon catalyzed fusion reaction dd --> ^4He +\gamma in the dd\mu muonic molecule was performed using the experimental \mu CF installation TRITON and NaI(Tl) detectors for \gamma-quanta. The high pressure target filled with deuterium at temperatures from 85 K to 800 K was exposed to the negative muon beam of the JINR phasotron to detect \gamma-quanta with energy 23.8 MeV. The first experimental estimation for the yield of the radiative deuteron capture from the dd\mu state J=1 was obtained at the level n_{\gamma}\leq 2\times 10^{-5} per one fusion.Comment: 9 pages, 3 Postscript figures, submitted to Phys. Determination of mixing ratios from the gamma-gamma directional correlations in a triple cascade

Formulas for the determination of the three mixing ratios in a triple cascade have been derived and expressed in terms of the directional correlation coefficients of [gamma]1-[gamma]2, [gamma]2-[gamma]3 and [gamma]1-[gamma]3 cascades. The explanation of unexpected temperature dependence of the muon catalysis in solid deuterium

It is shown that due to the smallness of the inelastic cross-section of the $d\mu$-atoms scattering in the crystal lattice at sufficiently low temperatures the $dd\mu$-mesomolecules formation from the upper state of the hyperfine structure $d\mu (F=3/2)$ starts earlier than the mesoatoms thermolization. It explains an approximate constancy of the $dd\mu$-mesomolecule formation rate in solid deuterium.Comment: 6 pages, 2 jpeg-figure
