    Unparticle effects at the MUonE experiment

    We investigate possible effects of unparticles at the MUonE experiment by considering a general model for unparticle with broken scale invariance, characterized by the scaling dimension dd and the energy scale μ\mu at which the scale invariance is broken. Taking into account available relevant constraints on the couplings of the unparticles with the Standard Model (SM) leptons, we found that the MUonE experiment at the level of 10 ppm systematic accuracy is sensitive to such effects if 1<d≲1.41<d\lesssim 1.4 and 1≤μ≲121\le \mu \lesssim 12 GeV for vector unparticles. The effects of scalar unparticles are too feeble to be detected. The vector unparticles can induce a significant shift on the best-fit value of aμhada_\mu^\text{had} at the MUonE, thereby providing an opportunity to detect unparticles or to obtain a new bound on the unparticle-SM couplings in the case of no anomaly.Comment: 15 pages, 5 figures, 3 table

    Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH, TT &amp; DL), established in 2011 on the basis of upgrading Thanh Hoa College of Culture and Arts, is in the development stage. The number of documents drafted and issued every year is extremely large. Although always focused by the University's leaders, there are still many weaknesses due to the lack of adequate regulations on the process of drafting, issuing and managing documents. This has affected the management efficiency in general and the transaction work in particular of the University.     International law and the laws of most nations today acknowledge and safeguard the intellectual property rights of both organizations and individuals. This recognition serves to stimulate innovative and creative endeavors, facilitate the dissemination of scientific, technological, cultural, and artistic advancements, foster economic and societal development, and enhance the overall quality of life. Intellectual property assumes a critical role as a driving force behind innovation and creativity, fostering the growth of a nation's intellectual assets in terms of both quantity and value. This, in turn, contributes to bolstering creative capabilities and fostering a healthy competitive environment. Nevertheless, intellectual property rights violations are not uncommon, particularly in the context of higher education institutions in Vietnam. In this article, the authors employ qualitative research methods, following the "three-step test" outlined in the Berne Convention of 1971 for the protection of literary and artistic works, in conjunction with the stipulations of Vietnamese Intellectual Property Law. The results of this examination aid in the identification and location of infringements on the author's rights, such as inappropriate citation and plagiarism within university settings. Subsequently, the authors propose various solutions, which include legal adjustments, strategies for managing intellectual property, the establishment of cross-sectoral and inter-university networks, and the regulation of the responsibilities of scientific councils. These measures are intended to mitigate instances of intellectual property rights violations within Vietnamese universities in the present day.     A Study on Derailment at Railway Turnout Using the Multi-body Dynamics Simulation

    In this study, the locomotive and the turnout were simulated with three-dimensional models. The purpose of this study is prediction the derailment phenomenon of the locomotive running on the turnout in Vietnam. Multi-body simulations were implemented by SIMPACK software to determine the derailment coefficient, the wheel unloading factor, and the lateral force. The interaction between the locomotive and the track structure at turnout was considered unified. The derailment coefficient, the wheel unloading factor, and the lateral force were calculated for locomotive-D19E at turnout (tg0.15) for 1000 mm gauge according to QCVN 18:2011/BGTVT, EN 14363:2016, and TCVN 8784:2011. The derailment coefficient, the wheel unloading factor, and the lateral force for the locomotive at max speed V=27.8 km/h are 0.94, 0.61, and 67.46 kN, respectively. These results show that the locomotive will not derail when it passes the turnout at a speed V 27.8 km/h

    Creating Fatigue Curve for Steel Machine Elements Using Fatigue Test Method with Gradually Increasing Stress Amplitude

    In order to create a fatigue curve, the traditional fatigue test method is applied to specimens using a cyclic stress with constant amplitude. However, this method has disadvantages such as the experimental results could not be used because of specimens broken before reaching the expected stress amplitude, or the tests may be stopped before specimen broken because of limitation of time. To overcome this hurdle of the traditional method, a new experimental method using cyclic stress with gradually increasing amplitude was proposed to build the fatigue curve for steel machine elements

    Improving Heterogeneous Graph Learning with Weighted Mixed-Curvature Product Manifold

    In graph representation learning, it is important that the complex geometric structure of the input graph, e.g. hidden relations among nodes, is well captured in embedding space. However, standard Euclidean embedding spaces have a limited capacity in representing graphs of varying structures. A promising candidate for the faithful embedding of data with varying structure is product manifolds of component spaces of different geometries (spherical, hyperbolic, or euclidean). In this paper, we take a closer look at the structure of product manifold embedding spaces and argue that each component space in a product contributes differently to expressing structures in the input graph, hence should be weighted accordingly. This is different from previous works which consider the roles of different components equally. We then propose WEIGHTED-PM, a data-driven method for learning embedding of heterogeneous graphs in weighted product manifolds. Our method utilizes the topological information of the input graph to automatically determine the weight of each component in product spaces. Extensive experiments on synthetic and real-world graph datasets demonstrate that WEIGHTED-PM is capable of learning better graph representations with lower geometric distortion from input data, and performs better on multiple downstream tasks, such as word similarity learning, top-kk recommendation, and knowledge graph embedding
