    Iqbal’s Intellectual History: A Research Study

    Iqbal's intellectual history is full of various qualities. It is difficult to identify the location of Iqbal's thoughts and poems or their sources. What are the main characteristics of Iqbal's mind and thought? What was Iqbal's thinking style? How did Iqbal's mind and thought set evolutionary goals? What was Iqbal's point of view regarding thought and philosophy? And with which chain of thought was his special relationship? The critics of Iqbal believe that he got Faizan E Nazar from the East, while there is another group that says that Iqbal's ideas are derived from the West. While some people say that Iqbal's thought and vision was not the East or the West, but his own creation. It may be misleading to conclude by presenting the views of a few critics.     THE PERCEPTION AND EXPERIENCE OF NURSING STUDENTS REGARDING THE USE OF ACTIVE LEARNING STRATEGIES

    Abstract Active learning is a way of teaching rather than a particular, specialized technique. It necessitates active student participation in carefully planned teacher-structured classroom activities. Objective: This study aims to explore nursing students' perceptions and experiences regarding using active learning strategies. Methodology: This cross-sectional study was conducted at the private nursing institute in Karachi, Pakistan, from May to August 2023. Moreover, this study used a convenient sampling technique. The eighty-seven student participants are included in this study. Results: The survey results reveal that a substantial proportion of nursing students strongly agree with the effectiveness and benefits of active learning strategies. Specifically, 40.2% strongly agree that active learning enhances their understanding of complex nursing concepts, while 47.1% and 43.7% strongly agree that active learning activities are more engaging than traditional lectures. Furthermore, 55.2% strongly agree that active learning helps them retain and apply knowledge effectively, and 51.7% strongly agree that it encourages teamwork and collaboration among nursing students. Notably, 83.9% of students prefer active learning over traditional lecture-based teaching. Additionally, 35.6% strongly believe that nursing education can enhance the implementation of active learning strategies through learning objectives. Conclusion: The survey overwhelmingly supports active learning strategies among nursing students. Most strongly agree that active learning enhances understanding, engagement, and knowledge retention, favoring it over traditional lectures, mainly through case studies. Many also believe that integrating clear learning objectives can enhance its effectiveness. These findings underscore the widespread acknowledgment of active learning's positive impact on nursing education, emphasizing its role in improving comprehension and student engagement

    The importance of terminology in translation is quite significant. Translators tend to determine various terminologies for translation. Its principles have been derived by the scholars of Urdu literature and linguistics after research, criticism and discussion. This article focuses on the definition, meaning and importance of terminology. Citation of opinions from different researchers is one significant aspect of this article. This article not only presents some terminologies as examples but also highlights the methodology to determine terminology. This article is equally beneficial for students and teachers. Moreover, this essay also reflects the terminologies either  associated with Iqbal’s ideology or coined by him. This is a beacon for new translators.     Iqbal's thought is a marquee of many virtues. To improve it, one must have full love for Iqbal. Many aspects of Iqbal's life are hidden in his letters. Though many experts of Iqbal wanted to collect and edit these letters, but this hard nut was cracked by Mr. Burni who edited and saved them in four volumes with extreme hard work and enthusiasm. Experts consider this work the most important and useful achievement which also shows Mr. Burni's expertise on the topic as there were no. of issues of dates, marks on them obscure the writing, Persian poems etc. He used his scientific insights and technical skills to complete this research work. The study of this article reveals the essence of a researcher's abilities, positive and negative opinions about Mr. Burni.Certified references and researchers' opinions are included in this article

    This study problematizes the Sikh’s demand for Khalistan, a separate country of their own. To begin with, they demanded a greater degree of political autonomy within the domains of India. During the colonial period the Sikhs supported the Indian National Congress’s demand for the division of Punjab and inclusion of the East Punjab into Bharat. But soon after the creation of Bharat(India), `the Sikhs realized that they were betrayed and they started to vow for more autonomy. Initially, they felt that PEPSU was a step towards their aspirations but later they felt that they had missed the train and moved for Punjabi Province. After much deliberation and delaying tactics, finally the Punjab emerged on the Indian Territory in the form that always proved a nightmare for the Sikh community

    This study is an attempt to investigate the intervention of job burn-out and job engagement between JD-R model with organizational outcomes as turnover intention and job satisfaction in the nursing sector. For this purpose, three hundred questionnaires were distributed in nursing staff by using the quantitative approach. Convenient sampling technique has been used for the collection of data, and for data analysis SPSS and AMOS 21 has been used in this study. Findings of the study revealed the full mediation of job engagement between job resources, job satisfaction and turnover intention. There is a positive significant relation between job resources and job satisfaction however, negative relation with turnover intention. Moreover, results explain a positive and significant relation between job demands and job satisfaction and a positive but insignificant relation with turnover intention. Furthermore, there is no mediation of job burnout and job engagement between job demands and job satisfaction, turnover intention. It also revealed that there is no mediating relation of job burnout between job resources, job satisfaction and turnover intention. This study presents fresh evidences and literature support with supported theories of the discussed variables by looking the value in the context of health sector.
