Spatial contestation and Involution: A Case of the Public Transport, with particular reference to the Kampung Melayu, Jakarta

    Get PDF
Various modes of urban public transport in Indonesia have caused environmental concern as a result of the competition among them in a limited urban public space, i.e., road. They give rise to usurpation of public space, blockage of the traffic and squeezing tightly into space. This study seeks to uncover such a behavior that is aggravated by the trip makers, associated activities such street vending. Findings have shown that habitus of actors and their virtual networks of illegal, informal activities sustain their existence. Keywords: dual-society, habitus, contestation of public space, meta-spac

Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network (CPESN) Mississippi Research Opportunities

    Get PDF
CPESN, or Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network, is a clinically integrated network that allows pharmacies to aggregate and pursue contracts from payers as a group rather than as individual entities. Being a part of a clinically integrated network allows member pharmacies to engage with one another to improve the quality of patient care and offer value to payers through enhanced services while lowering pharmacy costs. CPESN USA consists of over 50 local networks, including CPESN Mississippi. Currently, there are 61 pharmacies that have joined CPESN Mississippi and have met the Minimum Standards to offer Comprehensive Medication Reviews, Medication Synchronization Programs, Immunizations, Medication Reconciliation, Personal Medication Record, and Face-to-Face Patient Access.https://egrove.olemiss.edu/pharm_annual_posters_2024/1002/thumbnail.jp

Coherence and time-frequency analysis of impulse voltage and current measurements

    Get PDF
The aim of this paper is to point out the advantages of the use of the time-frequency analysis in the digital processing of waveforms recorded in high voltage impulse tests. Impulse voltage tests are essential to inspect and test insulation integrity of high voltage apparatus. On the other hand, generated impulse currents are used for different test applications such as investigation of high current effects, electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing, etc. Obtained voltage and current waveforms usually have some sort of interferences originated from the different sources. These interferences have to be removed from the original impulse data in order to evaluate the waveform characteristics precisely. When the interference level is high enough, it might not be possible to distinguish signal parameters from the recorded data. Conventional filtering methods cannot be useful for some interference like white noise. In that case, time-frequency filtering methods might be necessary. In this study, the wavelet analysis, which is a powerful time-frequency signal processing tool, is used to recognize the noise of impulse current and voltage data. Thus, the noise sources can be determined by short time Fourier Transform, and a coherence approach is used to determine the bandwidth of noises

Biography as a factor of shaping the artist’s creative style

The objective of the article is to specify the essence of the chronicle as a sociocultural, anthropocentric phenomenon, as well as to justify the significance of biographical factors in the establishment and development of the master’s creative style. Its implementation has become possible via involving a number of general scientific methods (induction, deduction, synthesis, etc.) alongside with the following interdisciplinary approaches: culture studies, comparative, biographical, analytical, systemic, etc.  It was confirmed that: the biography is the central genre of comparative humanitarian studies. It implements ontology, outlook and the key achievements of an individual. Due to its multifaceted and universal character, the biography appears an important factor of shaping, transforming and studying the master’s technique; it fixes and explicates the basic stages of a creative personality’s individual history, biography events that have presupposed active/passive character, justified the person’s spiritual requirements and revealed their philosophical paradigm. While rebroadcasting the master’s chronicle, the author simultaneously reveals the sociocultural situation in which the character used to exist, and demonstrates the dominating concepts of the period
