Being networks: the digital formism of net-activist movements

For the last few years online social movements have spread through several latitudes creating important theoretical challenges for several areas of knowledge, concerning the nature of such actions, given the connective and technological quality of its acts as well as concerning the creation of a new kind of locality, simultaneously informative and material expression of an unprecedented dwelling condition that brings humans together, informative circuits and territorialities. Finally, the necessity that imposes rethinking the composition of human collectives beyond the perspective of modern sociology, since it presents itself as expression of a reticular interactive ecology that is no longer political, that is, anthropomorphic and ideologically oriented.Os movimentos sociais online que nos últimos anos, depois do advento da Web 2.0, das redes sociais digitais espalharam-se nas diversas latitudes desafiando governos e a cultura política ocidental, constituem um desafio teórico importante para os estudos de diversas áreas do conhecimento. Em primeiro lugar para a identificação da natureza de tais ações dada à qualidade conectiva e tecnologia de seu agir realizado em simbiose com os mais diversos dispositivos de conexão. Em segundo lugar para a criação de um novo tipo de localidade, informativa e material ao mesmo tempo, expressão de uma inédita condição habitativa que reúne humanos, circuitos informativos, territorialidades num diálogo fértil. Enfim, para a necessidade que impõem de repensar a composição dos coletivos humanos para além da perspectiva sociologia moderna, uma vez que se apresenta como a expressão de uma ecologia reticular interativa não mais política, isto é, antropomórfica e ideologicamente orientada.

Digital citizenship and the end of an idea of world

The western idea of society, founded on a contrast between citizens and limited to the cohabitation of human subjects, just as the idea of citizenship is based on the fundamental rights of people, faced with the challenges of the pandemic, of the climate change and those posed by the latest generation of intelligence network, turns out to be inadequate. The digital citizenship of today is the research area in which to search for the overcoming of the Western political project and to begin a new culture of governance within complex networks characterized by interactions within an architecture that is no longer composed either of subjects nor objects. REDES SOCIAIS DIGITAIS, EPISTEMOLOGIAS RETICULARES E A CRISE DO ANTROPOMORFISMO SOCIAL

The onset of digital networks has set itself – theoretically speaking – as an opportunity for an analysis not only on the role communication plays in our society, but also on the transformation knowledge has gone through, and on the innovation dynamics of our contemporary world. From that viewpoint, this article puts forward a conceptual reflection as it advances an intricate perspective as an epistemological rupture. The origins of such rupture are rooted in a variety of fields of knowledge from the first half of the 20th century; and it has little by little set itself as a new way to explain the complexity whose concrete expression lies in the technological and communicative form. The spread of the intricate information architecture of a global intelligence shows the need for rethinking social anthropomorphism, and has become one of the hermeneutical challenges of our times.O surgimento das redes digitais delineia-se, em nível teórico, como uma oportunidade para uma análise, não apenas sobre a importância do papel da comunicação na nossa sociedade, mas, também, sobre as transformações do conhecimento e das dinâmicas de inovação na nossa contemporaneidade. A partir desse contexto, o presente artigo propõe uma reflexão conceitual ao apresentar a perspectiva reticular como uma ruptura epistêmica, que tem suas origens em diversos campos do conhecimento científico desde a primeira metade do século XX, delineando-se, aos poucos, como uma nova forma explicativa da complexidade que encontra na forma tecnológico-comunicativa sua expressão concreta. Dark current spectroscopy of transition metals in CMOS image sensors

We have investigated the effects of deliberate heavymetals contamination on dark current and image defects in CMOS Image Sensors (CIS). Analysis of dark current in these imager dice has revealed different behaviors among most important 3d metals present in the process line. We have implanted directly in 3 Mega array pixels the following metals: Cr, V, Cu, Ni, Fe, Ti, Mo, W, Al and Zn. Analyzing the dark current "spectrum" as obtained for fixed integration periods of time by means of standard image-Testing equipment, these impurities can be identified and detected with a sensitivity of ∼ 109 traps/cm3 or higher

UIDB/05021/2020 UIDP/05021/2020Este artigo de natureza teórico-crítica tem como objetivo refletir sobre a função da comunicação no equilíbrio dos ecossistemas, nomeadamente através de uma perspectiva digital, no atual contexto de pandemia. Nesse sentido, pretende colaborar com o debate sobre a nossa relação com o digital em tempos de emergência da COVID-19 a partir de uma abordagem não mais sujeito-cêntrica. Em seu lugar, busca refletir sobre esta eco-logia pandêmica, emergente e algorítmica de interações, que substitui a ação política do sujeito pelas interações em redes complexas, desenvolvidas através da transformação de cada entidade em dados. Para tal, analisa a nova morfologia do social a partir de três casos de ação em rede que emergiram em países distintos — Itália, Portugal e Brasil — durante a primeira fase da pandemia do novo coronavírus, no primeiro semestre de 2020. This article of a theoretical and critical approach aims to analyze the role of communication to balance ecosystems, through a digital perspective, in the current context of pandemic. Thus, it aims to collaborate with the debate about our relationship with the digital during the emergence of COVID-19 from a no subject-centric approach. Therefore, it seeks to reflect on this pandemic, emerging and algorithmic ecology of interactions, which replaces the subject’s political action with interactions in complex networks, developed through the transformation of each entity into data. Educação OnLIFE: a dimensão ecológica das arquiteturas digitais de aprendizagem

As últimas gerações de redes de comunicação e de interação começarama estender a conectividade aos objetos (internet of things), às superfíciese ao meio-ambiente (sensores), criando ecologias interativas (theinternet of everything) nas quais todas as diversas entidades (dados,algoritmos, software, coisas, territórios, pessoas) desenvolvem suas açõese possibilidades em diálogos e por meio das demais. Tal transformaçãodetermina a passagem da forma de arquiteturas de aprendizagem frontaise analógicas, para dimensões reticulares e digitais. A digitalização domundo e a conexão generalizada possibilitam a construção de redes e dearquiteturas conectivas interagentes, nas quais a aprendizagem passa a sercompreendida, a partir de uma lógica ecossistêmica em que atores humanose entidades diversas (às quais a digitalização deu voz) dialogam e, numprocesso de interdependência, constroem uma ecologia inteligente. Dessecontexto emerge uma nova cultura relacional, ecológica, ligada a indicadorese critérios de sustentabilidade, o que nos permite falar de uma EducaçãoOnLIFE, numa realidade hiperconectada, na qual o “real” e “virtual” se (con)fundem, instigando instituições, professores e estudantes a repensar o sistemaeducativo, enquanto ecossistema. O artigo, a partir da reflexão sobre a nova conexão planetária e o habitar em rede, questiona que problematizações e desafios essa nova realidade coloca para a Educação.
