    The effect of modification “throwing-catching ball” in manipulative skill intellectual disability children

    The purpose of the research is to know the effect on the modification of “throwing-catching ball” in manipulative skill intellectual disability children. This study used quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design. Based on sampling technique with purposive sampling, this research used 10 samples. This research used the throwing-catching the ball instrument test. After analyzing data, value of the pretest was obtained with an average value of 3,8, minimum data 1, maximum data 6, and with a range of 5. Meanwhile of the posttest was obtained an average value of 10, minimum data 6, maximum data 2, and with range 6. Based on the results of t test showed 0,005 < 0,05. Meaning that there is an effect on the modification of “throwing-catching ball” in manipulative skill intellectual disability children. Hopefully, this research can be used as a basis for the next research, by paying attention on characteristics of intellectual disability children who require special assistance and learning and be more creative in developing game models to improve the manipulative skill on intellectual disability children

    MODEL LATIHAN MELOMPAT BERBASIS D-MAT UNTUK ANAK TUNAGRAHITA

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berawal dari masih rendahnya gerak dasar lompat pada anak tunagrahita. Hal ini terlihat berdasarkan observasi di beberapa SDLB di Sumatera Selatan hasilnya masih rendah. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya inovasi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut dengan mengembangkan model latihan melompat berbasis D-Mat untuk anak tunagrahita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh model melompat berbasis D-Mat yang valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan untuk anak tunagrahita tipe ringan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengadopsi teori Borg and Gall dengan mengikuti semua tahap-tahap penelitian. Berdasarkan validasi ahli dalam gerak dasar, ahli materi latihan/olahraga untuk anak tunagrahita dan ahli dalam bidang teknik elektro menyatakan bahwa model latihan melompat berbasis D-Mat untuk anak tunagrahita yang dikembangkan layak untuk dilakukan ujicoba. Berdasarkan hasil ujicoba kelompok kecil dengan 15 subjek diperoleh persentase 80,17 % menunjukkan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil ujicoba kelompok besar dengan 60 subjek diperoleh persentase 82,2% menunjukkan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji efektifitas menunjukkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan terbukti lebih baik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan gerak dasar melompat pada anak tunagrahita dengan hasil yang diperoleh nilai t = 3,827 dan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) atau p-value = 0,032 < 0,05. Artinya Ho ditolak atau ada perbedaan antara model latihan melompat berbasis D-Mat dan model konvensional untuk anak tunagrahita. Berdasarkan hasil N-Gain score didapatkan bahwa rata-rata skor kelas eksperimen (model latihan melompat berbasis D-Mat) adalah 77,78 atau 77,78%. Skor tersebut termasuk dalam kategori "efektif", sedangkan rata-rata skor N-Gain kelas kontrol (model konvensional) adalah 53,89 atau 53,89% termasuk dalam kategori kurang efektif. Dengan demikian, model latihan melompat dengan D-Mat lebih efektif dari pada model latihan konvensional untuk anak tunagrahita. Simpulan: model melompat berbasis D-Mat yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif digunakan untuk anak tunagrahita tipe ringan. ******** ABSTRACT This research begins from the low basic movement of jumping for children with intellectual disabilities. This can be seen based on observations in several SDLB in South Sumatra the results are still low. Therefore, there is a need for innovation to solve these problems by developed the jumping training model based D-Mat for children with intellectual disabilities. This study aims to obtain a valid, practical and effective to jumping training models based D-Mat for chidren with mild intellectual disability. The method used is a research and development method that adopts the theory of Borg and Gall by following all stages of the research. Based on expert validation in basic movements, experts on exercise/sports materials for intellectual disabled children and experts in the field of electrical engineering stated that the jumping taining model based D-Mat for intellectual disabled children was feasible to be tested. Based on the results of preliminary field testing with 15 subjects, the obtained an average percentage of 80,17% indicating a very good category. Based on the results of the main field testing with 60 subjects, the obtained an average percentage of 82,2% indicating a very good category. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the developed model proved to be better for improving the basic jumping ability of intellectual disabled children with the results obtained that the value of t = 3.827 and the value of Sig. (2-tailed) or p-value = 0.032 < 0.05. That’s means Ho is rejected or there is a difference between the jumping training model based D-Mat and the conventional model for children with intellectual disabilities. Based on the results of the N-Gain score, it was found that the average score of the experimental class (jumping training model based D-Mat) was 77.78 or 77.78%. The score is included in the "effective" category, while the average N-Gain score for the control class (conventional training model) is 53.89 or 53.89% is included in the “less effective” category. So, the jumping training model based D-Mat is more effective than the conventional training model for children with intellectual disabilities. Conclusion: The developed jumping training models based D-Mat is valid, practical and effective to use for children with mild intellectual disability

    The Impact of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) Learning Method on Long Jump Performance

    This research aims to investigate the influence of the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) learning method on students' long jump performance. The STAD learning method is an approach that encourages collaboration and interaction among students in the form of teams, with a focus on both group and individual achievements. Long jump was chosen as the research context due to its involvement in complex physical and technical aspects, requiring a combination of motor skills and conceptual understanding. The research method used is an experimental method, with a "one group pretest-posttest" design. The study involves a sample of 50 male students at MTs Miftahul Ulum Pangkalan Balai. The instrument used is an assessment of long jump performance. The assessment of long jump in this research covers both the process and the outcome, including the distance achieved in the jump. Data analysis is conducted using the t-test. The results of the data analysis show that because the calculated t-value is 5.87 &gt; the tabulated t-value of 2.00. The findings of this study indicate a significant influence of the STAD method on the improvement of long jump skills among students at MTs Miftahul Ulum Pangkalan Balai. This research provides a significant contribution to our understanding of the impact of the STAD method on students' long jump results, forming the basis for the development of more effective and sustainable learning approaches in the field of sports

    The purpose of this study is to investigate traditional games and sports in learning penjasorkes. Samples are 8 elementary schools Ogan Komering Ilir. The sampling technique used the random sampling. Collecting data in this study using a survey method. Data collection techniques in this study is documentation and questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is descriptive with percentage. Conclusion games and traditional sports in penjasorkes learning on students in elementary schools throughout Ogan Komering Ilir, amounting to 8 primary school quite well as evidenced by the distribution of instructional time by 79.66%, the ability of teachers in the mastery of the material and learning penjasorkes are classified as good by 84 , 20%, characteristics of the game as well as the motion generated by both criteria that is equal to 74.03%, the elements penjasorkes classified as very good by 83.59% and interest in sports games traditionally classified as good by 83.26

    The Impact of ACIK Gymnastics on Physical Fitness in Elementary Schools

    Physical fitness is a condition that every child must have. Children who have good physical fitness show healthiness. To have good physical fitness can be done by exercising. One sport that is easy for children to do is gymnastics. This study was aimed to determine the impact of ACIK gymnastics on children in elementary schools. This study was supposed to determine the impact of gymnastics on the physical fitness of children aged between 6-9 years. This type of research was experimental research by providing treatment in the form of ACIK gymnastics to children. The sample used in this study was 30 girls at SD 01 Kandis Ogan Ilir. The data were obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest. This research was an experimental research. Statistical test using SPSS means the value of Sig. (2 tailed) is 0.002 &lt;0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average pre-test and post-test TKJI test results, which means that there is an effect of ACIK gymnastics on the physical fitness of children at SD Negeri 10 Kandis. Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that gymnastics has a significant impact on increasing physical fitness in early childhood. It can be suggested that ACIK gymnastics can be used in physical activities as well as exercises to improve fitness because of it

    Mastery of basic movements must start from an early age, because mastering basic movement abilities is an important foundation for children to be able to be involved in many kinds of physical activities in the future. This research is related to the basic motion of jumping. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of D-Mat in increasing basic jumping motion in early childhood. This type of research is experimental research by providing treatment in the form of a game method with D- Mat in early childhood. The sample used in this study is the total number of early childhood children in early childhood education. The data were obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest. The research sample consisted of 4-5 years old children in TK Negeri Pembina 4 and TK Kurnia Makmur Palembang totaling 30 people. Data analysis techniques using the t test. Based on the results of the research based on the t-test calculation, the value of fcount &lt;ftable or 4.29 &lt;1.693 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that the child's final ability is better than before using the D-Mat. It can be concluded that D-Mat is effectively used to improve basic jumping motion in early childhood in Palembang. It is suggested that the D-Mat mat can be used in physical activities as well as learning because the D-Mat contains pictures of letters and numbers

    Mengatasi masalah belum optimalnya pemahaman motor learning melalui permainan edukatif bean bag sensory target di SLB Karya Ibu Palembang adalah dengan kegiatan sosialisasi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat tersusun tiga tahap antara lain: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan dan 3) evaluasi. Pengambilan data melalui observasi berlangsung selama 2 hari. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Subjek terdiri dari siswa, orang tua dan guru berjumlah 26 orang. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 100% (26 orang). Hasil dari sosialisasi ini memberi motivasi kepada siswa-siswa untuk turut serta mengambil bagian dari olahraga pickleball selain menjadi atlet olahraga pickleball dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani.     Tujuan&nbsp; kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan jumlah program studi yang menerapkan program MBKM, memfasilitasi program studi untuk mengembangkan kurikulum sesuai dengan kebijakan MBKM, menghasilkan pengalaman baik (good practices) di perguruan tinggi dalam menyusun dan mengimplementasikan kurikulum program MBKM yang memiliki capaian pembelajaran lulusan sesuai dengan KKNI dan SN-Dikti. Manfaat penyelenggaraan program bantuan program studi menerapkan kerja sama kurikulum MBKM diharapkan dapat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh mahasiswa, dosen, program studi, perguruan tinggi, serta mitra.
