    The effectiveness of the use of augmented reality-assisted physics e-module based on pedicab to improve mathematical communication and critical thinking abilities

    This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the use of an augmented reality-assisted physics e-module based on the local wisdom of the pedicab in improving mathematical communication and critical thinking abilities. The study used the 4D model. Empirical trials were conducted involving 255 grade XII students. The effectiveness test was conducted in class X with 36 students as the experimental class and 36 students as the control class at SMA Negeri 1 Depok, Sleman. The data analysis used the QUEST to see the validity and reliability of the items, and the MANOVA test was carried out to see the effectiveness of the media. The results showed that the augmented reality-assisted physics e-module based on the local wisdom of pedicab was effective in improving mathematical communication with a score of 0.40 (large) and critical thinking abilities with a score 0.11 (medium)Peer Reviewe

    Development of augmented reality integrated physics e-worksheet to improve students' problem-solving skills

    The STEM approach through the augmented reality usage can provide visualization to students in online learning. The purposes of this research are to develop Physics E-Worksheet based on STEM using augmented reality system, and to improve the problem-solving skills of high school students on Momentum and Impulse material. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D model (define, design, develop and disseminate). This study involved 24 students as a field trial class and 31 students in class X as a field operational class. The results of this study are: This Physics AR E-Worksheet is valid and reliable for use in the physics learning process for Momentum and Impulse material based on the results of validation analysis using an average value of a scale of four with a score of 3.73 in very good criteria. The results of the Paired T-Test analysis showed the value of Sig. 0.00, so that there is an effect of using AR Physics E-Worksheet on improving problem-solving skills of high school students. The score of Normalized Gain obtained 0.77 in high category improvement. The results showed that the AR Physics E-Worksheet was effective in improving problem solving skills so that it could be used as a learning medium for the Momentum and Impulse topic by class X science students

    Impact on Medical Education and the Medical Student’s Attitude, Practice, Mental Health, After One Year of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia

    Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruptions in educational institutions across the country, prompting medical schools to adopt online learning systems. This study aims to determine impact on medical education and the medical student’s attitude, practice, mental health after 1 year of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Methods: This study utilized a cross-sectional design. An online questionnaire was distributed digitally to 49 medical schools in Indonesia from February–May 2021. A total of 7,949 medical students participated in this study. Sampling was carried out based on a purposive technique whose inclusion criteria were active college students. This research used questionnaires distributed in online version among 49 medical faculties that belong to The Association of Indonesian Private Medical Faculty. Instruments included demographic database, medical education status, experience with medical tele-education, ownership types of electronic devices, availability of technologies, programs of education methods, career plans, attitudes toward pandemic, and the mental health of respondents. Univariate and bivariate statistical analysis was conducted to determine the association of variables. All statistical analyses using (IBM) SPSS version 22.0. Results: Most of the respondents were female (69.4%), the mean age was 20.9 � 2.1 years. More than half of the respondents (58.7%) reported that they have adequate skills in using digital devices. Most of them (74%) agreed that e-learning can be implemented in Indonesia. The infrastructure aspects that require attention are Internet access and the type of supporting devices. The pandemic also has an impact on the sustainability of the education program. It was found that 28.1% were experiencing financial problems, 2.1% postponed their education due to this problems. The delay of the education process was 32.6% and 47.5% delays in the clinical education phase. Around 4% student being sick, self-isolation and taking care sick family. the pandemic was found to affect students’ interests and future career plans (34%). The majority of students (52.2%) are concerned that the pandemic will limit their opportunities to become specialists. Nearly 40% of respondents expressed anxiety symptoms about a variety of issues for several days. About a third of respondents feel sad, depressed, and hopeless for a few days. Conclusion: The infrastructure and competency of its users are required for E-learning to be successful. The majority of medical students believe that e-learning can be adopted in Indonesia and that their capacity to use electronic devices is good. However, access to the internet remains a problem. On the other side, the pandemic has disrupted the education process and mental health, with fears of being infected with SARSCoV- 2, the loss of opportunities to apply for specialty training, and the potential for increased financial difficulties among medical students. Our findings can be used to assess the current educational process in medical schools and maximize e-learning as an alternative means of preparing doctors for the future.     Mengembangkan E-Modul Berbantuan Augmented Reality Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Becak untuk Pembelajaran Fisika

    This study aims to reveal the feasibility of an augmented reality-assisted physics e-module based on the local wisdom of pedicabs in teaching. This study uses the 4-D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research data were obtained from the results of the product feasibility evaluation by material experts and media experts (two expert lecturers, three physics teachers, and two peer reviewers), as well as from the student response questionnaire. The result of the assessment by material and media experts shows the developed module is in the very good category. Assessment of student responses to the developed e-module on the circular motion material shows that in terms of the attractiveness aspect it is in a good category, and in terms of usability and operation aspects, it is in a good category. The developed augmented reality-assisted physics e-module based on the local wisdom of the pedicab is suitable for use in teaching circular motion materialsPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-modul fisika berbantuan augmented reality berbasis kearifan lokal becak dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil penilaian kelayakan produk oleh ahli materi dan ahli media (2 dosen ahli, 3 guru fisika, dan 2 peer reviewer), serta angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penilaian berdasarkan ahli materi dan media berada pada kategori sangat baik. Penilaian respon siswa terhadap e-module yang dikembangkan pada materi gerak melingkar aspek kemenarikan dengan kategori baik, aspek kegunaan dan pengoperasian dengan kategori baik.
