Relating Green's Functions in Axial and Lorentz Gauges using Finite Field-Dependent BRS Transformations
We use finite field-dependent BRS transformations (FFBRS) to connect the
Green functions in a set of two otherwise unrelated gauge choices. We choose
the Lorentz and the axial gauges as examples. We show how the Green functions
in axial gauge can be written as a series in terms of those in Lorentz gauges.
Our method also applies to operator Green's functions. We show that this
process involves another set of related FFBRS transfomations that is derivable

ViFi: accurate detection of viral integration and mRNA fusion reveals indiscriminate and unregulated transcription in proximal genomic regions in cervical cancer.
The integration of viral sequences into the host genome is an important driver of tumorigenesis in many viral mediated cancers, notably cervical cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma. We present ViFi, a computational method that combines phylogenetic methods with reference-based read mapping to detect viral integrations. In contrast with read-based reference mapping approaches, ViFi is faster, and shows high precision and sensitivity on both simulated and biological data, even when the integrated virus is a novel strain or highly mutated. We applied ViFi to matched genomic and mRNA data from 68 cervical cancer samples from TCGA and found high concordance between the two. Surprisingly, viral integration resulted in a dramatic transcriptional upregulation in all proximal elements, including LINEs and LTRs that are not normally transcribed. This upregulation is highly correlated with the presence of a viral gene fused with a downstream human element. Moreover, genomic rearrangements suggest the formation of apparent circular extrachromosomal (ecDNA) human-viral structures. Our results suggest the presence of apparent small circular fusion viral/human ecDNA, which correlates with indiscriminate and unregulated expression of proximal genomic elements, potentially contributing to the pathogenesis of HPV-associated cervical cancers. Invisible Higgs boson, continuous mass fields and unHiggs mechanism
We explore the consequences of an electroweak symmetry breaking sector which
exhibits approximately scale invariant dynamics -- i.e., nontrivial fixed point
behavior, as in unparticle models. One can think of an unHiggs as a composite
Higgs boson with a continuous mass distribution. We find it convenient to
represent the unHiggs in terms of a Kallen-Lehmann spectral function, from
which it is simple to verify the generation of gauge boson and fermion masses,
and unitarization of WW scattering. We show that a spectral function with broad
support, which corresponds to approximate fixed point behavior over an extended
range of energy, can lead to an effectively invisible Higgs particle, whose
decays at LEP or LHC could be obscured by background.Comment: 8 page

Electroweak Model Independent Tests for SU(3) Symmetry in Hadronic B Decays
We study effects of new physics beyond the Standard Model on SU(3) symmetry
in charmless hadronic two body B decays. It is found that several equalities
for some of the decay amplitudes, such as , , , predicted by SU(3) symmetry in the SM are not affected by new
physics. These relations provide important electroweak model independent tests

Antioxidant and antihyperglycemic potential of methanolic extract of bark of mimusops elengi l. In mice
Ayurveda refers Mimusops elengi L. for the treatment of the diabetes. Considering the traditional claim of M. elengi in management of diabetes and the possible involvement of oxidative stress in pathogenesis of diabetes, the present study was aimed to evaluate the in vitro antioxidant and in vivo antihyperglycemic property of methanolic extract of bark of M. elengi (MEMeOH). In vitro antioxidant activity of MEMeOH was evaluated using reducing power assay, DPPH and hydroxyl radical scavenging assay. MEMeOH offered significant in vitro reducing power capacity and radical scavenging activity. In acute study in alloxan induced diabetes, MEMeOH exhibited significant (p< 0.001) antihyperglycemic effect. The onset of antihyperglycemic effect was observed at 2nd hr; peak activity was demonstrated at 6th hr. The antihyperglycemic effect of MEMeOH 400mg/kg, p.o. was persistent up to 24th hr after drug administration. MEMeOH produced significant (p < 0.01) reduction in elevated glucose levels in glucose loaded non diabetic animals. The onset of action in non diabetic oral glucose tolerance test was found to be at 60th min and peak activity was observed at 120th min after oral glucose load. MEMeOH demonstrated significant (p < 0.01) reduction in elevated glucose levels 2hr before glucose administration and 6 hr after glucose load in oral glucose tolerance test in diabetic animals. MEMeOH has demonstrated antihyperglycemic activity in diabetic as well as non diabetic glucose loaded mice. CP Violation in a Multi-Higgs Doublet Model
We study CP violation in a multi-Higgs doublet model based on a horizontal symmetry. We consider two mechanisms for CP violation in this
model: a) CP violation due to complex Yukawa couplings; and b) CP violation due
to scalar-pseudoscalar mixings. We find that the predictions for
, CP violation in B decays and the electric dipole moments
of neutron and electron are different between these two mechanisms. These
predictions are also dramatically different from the minimal Standard Model

Texture of fermion mass matrices in partially unified theories
We investigate the texture of fermion mass matrices in theories with partial
unification (for example ) at a scale
GeV. Starting with the low energy values of the masses and the
mixing angles, we find only two viable textures with atmost four texture zeros.
One of these corresponds to a somewhat modified Fritzsch textures. A
theoretical derivataion of these textures leads to new interesting relations
