Entegrasyon işlemi İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi Denizcilik Fakültesi için geliştirilen kalite yönetim sistemi dökümantasyonunu da kapsamaktadır. Optimum entegrasyon aşamaları ve gereken emek düzeyleri hesaplanmıştır. Bu yeni modelin, standardın her bir maddesinin entegrasyon verimliliği hesaplanmak suretiyle; diğer denizcilik yüksek öğretim kurumları için de kullanımı geçerli olacaktır. Kuralın her bir maddesi için uygunsuzluk parametreleri tanımlanarak aktif elemanların ve destekleyici elemanların önemi ayrıklaştırılmıştır. Kalite yönetim sisteminin düzenli işletilmesi amacıyla Dahili Denetim kriterleri ve Yönetim Gözden Geçirme seviyeleri geliştirilmiştir. Model; ISO 9002, ISO 14001, STCW 95 Konvansiyonu ve ISM Kuralında belirtilen hususların, gerek entegrasyon ve gerekse yürütülmesini kapsamaktadır. Modelin işletilmesi Uluslararası Tescil Makamları olan Class NK ve RINA tarafından onaylanmıştır.In this study using Expert System, the integration of quality management model into the maritime education is established. The integration process also contains the quality management system documentation that is specifically developed for Maritime Faculty of İstanbul Technical University. The optimum integration steps and the effort levels are calculated. This new model measures the integration efficiency of the each clause of standard and is also valid for the other maritime higher education institutions. The nonconformance parameters are defined for each clause to differentiate the importance of activity elements and supporting elements. Internal Audit criteria and the Management Review levels are developed for aiming the proper implementation of quality management system. This model covers both the integration and the implementation of ISO 9002, ISO 14001, STCW 95 Convention and the ISM Code requirements. The approval for the implementation of this model was carried both by Class NK and RINA who are the International Registration Bodies.DoktoraPh

    Performance analysis of an irreversible cascaded heat-transformer

    By employing an irreversible thermodynamic approach the optimum performance of an cascaded absorption heat-transformer system is investigated. To get closer to real machines, the effects of thermal resistances and internal irreversibilities on the performance of the cascaded cycle is considered. An improved equation for the coefficient of performance (COP) of the system under consideration was obtained.     Optimum performance of irreversible cascaded and double effect absorption refrigerators

    The effects of thermal resistances and internal irreversibilities on the performances of cascaded and double effect absorption refrigeration cycles were investigated. Improved equations for the coefficient of performance (COP) of the systems under consideration were obtained. It was found that, under the same operation conditions, the cascaded cycle gives an increase of about 60% in the COP and 40% in the cooling load compared to that of a double effect cycle.
