    Unlike tree indexes adopted in current business, our index is less receptive to scaling up dimensions and scales well with multi-dimensional data. Unsolicited candidates are cut according to distances between MBR points or keywords and also with the best diameter found. NKS queries are useful for many applications, for example, discussing images in social systems, searching for graphic patterns, searching for geolocation in GIS systems, etc. We produce accurate shape as well as approx shape of formula. In this paper, we consider keyword-bearing objects thus baked into a vector space. Keyword-based searches in text-rich multi-dimensional datasets facilitate many new applications and tools. From these datasets, we study queries that require the smallest point categories that satisfy the set of proven keywords. Our experimental results on real and synthetic datasets show that ProMiSH has up to 60 chances of acceleration compared to modern column-based technologies. We recommend a unique method known as ProMiSH, which uses random projection and hash-based index structures and delivers high scalability and acceleration. We are conducting extensive pilot studies to demonstrate the performance of the proposed technologies

    On pressure dependence of the relative compression (V/V0) at room temperature for the solids : copper and lead as prototypes

    A correction term has been introduced in the usual Tait’s equation of state (EOS) and then used to predict the pressure dependence of the thermal compression for the solids : copper (Cu) and lead (Pb). The predictive capabilities of the complete EOS are discussed.     COMBINED EFFECT OF AQUEOUS EXTRACT OF CURCUMA LONGA LINN.WITH METFORMIN IN DIABETES INDUCED NEUROPTAHIC PAIN IN RATS

    Objectives: A number of studies previously conducted have shown that the progression of severity of diabetic Neuropathy relates the increased oxidative stress due to hyperglycemia describing the probable underlying mechanism as changes in the anti-oxidant enzyme level leading to several vascular and neuronal changes. The present investigation was carried out to observe the combined effect of Aqueous Extract of Curcuma longa Linn.(Curcumin) with Metformin  in delaying of Diabetes induced Neuropathic Pain in Rats.Methods: The high-fat diet treated male SD rats were induced diabetic by a single intra-peritoneal injection of Streptozocin (35mg/kg). Eddy's Hot Plate and Hot Water Tail Immersion test were the Models used to assess the Neuropathic pain. The high Fat diet treated and Diabetic Rats were treated with Metformin (500mg/kg), Curcumin (300mg/kg) and a combination of low dose of Metformin with Curcumin, followed by the oral glucose tolerance test before and after the treatment on both Normal and Diabetic Rats. After 7 weeks of treatment TBARS, SOD, Catalase and GSH levels were also estimated in the sciatic nerve homogenate of Diabetic Rats and compared with the control followed by a supporting histopathological examination of Sciatic Nerve.Results: Diabetic Rats treated with Curcuma longa Linn. and Metformin  alone and in combination showed a significant improvement in control of blood glucose level and restoration of anti-oxidant enzyme levels. There was a significant improvement in the hyperalgesia (P<0.001) due to Diabetic Neuropathy and also the reaction time to the nociceptive stimuli in Neuropathic pain models was increased after the treatment.Key Words:   Antioxidant, Curcumin, Diabetes, Metformin, Neuropathy, Streptozoci

    Systematic review of functional training on muscle strength, physical functioning, and activities of daily living in older adults

    Exercise programs are often recommended for preventing or delaying late-life disability. Programs that incorporate functional training, which uses movements similar to performing activities of daily living, may be suitable for such recommendation. The purpose of this systematic review was to examine the effects of functional training on muscle strength, physical functioning, and activities of daily living in older adults. Studies in three electronic databases (MEDLINE, CINAHL, and SPORTDiscus) were searched, screened, and appraised. Thirteen studies were included in the review. These studies vary greatly in participant recruitment criteria, functional training content, and selection of comparison groups. Mobility exercises were the most common element in functional training across studies. Results show beneficial effects on muscle strength, balance, mobility, and activities of daily living, particularly when the training content was specific to that outcome. Functional training may be used to improve functional performance in older adults

    The Structural Features of Trask That Mediate Its Anti-Adhesive Functions

    Trask/CDCP1 is a transmembrane protein with a large extracellular and small intracellular domains. The intracellular domain (ICD) undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation by Src kinases during anchorage loss and, when phosphorylated, Trask functions to inhibit cell adhesion. The extracellular domain (ECD) undergoes proteolytic cleavage by serine proteases, although the functional significance of this remains unknown. There is conflicting evidence regarding whether it functions to signal the phosphorylation of the ICD. To better define the structural determinants that mediate the anti-adhesive functions of Trask, we generated a series of deletion mutants of Trask and expressed them in tet-inducible cell models to define the structural elements involved in cell adhesion signaling. We find that the ECD is dispensable for the phosphorylation of the ICD or for the inhibition of cell adhesion. The anti-adhesive functions of Trask are entirely embodied within its ICD and are specifically due to tyrosine phosphorylation of the ICD as this function is completely lost in a phosphorylation-defective tyrosine-phenylalanine mutant. Both full length and cleaved ECDs are fully capable of phosphorylation and undergo phosphorylation during anchorage loss and cleavage is not an upstream signal for ICD phosphorylation. These data establish that the anti-adhesive functions of Trask are mediated entirely through its tyrosine phosphorylation. It remains to be defined what role, if any, the Trask ECD plays in its adhesion functions

    Burden and contributing factors to overweight and obesity in young adolescents in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

    The prevalence of overweight/obesity in adolescents has increased globally, including in low- and middle-income countries. Early adolescence provides an opportunity to develop and encourage positive health and behavioural practices, yet it is an understudied age group with limited information to guide and inform appropriate interventions. This study aims to determine the prevalence of overweight/obesity in young adolescents, aged between 10 and 14 years attending public schools in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and to explore the contributing factors. A cross-sectional school-based study was conducted. Adolescents completed individual questionnaires. Weight (kg) and height (m) measurements were converted to BMI-for-age and gender z-scores. Multivariate regression analysis was conducted to determine the associated factors. The overall prevalence of overweight/obesity was 8% among adolescents aged 10-14 years and it was significantly higher in females (13%) than males (2%). The diet quality for the majority of the adolescents was inadequate, putting them at risk for poor health outcomes. The contributors to overweight/obesity were different between males and females. Age and no access to a flush toilet were negatively associated with overweight/obesity in males and access to a computer, laptop or tablet was positively associated. In females, menarche was positively associated with overweight/obesity. Living with only their mother or another female adult and an increase in physical activity were negatively associated with overweight/obesity. There is a need to improve the diet quality of young adolescents in Ethiopia and understand the reasons why females are less physically active to limit the risk of poor diet-related health outcomes
