Species Diversity of Carp, Cyprinus carpio (Cypriniformes, Cyprinidae), Parasites in Some Cultivation Regions

Zoogeographical comparison for species diversity of carp parasites in different cultivation regions including aquatic ecosystems of Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Vietnam was carried out. Totally, 160 parasitic species were recorded in carp within these regions. Parasitic species with direct and complex life cycles important in epizootic, veterinary, and health areas were registered.Проведено зоогеографическое сравнение особенностей видового разнообразия паразитов карпа из разных регионов разведения, включая водные экосистемы Украины, Узбекистана, России, Вьетнама. Всего у карпа в пределах этих регионов зарегистрировано 160 видов паразитов. Отмечены специфические и имеющие эпизоотологическое и медико-ветеринарное значения виды паразитов с прямым и сложным циклом развития

КУЛЬТУРНЫЕ ИНДУСТРИИ: КЛОНИРОВАНИЕ ИДЕЙ И СМЫСЛОВ

Despite the obvious interest of the media to cultural industries, this specific segment of the intellectual market still remains outside the focus of sociological interest. For example, “products with subtext” deserve our close attention for they are responsible for the ideological consistency of the information society especially due to the fact that information technologies, having become part of the production chains of cultural industries, have significantly expanded the functions of education and leisure. The seemingly heterogeneous productions of ideas and meanings are quite similar and unified in the elaboration of the repertoire, creation of the cult of the hero of his time and the culture of consumption of information products. E. Morin mentioned that creative technologies possess the “ability to standardize great romantic themes, thus, transforming archetypes into stereotypes”. Under the widespread digitization of production, this process has gained unprecedented dynamics, scale, ideological orientation and material interest. The persisting dramas of the Cold War and the post-Soviet conflicts prove that the “smart power” of Russia’s opponents is quite effective. On the one hand, it consolidates the public opinion of other countries, and, on the other hand, deforms the political culture of the object of its influence by sophisticated manipulations of the world picture of the younger generations. Investors of cultural industries not only invest in the expansion of a profitable intellectual business but also serve the political reproduction of power, which, in turn, provides optimal conditions for the “dual-use products” entering foreign information fields and cultural spaces. Whether or not the Russian society is ready to neutralize and counter the new class of information threats — the authors consider this and some other debatable issues. © V.N. Davydov, A.I. Sofoklis, 2018.При очевидном интересе средств массовой информации (далее - СМИ) к культурным индустриям этот специфический сегмент интеллектуального рынка все еще остается вне фокуса социологического интереса. Пристального внимания заслуживает, например, «продукция с подтекстом» - отвечающая за мировоззренческую состоятельность информационного общества, тем более что информационные технологии, став частью производственных цепочек культурных индустрий, заметно расширили функции образования и сферы досуга. Крайне разнородные, на первый взгляд, производства идей и смыслов обладают единством в выработке репертуара, создания культа героя своего времени и культуры потребления информационных продуктов. Э. Морен отметил в креативных технологиях органическую «способность стандартизации великих романтических тем, превращения архетипов в стереотипы». С повсеместной оцифровкой производства этот процесс приобрел небывалую динамику, масштаб, а также идеологическую направленность и материальный интерес. Неизжитые драмы холодной войны и неурядицы на постсоветском пространстве убеждают, что «умная сила» оппонентов России достаточно действенна и результативна. Она, с одной стороны, консолидирует общественное мнение других стран, а, с другой стороны, деформирует политическую культуру объекта влияния, изощренными манипуляциями искажая картину мира современных молодых поколений. Инвесторы культурных индустрий не только вкладывают средства в расширение прибыльного интеллектуального бизнеса, но и обслуживают политический процесс воспроизводства власти, которая, в свою очередь, обеспечивает оптимальные условия для проникновения «продукции двойного назначения» в чужие информационные поля и культурные пространства. Ultrabright single-photon emission from germanium-vacancy zero-phonon lines: deterministic emitter-waveguide interfacing at plasmonic hot spots

Striving for nanometer-sized solid-state single-photon sources, we investigate atom-like quantum emitters based on single germanium-vacancy (GeV) centers isolated in crystalline nanodiamonds (NDs). Cryogenic characterization indicated symmetry-protected and bright (>106 counts/s with off-resonance excitation) zero-phonon optical transitions with up to 6-fold enhancement in energy splitting of their ground states as compared to that found for GeV centers in bulk diamonds (i.e. up to 870 GHz in highly strained NDs vs. 150 GHz in bulk). Utilizing lithographic alignment techniques, we demonstrate an integrated nanophotonic platform for deterministic interfacing plasmonic waveguides with isolated GeV centers in NDs, which enables 10-fold enhancement of single-photon decay rates along with the emission direction control by judiciously designing and positioning a Bragg reflector. This approach allows one to realize the unidirectional emission from single-photon dipolar sources, thereby opening new perspectives for the realization of quantum optical integrated circuits

Lattice dynamics effects on small polaron properties

This study details the conditions under which strong-coupling perturbation theory can be applied to the molecular crystal model, a fundamental theoretical tool for analysis of the polaron properties. I show that lattice dimensionality and intermolecular forces play a key role in imposing constraints on the applicability of the perturbative approach. The polaron effective mass has been computed in different regimes ranging from the fully antiadiabatic to the fully adiabatic. The polaron masses become essentially dimension independent for sufficiently strong intermolecular coupling strengths and converge to much lower values than those tradition-ally obtained in small-polaron theory. I find evidence for a self-trapping transition in a moderately adiabatic regime at an electron-phonon coupling value of .3. Our results point to a substantial independence of the self-trapping event on dimensionality.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figure

First experimental results obtained using the highpower free electron laser at the siberian center for photochemical research

The first lasing near the wavelength of 140 µm was achieved in April 2003 using a high-power free electron laser (FEL) constructed at the Siberian Center for Photochemical Research. In this paper we briefly describe the design of the FEL driven by an accelerator–recuperator. Characteristics of the electron beam and terahertz laser radiation, obtained in the first experiments, are also presented in the paper.У Сибірському центрі фотохімічних досліджень навесні 2003 року отримана генерація випромінювання з довжиною хвилі 140 мкм на потужному лазері на вільних електронах (ЛВЕ). У роботі коротко описана конструкція ЛВЕ на базі прискорювача рекуператора і представлені результати вимірювання деяких параметрів електронного пучка і терагерцового випромінювання.В Сибирском центре фотохимических исследований весной 2003 года получена генерация излучения с длиной волны 140 мкм на мощном лазере на свободных электронах (ЛСЭ). В работе кратко описана конструкция ЛСЭ на базе ускорителя рекуператора и представлены результаты измерения некоторых параметров электронного пучка и терагерцового излучения
