This paper deals with the implications of Information and Communication Technology Tools on Society of Hilly and Rural area of Bhor Taluka of district Pune, Maharashtra, India. With the advent of Information and Communication Technology and its Tools, it has become possible for common man to connect, communicate and access global information. Information and Communication Technology provides better, faster and robust communication and has capability to connect the rural community with main stream of universe. Geographical boundary of this study is Bhor taluka (Tahsil) of Pune district of Maharashtra, India. Investigator has adopted survey based methodology to conduct the study and the questionnaire technique was used for data collection. The study revealed that the awareness of ICT and its Tools among the hilly and rural population of Bhor Tahsil is now growing and has positive impact on their livelihood especially on Education sector

The proposed method is new, simple, sensitive, reproducible, economical, accurate and precise and can be successfully applied in estimation of bisoprolol. This method can find applications in clinical studies and therapeutic drug monitoring. This method of colorimetric estimation of bisoprolol is based on the formation of blue colored chromogen when reacted with ferric chloride and pottasium ferricynide. The concentration of bisoprolol over range of  1- 13 micro g/ml was found to obey Beer's law in the stated range. The blue colored complex has absorption maxmia at 770 nm with molar absorptivity and sandell's 2.2387 x 104 lit mol-1 cm-1 and0.0154 micro g/cm2/0.001 absorbance units, reproducible, specific, and the reagent was not found to react with the soluble matters of the body fluids. The results analysis were validated as per ICH Q2B guidelines. Keywords: Bisoprolol, visible spectroscopy, validatio

The Importance of Vednaadhyaya in Clinical Diagnosis of Childhood Diseases

The knowledge of Ayurveda have been divided in eight branches i.e., Ashtangayurveda. Out of which Kaumarbhritya is the branch of Ayurveda, which deals with the knowledge of diseases and care of child right from conception till adolescence. Kashyap Samhita is the most important and main classical text of the Kaumarbhritya. The Kashyap Samhita is divided in various sections (Sthana) of which Vedanadhyaya is 25th Chapter of Sutrasthana where the symptomology of various diseases in children’s are explained and it helps in pediatric examination and diagnosis as children are not capable to speak about their symptoms themselves. The present review article is the humble effort to investigate the classical text of the Vedanadhyaya and its modern aspects. It is observable that Acharya Kashyap has integrated a broad collection of diseases of different system like skin, ENT, gastro-biliary, hematology and urinary system and has also included the Balgrahas. The symptoms described are truthful and rational in modern logical era also. Therefore, a comprehensive study of Vedanadhyaya is necessary for appropriate understanding of Ayurvedic point of view for pediatric diseases and their ordinary discriminative symptoms. It reinforces the view, that children are not miniature adults and diseases in pediatric age group have different features and requires understanding of it. This review article highlights the importance of Vednaadhyaya in clinical diagnosis of childhood diseases

Data from: Piceatannol attenuates RANKL-induced osteoclast differentiation and bone resorption and promotes caspase3-mediated apoptosis of mature osteoclasts

Osteoclasts are multinuclear giant cells that have unique ability to degrade bone. The search for new medicines that modulate the formation and function of osteoclasts is a potential approach for treating osteoclast-related bone diseases. Piceatannol (PIC), a natural organic polyphenolic stilbene compound found in diverse plants with a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect. However, the effect of PIC on bone health has not been scrutinized systematically. In this study, we used RAW264.7, a osteoclast lineage cells of murine macrophages, to investigate the effects and the underlying mechanisms of PIC on osteoclasts . Here, we demonstrated that PIC treatment ranging from 0 to 40μM strongly inhibited osteoclast formation and bone resorption in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, the inhibitory effect of PIC was accompanied by the decrease of osteoclast-specific genes. At the molecular level, PIC suppressed the phosphorylation of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK1/2), NF-κB p65, IκBα and AKT. Besides, PIC promoted the apoptosis of mature osteoclasts by inducing caspase-3 expression. In conclusion, our results suggested that PIC inhibited RANKL-induced osteoclastogenesis and bone resorption by suppressing MAPK, NF-κB and AKT signaling pathways and promoted caspase3-mediated apoptosis of mature osteoclasts, which might contribute to the treatment of bone diseases characterized by excessive bone resorption
