    Proximity Word Set Exploration In Several Dimensional Data

    Unlike the tree-index used in existing applications, our directory information provides minimal responsiveness to adding dimensions and scales across multiple dimensions. Unwanted candidates are cut based on the distance between the MBR points or the keywords and their specified diameter. NKS queries are useful for many applications, for example, photo-conversations in social systems, graphic design recognition, geographic search in GIS systems, and more. We prepare the most accurate and approximate variants of the formula. In this paper we consider the items labeled with keywords and therefore are included in the vector space. Keyword-based search with a text-rich multi-dimensional database optimizes many fictional apps and devices. From these databases, we study questions that require dot categories that meet the requirements of the keywords. Our experimental results for real and immediate datasets show that PROMISCH has more than 60 variables based on related tree-based techniques. We recommend the only method called PROMISSH, which uses arbitrary prediction and hash-based indexes that provide high balance and portability. We conduct extensive experimental studies to demonstrate the implementation of suggested techniques

    The Analysis of Essential Factors Responsible for Loss of Labour Productivity in Building Construction Projects in India

    The purpose of this paper is to find the essential factors influencing the loss of labour productivity (LP) in construction in India and substantiate these factors with naturalistic observation method in a building construction project. From the past studies, factors influencing the LP are specifically selected for the survey and statistically analyzed to form into defined group of factors. The influence of these factors is then correlated to the field level LP. For this, a case study is conducted using TMS technique to inspect factors influencing LP in an ongoing multi storied residential building construction site in Telangana State, India. The LP factors identified by survey analysis are quantitatively validated with the field study. It is noted that work characteristics, organizational characteristics, assured and safety work and workers management were responsible for 15% loss of LP in the field. Of these, major loss of about 11% is shown by work characteristics factors such as material delay and tools delay. This method can be utilized by construction personnel to measure the loss of LP with the data available from survey methods and also assists the construction personnel in making timely decisions towards the improvement of LP for various activities on the construction project sites

    Improved controller design for two-input-two-output (TITO) unstable processes

    Controller design for unstable processes is relatively difficult when compared to stable processes. The complexity increases further for multivariable unstable processes. In this work, simplified tuning rules are proposed to design PID controller for unstable multivariable processes. Decouplers are applied to make the loops independent and diagonal elements of equivalent transfer function are used to design controllers. For this, the decoupler design procedure proposed by Hazarika and Chidambaram [10] is used. Two theoretical examples of TITO unstable processes with time delays are considered for simulation. Comparative analysis has been carried out with the recently reported methods in the literature and observed that the proposed method provides improved closed loop performances. Robustness studies are also carried out with various perturbations in the processes

    In this informative age, we find many documents are available in digital forms which need classification of the text. For solving this major problem present researchers focused on machine learning techniques: a general inductive process automatically builds a classifier by learning, from a set of pre classified documents, the characteristics of the categories. The main benefit of the present approach is consisting in the manual definition of a classifier by domain experts where effectiveness, less use of expert work and straightforward portability to different domains are possible. The paper examines the main approaches to text categorization comparing the machine learning paradigm and present state of the art. Various issues pertaining to three different text similarity problems, namely, semantic, conceptual and contextual are also discussed

    Observation of sub-Poisson photon statistics in the cavity-QED microlaser

    We have measured the second-order correlation function of the cavity-QED microlaser output and observed a transition from photon bunching to antibunching with increasing average number of intracavity atoms. The observed correlation times and the transition from super- to sub-Poisson photon statistics can be well described by gain-loss feedback or enhanced/reduced restoring action against fluctuations in photon number in the context of a quantum microlaser theory and a photon rate equation picture. However, the theory predicts a degree of antibunching several times larger than that observed, which may indicate the inadequacy of its treatment of atomic velocity distributions.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure

    A first principles investigation of cubic BaRuO3_3: A Hund's metal

    A first-principles investigation of cubic-BaRuO3_3, by combining density functional theory with dynamical mean-field theory and a hybridization expansion continuous time quantum Monte-Carlo solver, has been carried out. Non-magnetic calculations with appropriately chosen on-site Coulomb repulsion, UU and Hund's exchange, JJ, for single-particle dynamics and static susceptibility show that cubic-BaRuO3_3 is in a spin-frozen state at temperatures above the ferromagnetic transition point. A strong red shift with increasing JJ of the peak in the real frequency dynamical susceptibility indicates a dramatic suppression of the Fermi liquid coherence scale as compared to the bare parameters in cubic-BaRuO3_3. The self-energy also shows clear deviation from Fermi liquid behaviour that manifests in the single-particle spectrum. Such a clean separation of energy scales in this system provides scope for an incoherent spin-frozen (SF) phase, that extends over a wide temperature range, to manifest in non-Fermi liquid behaviour and to be the precursor for the magnetically ordered ground state.Comment: 10 pages, 12 figures, 1 tabl

    A functionally conserved boundary element from the mouse HoxD locus requires GAGA factor in Drosophila

    Hox genes are necessary for proper morphogenesis and organization of various body structures along the anterior-posterior body axis. These genes exist in clusters and their expression pattern follows spatial and temporal co-linearity with respect to their genomic organization. This colinearity is conserved during evolution and is thought to be constrained by the regulatory mechanisms that involve higher order chromatin structure. Earlier studies, primarily in Drosophila, have illustrated the role of chromatin-mediated regulatory processes, which include chromatin domain boundaries that separate the domains of distinct regulatory features. In the mouse HoxD complex, Evx2 and Hoxd13 are located ~9 kb apart but have clearly distinguishable temporal and spatial expression patterns. Here, we report the characterization of a chromatin domain boundary element from the Evx2-Hoxd13 region that functions in Drosophila as well as in mammalian cells. We show that the Evx2-Hoxd13 region has sequences conserved across vertebrate species including a GA repeat motif and that the Evx2-Hoxd13 boundary activity in Drosophila is dependent on GAGA factor that binds to the GA repeat motif. These results show that Hox genes are regulated by chromatin mediated mechanisms and highlight the early origin and functional conservation of such chromatin elements
