Kaon photoproduction on the nucleon: overview of some applications

Some applications of the elementary kaon photoproduction process are discussed: the investigation of missing resonances in the p(gamma,K+)Lambda channel, the role of the P_{13}(1720) state in the p(gamma,K0)Sigma+ channel, and the calculation of the Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn sum rule. Analisis Keunggulan Komparatif Beras Indonesia

Komoditas beras menjadi sumber pangan utama bagi 95 persen penduduk di Indonesia. Produksi padi tahun 2013 diperkirakan sebesar 70,87 juta ton gabah kering giling (GKG) setara dengan 42,52 juta ton beras atau naik 0,26 persen dibanding produksi padi 2012 yang tercatat 69,1 juta ton GKG. Di sisi lain, jumlah penduduk Indonesia pada tahun 2014 mencapai 250 juta jiwa dengan pertumbuhan yang melaju dengan cepat yakni sebesar 1,27 persen per tahun pada periode tahun 2005-2010. Konsumsi beras per kapita penduduk Indonesia mempunyai kecenderungan mengalami penurunan yakni dari 139 kg/kapita/tahun pada tahun 1993 menjadi 113 kg/kapita/tahun pada tahun 2012. Total konsumsi beras nasional mencapai 34,75 juta ton. Dengan demikian, seharusnya Indonesia sudah swasembada beras. Di masa depan, kalkulasi Indonesia akan kekurangan beras jauh lebih realistis ketimbang surplus beras, oleh karena itu kebijakan peningkatan ekonomi dan daya saing beras perlu diarahkan ke dalam bentuk kebijakan operasional baik dari sisi produksi maupun permintaan dalam upaya mencapai target swasembada beras berkelanjutan dan surplus beras nasional sebesar 10 juta ton pada tahun 2014. Dari hasil analisis keunggulan komparatif ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai Indeks Spesialisasi Pemasaran (ISP) beras baik segar maupun olahan mempunyai nilai negatif pada kisaran antara -1,0 hingga -0,71 yang berarti bahwa beras Indonesia mempunyai daya saing yang sangat rendah dan terus mengalami penurunan daya saing dari tahun ke tahun. Berdasarkan nilai Import Depedency Ratio (IDR) beras mempunyai nilai 0,80 - 1,02 persen, ini berarti supply beras Indonesia masih tergantung pada beras impor walaupun dalam kuantitas yang kecil, terutama pada jenis beras segar. Nilai Self-Sufficiency Ratio (SSR) beras Indonesia dari tahun 2008 – 2012 lebih dari 90 persen, yang berarti bahwa hampir sebagian besar kebutuhan beras dalam negeri dapat dipenuhi oleh produksi domestik. Hasil perhitungan nilai Revealed Symmetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA) menunjukkan bahwa beras Indonesia tidak mempunyai daya saing di pasar dunia. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai RSCA yang negatif yaitu sekitar -0,96hingga -0,99 persen pada tahun 2008-2012

Photoproduction of the Hypertriton

In the framework of the impulse approximation we study the photoproduction of the hypertriton $^3_{\Lambda}$H by using realistic $^3$He wave functions obtained as solutions of Faddeev equations with the Reid soft-core potential for different $^3_{\Lambda}$H wave functions. We obtain relatively small cross sections of the order of 1 nb. We also find that the influence of Fermi motion is important, while the effect of different off-shell assumptions on the cross section is not too significant.Comment: 6 pages in Latex. Sistem Informasi Rekam Medis Berbasis Jaringan Pada Puskesmas Loa Bakung Menggunakan Asp.net 3,5

Rekam medis adalah berkas yang berisikan catatan dan dokumen tentang identitas pasien pemeriksaan, pengobatan, tindakan dan pelayanan lain yang telah diberikan kepada pasien. Dengan adanya penggunaan aplikasi rekam medis berbasis jaringan diharapkan dapat memperbaiki pengumpulan data dan pelaksanaan lainnya yang terkait di puskesmas. Pada penelitian ini dibuat pada puskemas Loa Bakung untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan ASP.NET 3.5. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu waterfall. Alat Bantu pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu Flow Of Document (FOD), Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Hierarchy Plus Input Output (HIPO), dan Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan C# dan menggunakan SQL server

Deep Inelastic Scattering from off-Shell Nucleons

We derive the general structure of the hadronic tensor required to describe deep-inelastic scattering from an off-shell nucleon within a covariant formalism. Of the large number of possible off-shell structure functions we find that only three contribute in the Bjorken limit. In our approach the usual ambiguities encountered when discussing problems related to off-shellness in deep-inelastic scattering are not present. The formulation therefore provides a clear framework within which one can discuss the various approximations and assumptions which have been used in earlier work. As examples, we investigate scattering from the deuteron, nuclear matter and dressed nucleons. The Gift of Future Time: Islamic Welfare and Entrepreneurship in 21st century Indonesia

The attainment of religiously informed and socially responsible wealth is a desire widespread in the metropolises of Java, Indonesia, especially amongst the pious middle classes. This article aims at an understanding of the emergence and effects of an early 21st century desire for pious entrepreneurial success, by focusing on the practices people consistently and regularly undertake in order to actualise this. It claims that the religiously informed desire for entrepreneurial success is permeated by a mode of temporality that privileges the future at the expense of the past and the present. This temporal orientation has important consequences for subject-making, as it forces the subjectivities created to take a distinctively asymptotic form, resulting in the production of self-differing subjects; that is, subjects in which past, present and future actualisations lack coincidence and complete convergence

The Privatization of Metropolitan Jakarta's (Jabodetabek) Urban Fringes:The Early Stages of "Post-Suburbanization" in Indonesia

Problem, research strategy, and findings: Recent metropolitan development in developed countries is associated with post-suburbia, or a decline in population in the former central city and the growth of polycentric structures outside the traditional core. Current urban development in Asian cities, particularly in the Jakarta metropolitan region (Jabodetabek), also reflects an early stage of post-suburbia. We examine physical development patterns and the changing role of public and private sectors, although our approach is descriptive in nature. The rapid growth in fringe areas that have developed from dormitory communities into independent towns, triggered by privatization of industrial estates and multifunction new towns, shows typical post-suburban patterns. The national government's pro-growth economic policies and the local autonomy granted to local governments have given the private sector the power to largely control the acquisition, development, and management of land in fringe areas, accelerating post-suburban development patterns.Takeaway for practice: Planners in developing nations must be alert to the rapidly increasing role of the private sector, recognizing how the private sector can help the government to respond to regional needs for housing, jobs, shopping and educational opportunities, and infrastructure while understanding the key role that planning can and should play in ensuring private sector actions do not exacerbate regional problems and lead to uncoordinated public responses
