Multiple Quantum NMR Dynamics in Dipolar Ordered Spin Systems
We investigate analytically and numerically the Multiple Quantum (MQ) NMR
dynamics in systems of nuclear spins 1/2 coupled by the dipole-dipole
interactions in the case of the dipolar ordered initial state. We suggest two
different methods of MQ NMR. One of them is based on the measurement of the
dipolar temperature in the quasi-equilibrium state which establishes after the
time of order T2 after the MQ NMR experiment. The other method uses an
additional resonance 45^0 -pulse after the preparation period of the standard
MQ NMR experiment in solids. Many-spin clusters and correlations are created
faster in such experiments than in the usual MQ NMR experiments and can be used
for the investigation of many-spin dynamics of nuclear spins in solids.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figures. accepted for publication in Physical Review

Pairing state in multicomponent superconductors
We use the microscopic weak coupling theory to predict the pairing state in
superconductors of cubic, hexagonal, or tetragonal symmetry, where the order
parameter is multicomponent, i.e., transforms according to either a
2-dimensional or a 3-dimensional representation of the crystal point group. We
show that the superconducting phase usually breaks the time-reversal symmetry
for singlet multicomponent superconductors. The superconducting order parameter
for triplet superconductors in most cases turns out to be non-magnetic.Comment: 7 page
Examination of evidence for collinear cluster tri-partition
In a series of the experiments at different time-of-flight spectrometers of
heavy ions we have observed manifestations of a new at least ternary decay
channel of low excited heavy nuclei. Due to specific features of the effect, it
was called collinear cluster tri-partition (CCT). The experimental results
obtained initiated a number of theoretical articles dedicated to different
aspects of the CCT. We compare theoretical predictions with our experimental
data, only partially published so far. The model of one of the most populated
CCT modes that gives rise to the so called "Ni-bump" is discussed. Detection of
the 68-72Ni fission fragments with a kinetic energy E<25 MeV at the
mass-separator Lohengrin is proposed for an independent experimental

Uncommon 2D Diamond-like Carbon Nanodots Derived from Nanotubes: Atomic Structure, Electronic States and Photonic Properties
In this article, we report the results of relatively facile fabrication of
carbon nanodots from single-walled and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT and
MWCNT). The results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Raman
measurements show that the obtained carbon nanodots are quasi-two-dimensional
objects with a diamond-like structure. Based on the characterization results, a
theoretical model of synthesized carbon nanodots was developed. The measured
absorption spectra demonstrate the similarity of the local atomic structure of
carbon nanodots synthesized from single-walled and multi-walled carbon
nanotubes. However, the photoluminescence (PL) spectra of nanodots synthesized
from both sources turned out to be completely different. Carbon dots fabricated
from MWCNTs exhibit PL spectra similar to nanoscale carbon systems with sp3
hybridization and a valuable edge contribution. At the same time nanodots
synthesized from SWCNTs exhibit PL spectra which are typical for quantum dots
with an estimated size of ~0.6-1.3 nm.Comment: 22 pages, 9 figures, to appear in PCC
On Graph-Theoretic Identifications of Adinkras, Supersymmetry Representations and Superfields
In this paper we discuss off-shell representations of N-extended
supersymmetry in one dimension, ie, N-extended supersymmetric quantum
mechanics, and following earlier work on the subject codify them in terms of
certain graphs, called Adinkras. This framework provides a method of generating
all Adinkras with the same topology, and so also all the corresponding
irreducible supersymmetric multiplets. We develop some graph theoretic
techniques to understand these diagrams in terms of a relatively small amount
of information, namely, at what heights various vertices of the graph should be
"hung".
We then show how Adinkras that are the graphs of N-dimensional cubes can be
obtained as the Adinkra for superfields satisfying constraints that involve
superderivatives. This dramatically widens the range of supermultiplets that
can be described using the superspace formalism and organizes them. Other
topologies for Adinkras are possible, and we show that it is reasonable that
these are also the result of constraining superfields using superderivatives.
The family of Adinkras with an N-cubical topology, and so also the sequence
of corresponding irreducible supersymmetric multiplets, are arranged in a
cyclical sequence called the main sequence. We produce the N=1 and N=2 main

Conjugacy of two types of phenotypic variability of small-leaved linden
The properties of five bilaterally symmetrical features of the leaf blades of the small-leaved linden (Tilia cordata Mill.) in four populations of the Moscow Region in 2014–2017 were studied. The angle trait was excluded, because it possessed the property of directional asymmetry. Instead, a new linear trait was used: the distance between the base of the second vein of the first order and the base of the first vein of the second order on the first vein of the first order. The population difference in fluctuating asymmetry (FA) was found only in the first two traits (leaf width and distance between the bases of the first vein of the first order and the second vein of the second order). The largest value of FA was in the urban environment, the smallest was in the rural areas. A weak negative correlation was obtained between the magnitude of linear characteristics and the value of FA, as well as a weak positive correlation relationship between the values of FA in five traits. The first trait had the highest fluctuation variability, and the second one had the highest plastic variability. The regression dependence of the fluctuation variability on the plastic variability (b1 = 0.25, p <0.05) and the dependence of these two types of variability on the interaction of the factors “year” and “site of sampling” were revealed. Thus, the conclusion was made about the conjugacy of two types of variability: fluctuation and plastic. According to the authors, asynchronous growth, competition for light in conditions of high solar activity in 2014–2016 compared to the abnormal wet summer of 2017 led to an increase in FA due to destabilization of mechanisms of growth and regulation of gene expression, which contributed to a decrease in the stability of development. The increase in FA and the decrease in the developmental stability in urban ambient in 2016 could be due to: a)an intensive flow of vehicles in spring and summer, b) a high level of groundwater in this part of the city and c) increased hydrolytic acidity of the soil
