Electron elastic scattering off a Tensor-polarized Deuterium Internal Target
The tensor analyzing power Î20 in elastic electron-deuteron scattering has been measured in the four momentum transfer region between 1.4 and 3.2 fm~l using the Internal Target Facility at NIKHEF. Tensor-polarized deuterium is produced in an Atomic Beam Source and injected into a storage cell. Scattered electrons and recoil deuterons were detected in coincidence with two large acceptance nonmagnetic detectors

UvA-DARE (Digital Academic Repository) Supersonic gas jets as internal targets at NIKHEF
Abstract We investigated a gas jet issued from a rectangular slit nozzle. Such jets can be made to dynamically converge by interacting with the residual, lower density, gas inside the accelerator vacuum vessel. Densities of up to few times 1015 atoms cme2 were achieved. We describe the experimental facility, the diagnostics used and present the result of our data analysis

A Large-Acceptance Detector System for Electron Scattering from Polarized Internal targets.
AmPS ring, measures the spin dependence in the elastic and break-up reaction channels from tensor polarized deuterium. It has been established that the detector setup can operate adequately in an internal target environment at luminosities up to 1032 e 12 atoms cm 122 s 121. Results and measured resolutions are presented
Antiprotonâproton elastic scattering at from |t| = 0.034 to 0.65 (GeV/c)2
Abstract The differential cross section for elastic antiprotonâproton scattering at s =1.8 TeV has been measured over the t range 0.034â©œ|t|â©œ0.65 (GeV/c)2. A logarithmic slope parameter, B, of 16.3±0.3 (GeV/c)â2 is obtained. In contrast to lower energy experiments, no change in slope is observed over this t range
